Minecraft Log #16

I made the decision to do some off camera mining, and it was eventful.

I FINALLY MADE THE MAP!!! I CAN MAKE THE JOURNEY BACK HOME!!!! After a last minute mining session(found redstone, gold, and diamonds!) i set off back home! I went southwest, and found my original shipwreck!!! With all my old stuff! I had no idea it was still there! I was clearly going in the right direction!

Or not. Because I rowed in my boat for HOURS! Nothing looked familiar! I crafted a new cartography table to expand my map. BIG MISTAKE. IT CLEARED MY MAP!!!!! WTF?!?!!!! WHY WOULD IT EVEN DO THAT?!?!!!?!!!!!!! In a desperate attempt to find my way back to the village, i searched for open ocean. I failed. Everywhere I looked, barely loaded chunks revealed I had been boxed in by unknown lands. 

I had no other choice.

I drowned myself.

Once again, I have failed to find my way home. I am Odyseus, on a fruitless Odyssey to Ithica. And I am yet to find any hope.

But on the plus side, I wasnt an IDIOT and only packed the basics! So all my valuables are still safe here in the village at respawn :) I also left all the stuff in a chest on the boat(except my copper armor, i forgot to take it off lol)as well a map renamed "TURN BACK!!!" for if I ever come across it again.

NEW GOAL: I spotted ANOTHER VILLAGE not far from the one im in! I'm going to explore it! And then I want to build another house further away from the village. Im sick if villagers trying to get in my house!
