Minecraft Log #8.5

I dont have therapy today, and I’m seeing a movie with my mom later! So i’ve decided to spend today playing some extra minecraft!

As previously stated, I want to find sticks and iron. The internet said that iron forms in mountin biomes. And I feel like the cave I found is in the side of a mountin! But if after returning to the current cave doesnt have any good results, I’ll free climb further up instead

I harvested wood to make ladders and I ended up digging 2 caves: the first one had nothing. So i had to dismantle the ladders and climb my way out. The SECOND ONE revealed a massive cavern!!! I spent ages trying to build my way down. When I was finally able to get to the bottom, i discovered a massive wooden structures! It think its an abandoned mine. I didnt get to explore it too much, because I needed to get back to the surface. I also finally found some iron! Not nearly enough yet though.

After returning to the surface i decided to start on a house. Things are getting real, what with finding that mine. Im gonna need an offical home base! Not just a cluster of chests, crafting tables, and smelters on the outside wall of someone ELSE’S house. Im going to use birchwoof blanks so I can tell the difference between my house and all the other houses!

It took a long time, but i built the house! It was rather dedious, but dooabke! Its even got a secret basement/passageway for crafting and smelting and storage! 

I finished today by crafting an extra chest and placing it at the mine’s entrance. It holds extra tools and supplies.

Next goal is to continue the search for items to make a map, and explore the abadonded mine!!!

Minecraft Log #8

Today, I’m starting on my mission to make a map! I’ll need 8 papers and 1 compass. Making the compass is going to be the hardest part. Because I’ll need lots of iron(x4 iron ingots) but also redstone(x1) which I’m not sure I’ve encountered yet. But I’m more familiar with mining than I am farming(need x3 sugarcane for x3 paper), so im going to go for the iron and redstone today.

I started by going to a patch of stone across the water and mining for stone and coal. I quickly crafted stone tools and torches before making my way back to the village(leaving another trail of torches). I made a chest and put some items away before making my way to the cave. I left a trail of torches to find my way back. I dug around and found granite, coal, and copper, and even some blue lapus, but no iron. I blocked back up the hole i dug before going back to town. I wandered it in circles for ages, trying to find a smelter. Before finally i gave up and crafted my own. I began to smelt copper to make tools, in hopes it would let me break rocks to mine iron. 

Next time I need to harvest wood to make sticks to make LADDERS so I can return to the mine i filled in.

I think I want to build a house here in this village. Copy what the others look like, make some sort of defining feature. So that I have a second house and stuff. When I get back home, I’m gonna make a house. A real one. With all the floors and decor I want(IDK if I’ll turn on creative mode for that or not haha)! Because I’ve learned that even if I explore, I want to have places safe to come back to. Which means I’ll be making a lot of maps haha!

Sidenote—I discovered the little green orbs mobs drop are Experience Points. So i’ll need to be gathering those if I want to progress. I have an idea: I’ll build a Gladiator Ring! A place where I can control the mobs coming in and not letting too many in! I’ll use iron bars for the ceiling to avoid anything dropping in. Perhaps those “mob spawners” ive heard about could also be useful. But I have no idea how to make those. 

DREAM MINECRAFT — COLOSSEUM

If I make that mob gladiator ring, it’d be super far from my house for safety. But I’d have a secret tunnel(with a minecart and everything lol!)leading to a hidden cot and chest(with all the weapons)underground beneath it. Then there’d be a door leading up into the main “stage”. There’d be a “emperor’s booth” but rlly its just where I’d keep the chest of all the different kinds of mob spwaners I can use lol. Some of these builds online look super massive and crazy! But I think I’d go with the more medival Europe looking ones instead of the classic greek masterpieces the majority are lol. Theres an even simpler one that seems to combine both vibes into one!

I definitely want something like this! But I’m still such a beginer, something like that is a very distant dream.

DREAM MINECRAFT HOUSE PLANS

I want the interior of my dream minecraft house to have big open floors, windows, and lots unnecessary furniture. The first floor would have things like tables and kitchens lol, and a backdoor leading outside. It would have to have a walk in “closet” which would rlly be an immediate supply closet. Holding things like building materials. Any food would be in a kitchen chest—maybe even a walk in pantry? On the second floor I think I want to have hallways(which would also be decorated)and different rooms. I to have a storage room for sure(for rareer or more obscure items)and a library! I think you have to have a library to make an enchanting room, which eventually I want too! There could be a big opening that leads to a lab for potions with an open wall/counter that looks into the library. I want the third floor to be a bedroom. With unnecessary decor and armor stands and music players! I also want a balcony and spyglass. 

For the exterior, I want it to look like a pretty wooden tavern. I want to plant lots of pretty flowers, and place pretty red ones on either side of the front door. I want a yard with a big fense and a moat(to keep monsters out, obvi!). I want a small farm and maybe even a few animals. I definitely want a pet doggy! I’d have a small garden shed, holding things like seeds and garden tools.

I want a separate building to look like a silo, but actually its a watchtower! With a spyglass and cartography table and lots of maps. And it goes underground to reveal an entrance to the nether! It would have weapons and supplies for mining stored inside. And maybe it has a big spiral staircase! Or just a ladder lol.

Its a lot to do, and it would definitely be something I make the space for but don’t use all of it right away. So I can build on top of whatever I already have.

Minecraft Log #7

 08/20/26

Last we left off, I was on a boat in the middle of the ocean completely lost. Ive given up on finding my way back, so I’ve decided to kill myself. Im drowning in the minecraft ocean so i respawn in the village. I just have to start over. But thats ok! Maybe one day i’ll find my way back. Today I want to make tools and torches again and find a new mine.

I reexplored the village again. I regret looting them earlier, could have used a lot of those items now. I saw one of the houses had a fenced garden with only one flower. IDK why but i decided to fill it. I went to a flower patch and started to gather wildflowers when I encountered a bumblebee! I was able to feed it a flower and it started looking rlly happy with hearts! So cute!!! While there, in the distance I think I spotted a cave. I’ll check it out later.

After that, I gathered more flowers to use as a breadcrum trail as i made my way to a neighboorinh island. I placed them on my left side, so i could find my way back with my right. Something i heard online. The island only had stone though, and i needed wood. So i went to another neighboorinh island(no trail needed this time)and quickly crafted a crafting table, sticks, and new tools.

I returned to the village to double check for any loot I might have missed when I came across a photographers table. After looking up how to use it, my objective is clear: craft paper and a compas, craft a map, and get back home.

Next time I’m going to mine for stone so that I can make stone tools again, and then hit the mines for the supplies I need to make a map. IDK if I’ll turn on the mods while in this village, or after I return home or not. I also might make myself a little shack. And a bed. IDK how tho, because I feel wrong stealing one from the villagers and i dont want to kill their sheep either.

Minecraft Log #6.5

OK im not technically at the allergist(and ok i wasnt at the allergist for the entire time last log either)but i rlly wanted to keep playing today! So here’s what happened:

A LOT. I FOUND A WATER TEMPLE AND DIED, A SUNKEN SHIP WITH A BUTT LOAD OF TREASURE AND FOOD, AND LEARNED HOW TO SMELT IRON AND COPPER!!! I set off and found an island with mountins! I explored! I turned on survival again. I immediately died and lost everything including my map. I desperately tried to make it back but got losy-finallu found a village—and finally realized it was over. I lost everything. Im genuinely devistaed.

Minecraft Log #6

 08/14/26

I’ve decided to stay on peaceful mode for the time being lol. Today I want to keep mining and make lots of torches! I started by exploring a cave for coal, because i really needed it. I finally found a ton of it, and made lots of torches! I used the torches to make a path back to my house. I crafted my first real set of stone tools. Then i went to the stone cliffs and i made a tall pillar of dirt and lit a bunch of torches on it. I made a doc, with ladders and fences. Then i made a boat with a chest. I was all ready to set out on my exploration journey, when i discovered i needed rope and string! So i can tie it to the docs. After looking it up, I need to find cobwebs! In dark caves or abandoned houses. I went back to the caves, where i was able to discover iron for the first time, and gems!!! But i wasnt able to mine the gems :( i didnt havrnt any luck finding cobwebs at all! I customized my character, because I recently cut and dyed my hair, before logging off. 

Next time I obvi want to find cobwebs so i can make string and rope; and then i want to use my boat to explore! I want to find a village and i want to make leather armor!

(Also i watched the new Wifies video! It was good, but I liked Searching for/Destroying a World that doesn’t Exsist” better. But there are a lot of other new minecraft ARGs out there too(even found one with some Yaoi & Yuri lol)and omg that “VexSynicate” email is the real deal! There was a scene in one video where 4 different youtubers(including Wifies!)accidentally met up and they all got an email from Vex!!! I can’t wait to see what happens)

Minecraft Log #5

I’ll keep this one rlly breif: I turned the settings to peaceful to take a break from mobs. I demolished my house and moved to a quick stone structure next to my mines. I found out you cant break a chest without everything fallung out if it(should have been obvious lol)and tossed a lot of stuff.

Next time im going to keel minung for stone until i have enough to make a bunch if tools. Maybe even armor! My overall goal is to get to a place where i feel comfortable really  exploring the world in easy mode.

Also, new Wifies video came out! Havent watched it yet, but im excited! Watched a a bunch of other Minecraft ARG videos in the meantime lol. Also also: had an allergic reaction to my shots today :(
