You play as a character who was with them when they first came to space. You were not given a Lion, but you do help with anything you can! You learn to speak alien languages and fix odd machines.

Y/N noticed Lance hadn't been himself lately. He wasn't the goofball Y/N had fallen in love with.
He was distant, cold, and looked miserable.
Y/N wanted to help. To do anything to make Lance feel better.

"Has anyone seen Lance?" Y/N asked the group.
No one responded to Y/G.
"Hello?" Y/G asked again. "Guys!"
Suddenly, the team ripped something out of their ears.
"Y/N?" Hunk asked. "What is it?"
"Why weren't you answering?" Y/N asked.
"We were doing a Voltron bonding activity," Shiro said.
"Th-then why isn't Lance here?" Y/N was very confused
The team tensed up.
"Don't say his name! Or he might come!" Pidge hissed.
"What are you talking about?!" Y/N yelled.
"Lance is annoying, and he'll just ruin everything!" Keith said.
"And because of that, we haven't been able to form Voltron well." Alurra said.
"You....YOU IDIOTS!!" Y/N screamed. "How long have you been doing this?!"
"Doing what?" Shiro asked.
"Leaving him out! No wonder he's been acting so strange! He must be miserable! Did it ever occur to you that MAYBE Voltron isnt being formed because you've been breaking the bond you all have with Lance?!"
Everyone looked down in silence, Ashamed.
"Pathetic," Y/N hissed. "I'm gonna go find Lance."

Y/N looked everyone, but Y/G could not find Lance. Suddenly, Y/G heard a noise from Lance's room.
Y/N opened the door to Lance's room. She was met with a horrific sight. Lance had his neck in a noose, and was about to kick the stool.
"NO!!!" Y/N screamed. Y/G dove forward and grabbed the stool, keeping it in place.
"Y-Y/N?!" Lance gasped. "What are you-"
"I won't let you do this!" Y/N cried. "You don't deserve to feel this way! I want to make it better and I love you too much to let you go!"
Lance stopped. He had never heard something so heartfelt directed at him in his life. He was always told and shown he wasn't worthy of love.
He made his choice.
Lance slipped out of the noose. He knelt down next ti Y/N.
"Lance!" Y/N sobbed and hugged Lance tight. "Please! Never ever do that again! Please! Please! Noo....." Y/G was hysterical.
Lance began to sob too. "I'm sorry, I'm so so so sorry..."
"Why are you sorry?! I'm the one who's sorry! I didn't help you in time! You could've died!"
"Ut wasn't you!" Lance said. "You did nothing wrong! It was everyone else! They've-"
WAAAAA! I'M SO SORRY!!!!WAAAhahaha!" Y/N was still screaming in tears.
The door burst open and the team ran in.
"Whats going on?" Shiro asked.
"Go away!!" Y/N sobbed. "Your just going to hurt him more!"
"What are you-"
"LEAVE!!!"
"Ok! Ok!" The others backed away and closed the door.
"Y/N-"
"NO! I won't let them anywhere near you!" Y/N hugged Lance tighter.
"Y/N, do you love me?" Lance asked.
Y/N sniffled. "More than anything in the galaxy! I just want to protect you!"
Lance tilted Y/N's wet face to his and brought their lips together.
"The feeling is mutual," Lance smiled.
