 Fantasy AU: Rikido Sato is a royal baker

I’m just stuck on fantasy AUS rn lolll!!!

Enjoy!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Rikido Sato loved his job. He was a local baker for his small village. He loved brightening up people’s days with cakes and cookies! The royal family of his kingdom were actually very big patrons of the culinary arts, and supported bakeries of the kingdom above all! After all, it was comman knowledge that the princess had a sweet tooth. Despite that, the Princess was known to be kind to all, and not a spoiled brat like a class Marie Antonette.
Sato had always wanted to meet the Princess. Or at least get her to try one of his treats. What an honor that would be!
___________
“Sato!”
Sato looked up from where he was making a strawberry shortcake. His friend, Izuku Midoryia, had just burst in.
“Midoryia!” Sato put down the cake. “What is it?”
“It’s the Princess!” Izuku said. “She’s here! In the village!”
“She is?!”
“Yeah!”
“Wh-Why?”
“I don’t know! But dude! This is your chance!”
Sato ran to the cooler, to grab one of his best desserts. He didn’t bother to remove his apron as he rushed outside.
...
The Princess sat in the village square. It was always quite hard to see her, you had to be up close. And Sato was having a hard time getting up close. There was a large crowd around her and a clearing. From what Sato could barley see, the Princess was on a make shift throne, probably one that was portable. She was with her guards, however. In the clearing, a bunch of local preformers were putting on a show. The Princess happily clapped form them along with the crowd.
Sato squirmed and squeezed through their crowd, careful of his dessert. he was so close now! He could do it! He could give the princess his-
He suddenly tripped forward into the clearing. The guards spear must’ve stumbled him! The cake flew into the air! Oh no!
Sato looked up. He had not only fallen at the Princess’s feet, his cake had landed and splattered all over her! The guards surrounded him and pointed their spears at him. This was a disaster! He was humiliated, and in danger too!
Suddenly, the Princess stood up. Sato looked at her in awe. She was plump, but that’s was to be expected. However, it didn;t strip her from looking gorgeous(it almost added to it!) she had bright pink hair, and shiny brown eyes. Her gown was a velvet red, with pink ruffles. However it was now covered in cake!
“This man dare to messy the princess?!” A gaurd yelled. “To jail with him!”
“WAIT!!” The princess cried.
Everyone stopped.
Sato looked up in shock as the Princess took a finger and scooped up some of the dessert off of her dress. She ate the cake off her finger, and her eyes lit up.
“What kind of frosting is this?” She asked.
“B-B-Buttercream!” Sato stuttered.
“I love buttercream, yet I have never tasted it like this!” The princess gasped. “I loved it!”
Sato would’ve cried from joy, but currently he was about to cry from fear. SPEARS WERE STILL POINTED AT HIS NECK!
“Sir, what is your name?”
“R-Rikido S-S-Sato...”
The princess smiled with curiosity. “Guard, leave him be.” She said.
The guards backed away, and Sato stood up. “Your majesty I can’t apologize enough I-“
“Escort him home,” the Princess sat.
The guards led him away from the crowd. This was the worst day ever!!
________________
Sato hadn’t baked in days. Izuku Midoryia was currently comforting him at the bakery counter.
“I’m doomed!” Sato cried.
“its not that bad,” Izuku said.
“yes it is! I’m humiliated! No one will ever want my cakes again! I embarrassed the princess! She’ll want me banished! EXECUTED!”
Suddenly, the door chimed. It was a royal guard and another oddly dressed man.
“THEY’RE HERE!” Sato sobbed. “JUST TAKE ME AWAY I ACCEPT MY FATE AND DEATH!”
The gaurd and other person looked confused.
“He’s just really distraught about the other day,” Izuku explained. “How can we help you, is everything ok?”
“Hi!” The other person said. he had blonde hair and looked ridiculous honestly. “I’m the royal jester, Denki Kaminari! The Princess asked me to come share the good news! Worried a gaurd would scare Sato.”
“Whats the news?” Izuku asked.
Sato came up to them, calmer. But still terrified deep down. “What good news can there be after I-“
“The Princess has requested you to come work at the castle as one of her royal pastry chefs!” Denki smiled as he struck a pose.
Sato almost fainted. After that disaster of a day, the princess wanted him to WORK FOR HER?! AS A PASYRY CHEF?! It was a dream come true! But what did he do to deserve it?!
“M-ME?!” Sato screamed.
“Yes!” Denki smiled, not reading the mood. “She would like for you to come at once! You will liven in the palace with the other chefs, and we’ll show you the ropes! You’ll love it!”
“I-I-...”
“Sato this is great!” Izuku smiled. “You should do it!”
“But why does she want me?”
“The Princess has a sweet tooth,” Denki said.
“I know that! But why me, after everything I did?!”
“I’m sure it was an accident. The Princess is odd, but she makes good decisions when it comes to people. I would trust her.”
“Ok....I’ll do it!’
Sato didn’t know Aprons could be so fancy! His new staff apron was a golden colored fabric, and had fancy sticking the read his name. It was sad it was going to get dirty with whatever he baked.
“hey, you must be Rikido Sato!” A young women walked up to him. She had black hair in. A high pony tail.
“That me!” Sato smiled.
“I’m Momo Yayorozu!” The girl shook his hand. “I’m also one of Princess Molly’s pastry chefs!”
“Princess Molly,” Sato repeated. “Thats her name?”
“Yup!”
“And we’re allowed to use it?”
“Well, as long as we say ‘Princess’ before it.”
“Thats....that’s cool.
“I know right?” Now come on, lemme show you everything!”
...
Momo led Sato down the palace stairs into a floor right before the basement and just above the dungeons.
“This entire floor, is dedicated to the cooks and bakers of the castle!” Momo smiled.
She opened a set of double doors, to reveal a giant kitchen. It was the size of a grand ballroom! It was filled with ovens, counters, tables, baking supplies, ingredients, a bakers dream!
“This is incredible!” Sato gasped.
Momo led him to a counter. “This is your station! Your oven and supplies are right over there!” She pointed to an oven and large cabinet.
“I get my own station?!”
“Yup! This is a pretty cool job!”
“Whats the catch?”
“The only one I can think of is the stairs. The staff quarters are on the fifth floor. And after a full day of running around baking, the hike can take a lot out of you.”
Sato nodded. he could deal with that.
“Momo! Is this the newbie?” Another young girl walked up to them.
“yup!” Momo smiled. “Uraraka, this is Rikido Sato.”
Uraraka smiled and shook Sato’s hand.
“Sato,” Momo said. “This is Uraraka! She’s the pastry chef’s delivery girl! She’s the one you’ll hand over the sweets to, and she’ll serve them to Princess Molly.”
Sato nodded. “Its nice to meet you!”
Uraraka smiled. “Well, the day is about to start!” She pointed to a odd machine next to each station. “Princess Molly will request certain desserts from certain chefs. She knows us all pretty well! The order will be deposited through those machines, like a receipt.”
“Cool!”
Two boys walked into the room. One had simple black hair and bangs, while the other had bright red hair. They stretched and yawned.
“You guys slept in!” Momo scolded.
“Dude, I stayed up late helping chef Bakugo with dishes!” The red heads said.
“Don’t act like you didn’t enjoy it!” The black haired one said. “You’re totally smitten with the head chef!’
“NO I’M NOT!”
“Enough!” Momo said. “Thanks to you guys, I have no time to introduce our new chef!”
“We have a new co-worker?” The red head asked.
“Guys, you have your first order!” Uraraka pointed to the machine next to Momo as she ran out. “get to work!”
Princess Molly waited for Uraraka to exit the kitchen. The minute she did, Princess Molly bombarded her waitress questions.
“is he in there? Does he like his station? He is getting along with the chefs-“
“Your majesty!” Uraraka cried. “Calm down!”
“Sorry!”
Princess Molly was very excited. The minute Sato had fallen at her feet, she was smitten with the boy. And the fact he was a baker too? It couldn’t be better! While she hadn’t tasted more than a bite of buttercream, she just knew she needed to taste him! HIS SWEETS! She...She meant his sweets...
Uraraka began to lead Molly back up the stairs. “He didn’t get time to talk with Sero and Kirishima, but he is acquainted with Momo and I.”
“Well I’m glad he at least is getting along with everyone so far?” Molly asked hopefully.
“Yes, he is. He’s a very friendly boy. He seems astounded by his station, and is very excited to get to work.”
“yay!”
They arrived at the top of the stairs, on the castle’s main floor. Molly often request Momo to make her breakfast. She made wonderful chocolate croissant and cinomen rolls. If it wasn’t Momo, then it was the head chef Bakugo. Bakugo was the head chef of the chefs in charge of meals. He made amazing chicken biscuits.
“You majesty,” Uraraka spoke up. “Um...are you going to breakfast?”
“yeah?” Molly said.
“In that?”
Molly looked down. She was so excited to(secretly)check on Sato, she was still in her nightgown! “Crap!” She darted up the stairs. “WE NEED ANE ELEVATOR!!”
_______________
Sato stood at his Station as we watched everyone else bake. He hadn’t received an order yet, it was odd. Currently, the red head(whom he learned was kirishima) was making chocolate truffles. They were for Princess Maisy, who was currently visiting. She was Princess Molly’s sister, but was being married off to the Prince of another kingdom. Momo was making a low-fat ice cream for the queen. The queen might’ve been on a diet, but that didn’t stop her sweet tooth. The black haired boy(this one was Sero) was making a heavily carbonated drink for the king. Rumor has it the King was a caffeine addict and was beginning to dip into kingdom funds to keep it in check. However, Princess Molly had requested nothing yet from anyone.
Sato tapped his fingers nervously. The sound of his machine deep sensing a paper was what crook him back to reality. He looked at it. It was an order! From the Princess!!
“Your first order!” Momo smiled. “Congrats!”
“Oh god,” Sato took a deep breath as he read the paper:
Her Royal Majesty Princess Molly requests the pastry chef Rikido Sato to bake her A slice of Red Velvet cake with Buttercream
Extra Requests: I tasted that buttercream that landed on my dress, Can you make that to top the cake please?
“What did she order?” Kirishima asked.
“Red velvet and Buttercream,” Sato said. “But she wants my homemade recipe.”
“Wow! She’s trying something new! That’s not often!”
Sato ignored him, as he quickly began to make the cake. Sato worked fast and quick.In record time, the cake was out of the oven and finished.
“That looks yummy!” Momo smiled. “I love the frosting flowers!”
Sato had added detailed frosting flowers. He wanted it to be perfect!
“Thanks,” Sat said. “I hope she likes it.”
“About that!” Uraraka walked in after he said that. “This is new....she wants you to come with me!”
The other chefs dropped their tools, and it was silent.
“Is....is that bad?” Sato asked.
“I’m not sure,” Uraraka said. “Its never happened before!”
Sato gulped.
“Well we shouldn’t keep her waiting. Come on!”
...
Uraraka bound up the stairs, without breaking a sweat. She perfectly balanced the cake in its covered tray. Meanwhile Sato struggled to keep up and balance HIMSELF! These stairs were a struggle.
They arrived at a pink door.
“This is her study,” Uraraka said. “She normally asks for things to be delivered here. *I* haven’t even been in her room. Only her personal servants go there.”
Sato nodded. Uraraka knocked on the door, and entered.
Princess Molly sat in a window seat. The window overlooked the castle gardens, and beyond it the kingdom. But the light hit her perfectly. She wasn’t wearing heavy velvet like the day they met. She wore a much lighter dress. It was lavender purple, and trailed on the ground behind her. She stood from the seat and rushed to them.
“Your majesty, this is Rikido Sato.” Uraraka said. “You requested him to come?”
“Yes!” Princess Molly smiled. She clapped her hands happily. “I’m so excited to taste the buttercream again!”
Uraraka lifted the cover off the tray, and the cake was revealed. Princess Molly’s eyes lit up. “This looks so delicious! And so pretty too! I love the little flower.”
Sato blushed, but simply nodded his head. What does he say?! Last time he saw the Princess he had spears pointed to his throat!
The Princess took the tray from Uraraka. Uraraka stayed in place, but the Princes motioned for Sato to follow her. The Princess placed the tray on her desk, and she sat down on the cushioned chair.
“I can’t wait to taste this,” she said. She held a fork out to Sato. “Be dear and feed it too me?”
Sato went red. He was suprised by the request! But, maybe this is normal? Maybe this is just how things are done around here! He wasn’t about to disobey the Princess. He had to make up his big mistake after all!
He took the fork slowly, and scooped up the cake onto his. He carefully fed it to the Princess. The Princess slowly wrapped her lips around the fork. Her lips bounced a little as Sato pulled the fork out. The princess slowly chewed, and went “mmmmmm” as she swollowed.
“mmm!” She smiled happily. “It’s delicious! I knew I would like that buttercream!”
“Th-Thank you your majesty.” Sato bowed his head. He was still blushing intensely. Gosh darn it why was she so pretty?!
“Well go on, I’d love another peice!”
Sato slowly took the fork again, and started to feed her. The Princess was absolutely beautiful, and being so close to her face was so flustering! She would close her eyes after taking each bite, savoring the flavor, Sato realized there was some frosting on the corner of her mouth. Without thinking, he began to wipe it off. He realized he had just TOUCHED THE PRINCESS LIPS!!
“I-I’m so sorry!” He cried. “I didn’t even realize-“
Uraraka  cleared her throat. “Your majesty, Sato has other orders to fill.”
“Oh ok,” Princess Molly nodded. She stood up and smiled at Sato “Thank you so much Sato! That was delicious!”
Uraraka walked back into Princess Molly’s study after dropping Sato back off at the kitchen. Molly was giggling and bouncing around the room.
“He fed me!” She cheered. “He touched my lips! We were so close! AAAAA hehehehehe!”
“Your Majesty!” Uraraka scolded. “What was that?! Are you smitten with your new chef?!”
“How can I not be?” Molly asked. “he’s so cute!”
“Have you forgotten you ENGAGED?!”
Molly stopped, and sadden for a second. Thats right. But she scoffed.
“What does it matter? We’ve been engaged since four and I’ve never met the man! Besides, when he sees me he’ll probably run for the hills.”
“Your Majesty, this is serious! This love for the Pastry chef is forbidden!”
Princess Molly twirled around. “How Romantic!”
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

(TIME SKIP)

Sato had been working at the castle for at least two months now. He had fallen into the routine, and was now a lot more chill. He would still get decently flustered whenever he was around the Princess.
And speaking of the Princess, he and her may or may not be in a....forbidden Romance? After at least four times of litterly feeding the Princess, he had gotten the hint that she liked him. And how could he not like her back? She was silly, beautiful, kind, anything Sato would want in a girl!
However, no one could ever find out!

Sato walked into Princess Molly’s study. Sato now personally brought his confections to the Princess, as they would have time alone together.
“Hello your majesty,” he said.
“Hello Sato,” she smiled.
“I must say, you’ve been ordering a lot of buttercream treats lately.” Sato set down the buttercream chocolate truffles.
“What can I say, I love your recipe!” Molly walked close to him.
“Princess, are you trying to butter me up?”
“HAHAHAA!” Molly laughed loudly. “I hate that I loved that!”
The Princess was a sucker for puns.

Sato threw her down into a dip.
“I’ll never get over how strong you are,” Molly gasped.
“Only for you,” Sato kissed her.

THE END

(I forgot what I was going to do to continue this lol)
