Jessica was having a rough day. She just woke up and everything felt wrong. And everything seemed to go wrong too! First, all her uniforms were wrinkled. Then she was almost late for class! She had to rush all the way to the UA school building getting hot and sweaty, and barely made it on time. And due to the rush she had no time to eat breakfast or even grab a drink of water before class started. And class wasn’t any better. They were beginning. A new unit of lessons, and she was not in the mood for unfamiliarity. Mr. Aizawa called on her to answer a question, and she was scolded when she did not answer correctly. During Lunch all her friends in Class 1-A had a school project to work on so she had to sit alone. And they weren’t even serving anything she could eat today. After school Jessica tried to take a breather and draw in her sketchbook. BUT EVEN THAT COULDN’T GO WELL! She kept messing up her drawing, wasting pages in her sketchbook. She tried to draw something else, but just wasted her time with Artist Block. Jessica put her head in her hands and tried to take a few deep breaths. It seemed nothing could fix today!
“Hey Jess!” Kirishima walked up to Jessica as she sat on the couch.
Of course Jessica’s crush had to show up when she was in such a state. Jessica forced a smile and wiped her tears. “Hi Kirishima!” She said. “How was your day?”
Kirishima shrugged. “The new Unit seems kinda boring. But Hero training was great today! You?”
“Uhm, it was an ok day.” Jessica lied.
“Are you ok?”
“Yeah of course!” Jessica lied on command.
Kirishima made a weird face, and sat next to Jessica on the couch.
“Whats wrong.” He demanded to know.
“What are you talking about?” Jessica asked. She knew what he was talking about.
“Did you have a bad day?”
“I…I mean it wasn’t the best day. No big deal though-“
“It isn’t a little deal either!” Kirishima insisted.
“Kirishima, its fine.”
“Do you wanna talk about it?”
“I don’t wanna bother you.”
“You won’t!” Kirishima cried out. “Please, talk to me?”
Jessica sighed. She told Kirishima all about her day. About how she woke up feeling wrong, how class frustrated her, and how she couldn’t seem to draw or calm down. Kirishima listened calmly and carefully. He let Jessica talk, and didn’t call attention to the little tears that fell.
“I’m sorry you had a bad day,” Kirishima said. “Anything I can do to cheer you up?”
Jessica shrugged. “I just wanna go back to bed…”
“Then lets get you to bed!” Kirishima cheered. He lifted Jessica up off the couch, and led her to her dorm.
They went inside Jessica’s dorm. Kirishima helped Jessica out of her jacket and shoes, and then tucked her into bed. He left a soft lamp on, and gave her a forehead kiss! Jessica gasped, then blushed.
“I’ll wake you when its dinner time. Baku-Bro is cooking tonight!” He grinned, and left Jessica be.
Jessica went to sleep, happy that Kirishima helped her with her bad day….and he even kissed her!!!
