Voltron Lance X OC oneshot--Change of careers

Inspired by this post:

*Spit takes* HOLY THIS IS GOOD!!!




It had all started like a smimple day in space. Keith, Shiro, and Lance had gone to the space mall to get a few things, when suddenly there was banging and screams. Keith and Lance were trapped under rubble.

"Keith!" Shiro ran to Keith and pulled him out from the rubble. Keith was unconscious and Shiro lifted him up and started to walk away.

If Lance could talk, he would've shouted after them.
But he couldn't. They left him, thinking he was already dead.

Lance grunted under the heavy rubble on top of him. He was loosing air fast. He was about to accept death when suddenly he could breath again. He looked up and saw a young alien female.
"Are you OK?!" the girl cried.
Lance looked down and saw a metal pole stuck through his chest. He pointed to it.
"Oh my goodness!" the girl gasped. She lifted Lance up and helped him to where the space medics were.
"Its going to be OK," the girl said just before Lance passed out.

Lance awoke on a hard bed, with a blanket.
He sat up. "Where am I?" he asked.
"Oh thank goodness your awake!"
Lance looked to his side, and saw the young woman from earlier.
He could finally get a good look at her. She had light green skin and yellow hair.

"Wh-Who are you?" Lance asked.
"My name is Pandora," the girl said. "Your in the hospital. I've been visiting you for a while, but you've been asleep since the surgery."
"What surgery?"
"They had to remove the pipe in your chest." Pandora said. "Now that your awake, would you like to contact your family or friends?"
Lance shook his head. "My family is far away and think I'm dead. Same with my friends. My friends left me under that rubble to die."
"I'm so sorry," Pandora said. "You don't have anywhere to go, do you?"
Lance shook his head again.
"Don't worry, I was prepared if that happened. My family says you can stay with us until you get back on your feet!"
"Thank you Pandora,"

Lance sat at the dinner table with Pandora's family on a nice planet called Plaxia.
"So, young man, what are your interests?" Pandora's father asked.
"Well, I like to sing a little." Lance said.
"So do I!" Pandora said.
"Pandora loves to sing," Pandora's mother smiled. "She's wanted to be a singer since she was a toddler."
"You should try singing together!" Pandora's little brother spoke.
"Pablo!" Pandora squealed and blushed.
"Ha, I would love to." Lance said.



Lance sat in Pandora's room as she searched through some papers.
She came over and handed lance some papers.
"These are some songs I've been practicing," she said.
Lance looked through the songs. They were old earth songs!
"These are from my home planet! Where did you get these?"
"I was searching for unique songs on the web(Space internet?) and found those from a planet called Earth. OH!"
She started to dig around in her closet. She pulled out a guitar and tambourine.
 "I also bought these at an Earth store!" she said. "I thought that if the songs were good, these would be even cooler! But I don't know how they work."
"I know how to play that guitar," Lance said. "And the tambourine is easy."

After teaching Pandora the basics, they started to sing one of the songs:

(I'm not normally one to post songs and stuff but for this story I am!)

Lance and Pandora sounded very well together. When they were done, Pandora's family clapped. When did they get in the room?!

TIME SKIP :1 MONTH 

Lance and Pandora stood at the auditions. They were auditioning for a music agent who was looking for the next big thing. And the agent was known for his weird tactic: Give them the money and sometimes chooses the venues, but other than that, thew musics ions were in charge most of the time.
Lance and Pandora stepped on stage and sang their song(above).
When they were done, the agent stood and clapped. "That's exactly what I'm looking for!"



Lance and Pandora soon became one of the most popular duos in the space music industry. Pandora's family always came with them on tour. Lance and Pandora's friendship, soon turned into something more. They became lovers and it made their songs even better!

Lance was glad that rubble fell on him.

TIME SKIP: TWO YEARS

"Hey guys!" Pidge smiled. "There's this huge event going on down on the planet Plaxia,"
"What is it?" Keith asked.
"Its a huge music festival! We should all go!" she said.
"We all could use a break." Alurra said.
"Yeah!" Hunk said.
"I'm cool with that." Shiro said.
Keith shrugged. "Fine."

The team made their way through the large crowd until they could somewhat see the stage. They all had a blast, jamming out to all sorts of different music from different planets. But when the last act came on, the crowd screamed louder than usual.
The team couldn't see the stage, but could hear everything.

"How you doin' out there universe!" someone shouted.
That voice sounded farmland. But from where?
Another voice, female, started to speak. "We're the duo 'No bad vibes'! And we're so glad you all could make it!"
A guitar started to play and the two artists sang.

"Guys...this is...Earth music!" Hunk said.

"But how?!" Shiro said.

"The boy's voice is familiar..." Pidge said.

It clicked.

"LANCE!!!" They screamed in unison.

The team ran back stage. Lance and the other girl were signing autographs.

"LANCE!" Pidge cried.

Lance looked up and gasped.

"G-Guys?!" Lance backed away.

He ran over to the girl. But Voltron followed him.

"Honey, we need to get out of here!" they heard Lance say.

"What, why?" the girl said.

"They're here!" Lance cried.

"Lance!" Hunk ran up to Lance and hugged him.

"Get off him!" the girl pushed Hunk away.

"We must ask you to leave, or we will call security." the girl said.

Lance nodded.

"What?! Why?!" Keith said.

"Lance, we thought you were dead! How are you alive?!" Shiro asked.

"The exact day you thought I died? I was alive under there!" Lance yelled. "You left me to die!"

"But I helped him," Pandora said. "And now, we are living a happy life. And we would like it if you did not interfere."

Security came and started to drag the paladins away.

"Wait!" lance ran up to Pidge and Hunk. He gave them each tickets. "You two, feel free to come to my next show! Backstage passes!"

"I thought you were mad at us?!" Pidge said.

"I'm mad at those two," Lance pointed to Keith and Shiro. He turned back to Hunk and Pidge. "But you two did nothing wrong."

Lance walked away from the team and back to Pandora, where he gave her a kiss.

Lance wasn't going to leaver this new, happier life for the two people who left him for dead.

He had made a change of careers. And he like it.
