Miraculous Ladybug ANGST onehsot--Regret

We're changing the pace with a NEW kind of angst!

Note: I haven't seen the episode where the prompt takes place. But lets try this anyway!

Prompt:

Oof big mood. I don't like how the writers just change the characters personality and actions based on what they want to happen in the episodes. They just have them act however they want even if they wouldn't based on how they are already established. They were literally just talking about how much they appreciated Marinette then totally abandon her. Especially Alya. She is Marinette's loyal best friend and even though people make mistakes Alya would never reject and talk to her friend like that

How could they have been so foolish? Falling for such trash. They had all trusted Lila, a girl they barley knew. No one believed poor Marinette, and now they were paying the price.
No one had seen Marinette in school or outside of school for a month.
"Where did she go?" Alya asked, looking down sadly.
"She's just, vanished." Nino said.
"I kinda miss her..." Adrien admitted.
"I'm going to text her," Alya said.

Alya: Hey, we haven't heard or seen you in a while? You ok?

She didn't respond. Not that day, or tomorrow.
"Maybe we should go visit her?" Alya suggested.

The three students entered the bakery.
"Hey Mr. and Mrs. Dupin-Chang!" Alya smiled.
"Oh! What are you all doing here?" Sabine(mom) asked, surprise in her voice.
"We came to see Marinette," Nino said. "We haven't seen her in a while."
"You couldn't come a month ago?!" Tom(dad) yelled.
The three stepped back.
"Thanks to you, I barley see my daughter anymore!" Tom waved a finger at them.
"What are you talking about?" Adrien asked.

"Marinette transfered to a weekday boarding school across town a month ago," Sabine said.

The three gasped.

"We only see her on weekends." Sabine said.
"And even then, she just stays locked up in her room!" Tom said. "And you know what?! Its all your fault!"
"Tom, calm down..."
"No!" Tom said, turning to the three. "You drove her to misery! Because you did't trust her, she's gone! And she's never been the same... "

"Wh-What school does she go to?" Adrien asked.
The two adults stayed silent.
"Please," Alya said. "We need to make things right."

Sabine sighed. "She goes to pantalons de fantaisie college."

(Look that up I dare you)

The three walked into the large school. It was made of marble and everyone wore navy blue uniforms.
"Excuse me," Nino walked up to someone. "Do you know where we could find a girl named Marinette? Black hair with pigtails?"
The person nodded, and pointed them in the direction of the comman room.

The three peeked in the door. They saw Marinette with Luka and a few others.

She was laughing and smiling like never before. They had never seen her so happy.

They couldn't bare to ruin it.

Things were never the same after that day. Chloe practically ran the school again, treating everyone like dirt. No one had the guts to stand up to her. The halls were quieter. Things were bleaker. Akumas happened more often.

All because they hadn't believed her.

They were filled, with regret.

THE END
