Sander Sides INTRULOGICAL oneshot — Love Potion Prank

LOL I forgot about this draft haha!

Inspired by this thingy:

(Credit in Photo)

There were a few routes I could have taken with an Intrulogical Love Potion AU, but this is the one I chose lol. I hope u like it lol

Some Notes:

- I didn't make Janus lie("lie")every other line, I was tired.

- No I do NOT think Roman is stuck up or self-obsessed. This was just too funny to not write LMAO

- The Love Potion does NOT affect Thomas in anyway. It should, but it doesn't--Because I said so lmao!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Remus Sanders—Intrusive Thoughts—let out a wild laugh, as pink fog and explosions filled the room. The potion bottle in Remus was now filled with a Love Potion. The Duke, the Dark Prince of Creativity, making a Love Potion? Yes, one would be suspicious. And rightfully so! After all, nothing good could come from Remus and a Strange Magic Potion put together.
"Remus," Janus Sanders—Deceit—popped his head into Remus Room. He coughed a bit on all the pink fog. "What are you up to now?"
"A Love Potion!" Remus gave Janus a toothy smile, which would have been nerving to anyone else.
"Why on Earth would you create that?"
"Why not?"
"Allow me to rephrase. Why would YOU create that?"
"Well, I was thinking about causing some chaos today!" Remus giggled. "So I was gonna slip the Light Sides the potion!"
"And just how are you going to do that?" Janus raised an eyebrow. "They would never let you near their food, let alone drinks."
"Thats why I'm not going to put it in those," Remus laughed wildly. "I'm going to put it in their dish soap!"
"...Aren't you allergic to dish soap?"
"Ah fair point! Thats why I stole these!"
Remus held up his hands, which now were covered by bright yellow gloves. Janus looked down at his own hands, scaly and glossy. Remus had snatched his gloves!
"Remus!" Janus scolded. He reached out to try and take them back.
Remus avoided his hands. He grabbed his Love Potion and and began to vanish--he would reappear on the Light Side.
"Dammit Remus, those aren't for dish washing!" Janus shouted.
"Tell that to Virgil!" Remus cackled.
Remus appeared in the Light Sides' kitchen. Patton Sanders—Morality—who had been standing at the sink, cried out in surprise. A few soapy suds flew about.
"Well hello there, Pussy Padre!" Remus grinned.
"P-Please don't call me that." Patton said, recovering from the scare.
Remus looked at the sink, which was full of soapy water and dirty dishes. Perfect!
"Ah, doing the dishes!" Remus said. "Lemme help!"
Patton rose an eyebrow. "What's the catch...?"
"No Catch! Look, I stole Janus's gloves! So now I won't get a gross rash."
"Well okay...but just the plates! I won't let you wash anything sharp."
"Oki Doki, Dildo Daddy!"
Patton sighed.
Remus grinned his most disturbing grin as he and Patton washed. It made Patton avoid looking at him, which gave Remus the opportunity to coat the dishes with his Love Potion. Patton really was trying to keep everyone safe by keeping Remus away from the sharp silverware--But he unknowingly let the Dark Side coat every surface they would eat on with his Pink Colored Poison.
Soon enough. the dishes were cleaned and dried, tucked away in the cabinets. Patton wiped his hands with a towel and Remus took off Janus's gloves. Patton thanked Remus for his help, and said he was surprised it went so well. Remus felt bad for a second, before he remembered how hilarious this Love Potion Prank would be. His guilt washed away into a wide grin. He dismissed Patton in classic 'Intrusive Thought' fashion, and disappeared back to the Dark Sides.
Where Janus promptly screamed at him for ruining his gloves.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Remus sat at the Dark Side Dining Room Table the next morning. His feet were kicked up on the table, his shoes digging into the waffles that were on his plate. In his broken morning mug was Octopus Ink that he had boiled. He drank it like a Cup-of-Joe. He had a giddy smile on his face, excited for the results of his mischief yesterday.
Janus walked in in his night robe, already holding a glass of wine. He joined Remus by the table, not phased by the Duke's morning routine in the slightest.
"Good Morning Janny!" Remus said.
"Bad Morning, Remus." Janus said in his lying manner. It would fade a bit as he woke up. "How did the Love Potion go?"
"We'll find out today! They're all probably eating breakfast now."
“How long does your Love Potion even last?” Janus asked. “After all, we can’t have Logan out of commission for very long. It’s dangerous—“

Just as the Light Side’s name was mentioned, Logan Sanders—Logic—slammed the doors to the Dark Side open. He was catching his breath, as if he had been running. Strange, because Logan would normally just sink to the Dark Sides. He began to march up to the two Dark Sides at the table.
“Uh Oh,” Janus smirked. “Looks like Logan is here too scold you for your little Potion.”
“Oh shut up!” Remus glared.
“Should have known the Potion wouldn’t work on Logan—“

Logan made it to the Table. He grabbed Remus’s face in his hands and stared intensely at him. Hey didn’t give Remus a chance to say anything before he smashed his lips onto the Duke’s. Remus made a surprised sound, before happily kissing back. His tongue dove inside Logan’s mouth, and the Logical side easily let him in.
“Well, this is…unexpected.” Janus raised an eyebrow. He made a strange face, as if he was trying to figure something out.
But what was there to figure out? Logan had obviously been affected by Remus’s Love Potion! And Remus was loving it. Eventually the two did separate for air, which is when Janus spoke up.
“Logan, please don’t say something.” Janus requested. “You haven’t said a word. You simply arrived and kissed Remus.”
Logan didn’t respond, only hugged Remus and tucked himself into the Dark Side’s chest. He had a blissful smile on his face.
Remus giggled happily. Admittedly he had a thing for the Logical Side. And while he had made the Love Potion to cause chaos for everyone, the fact that Logan’s reaction was to love Remus made the Duke quite pleased. He was definitely gonna enjoy this for as long as it lasted.
Janus sighed. “Whatever, have your fun Remus.” Janus walked off to get dressed. “Just…remember its just the potion.” It was an accurate point, but Janus sounded unsure when he said it.
“Yeah! Yeah!” Remus waved him off. “Whatever! I’m just gonna enjoy having this Nerd in my lap!”
Logan giggled.

It was around noon when Thomas summoned all the Sides to him. Remus and Logan had apparently been doing…certain activities, because they arrived frazzled and disheveled. But they quickly recovered. Remus looked out on the living room, to witness the affects of his love Potion. His brother Roman—Light Creativity—was fawning over himself in a mirror. Of course he would fall in love with himself. Patton was smiling wide as he shouted compliments and pick up lines at Virgil—Anxiety—who hid his red blushing face behind his hands. Janus smirked a bit, trying hard to hide his amusement. Thomas stood in the middle of the room, arms crossed.

“What is this.” Thomas demanded to know.
“Why, I don’t see anything wrong!” Janus laughed.
“Remus!” Thomas shouted. “Whaat did you do?! Why is everyone acting weird? Why is Logan clinging to you?”
Remus laughed. “Ok Ok, I sneaked a Love Potion I made into the soap while washing the Light Sides dishes.” He admitted.
“What?! WHY?!”
“Because it’s hilarious!”

“No its not—“
“Hold on one moment Thomas,” Janus interrupted. “I’m beginning to notice something strange here…”
“BEGINING TO?!” Thomas shouted.
“Hush Thomas!” Janus scolded.

Janus began to turn to each Light Side under the influence of the Potion.
“Patton, what did you eat for breakfast?” Janus asked.
“I had pancakes with chocolate syrup.” Patton said. “But they weren’t as sweet as my beautiful Virgil!”
Virgil blushed heavily at the compliment.
“And Virgil, what did you eat this morning?” Janus asked.
“I had toast…” He said. “But it doesn’t, uhm, butter me up like Patton does.”
Patton gasped. “Awww baby! You made a pun!”
“Logan, what did you eat for Breakfast?” Janus asked.
“I ate Crofters this morning.” Logan answered. “I love crofters, but I love Remus more—“
“Did you just, eat it out of the jar?”
“Yes.”

Janus smirked. “Logan isn’t under the Love Potion.” He accused.
“WHAT?!” Remus and Thomas gasped.
“Thats impossible,” Thomas said.
“Is it?” Janus turned to Remus. “Remus, you said you only washed the plates, correct?”
“Yeah,” Remus said. “Patton wouldn’t let me touch any of the silverware.”
“Logan ate crofters from the jar with a spoon. He never even touched a plate this morning. He’s been faking it this entire time.”
“Logan, is this…true?”

Logan began to frown sadly, and removed himself from holding onto Remus.
“Yes, It is true.” Logan admitted.
“Why the FUCK would you fake being on love with me?!” Remus yelled, surprisingly genuine.
“I saw everyone else being affected by the Love Potion, and saw it as my chance to show you how I feel about you.” Logan blushed. “I am sorry I wasn’t honest.”
“Wait, are you saying you…love me?”
Logan nodded.
“AWWWW YOU FUCKING NERD!” Remus grinned and tackled Logan into a hug.

“This is cute, but…” Thomas spoke up. “Can we work on turning the others back now?”

THE END

Lol I hope you all liked it hahah!

VLD SHKLANCE oneshot -- "Prince in Peril" parody

 I loved this short oneshot called "Prince in Peril" by Takara_Phoenix on AO3 lol. I wanted to write my own take on it lol :)))

I really just wanted more OOC Lance lol

OK LETS GOOOO!!!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
When Prince Lance of Altea was lost in the enchanted mountins, he thought to himself 'Better than always being with those stupidly handsome knights'
When Prince Lance of Altea ran out of food, he thought to himself 'Better than spotting Shiro and Keith kissing behind the stables'
When Prince Lance of Altea was captured by a Dragon, he thought to himself 'Better than longing for something I could never have'.
For Prince Lance, anything was better than staying in Altea with a broken heart. Apparently that included being kidnapped by a Dragon and added to its treasure hoard. It wasn't so bad! Sure, the golden cage was small, but he was still given food and water. And yeah it definitely dangled really really high off the ground, which had Lance fearfully cry every few hours. He didn't like heights like this. But at least bellow him was a bunch of shiny treasures, beautiful to gaze at! The Dragon's cave was very far away and hidden, and he guarded it with dedication. But that just left Lance a lot of peaceful quiet to think about what would happen to him.
Maybe the Dragon was actually cursed, and they would fall in love and she'd be turned back into a beautiful Princess! Or maybe, a handsome Knight would rescue him. And he'd slay the Dragon, and carry him off to his kingdom and they'd live happily ever after!
Lance sighed to himself. Who was he kidding? Without Shiro and Keith, he would never live happily ever after.
Takashi Shirogane and Keith Kogane were the bravest Knights in all of Altea. And so King Alfor assigned them as Prince Lance's personal Guards. Lance felt very upset and at first--these where the best knights in the Kingdom! Surely they would rather be off on magical quests and fighting epic battles, rather than by a Prince's side just making sure he woke up on time in the morning.
And yet, they would always give him the softest of smiles. Lance couldn't sense any annoyance from them when they did menial tasks for him--not even from Keith, who spent every moment he wasn't with Lance training. They seemed quite content in their positions as Lance's knights. Lance soon relaxed around them, and began to feel much different feelings around them. He felt warm inside whenever he woke up to Shiro at his bedside. His heart fluttered whenever Keith would get extra protective when guests were at the palace. He would blush whenever the two knights complimented him. He loved them so dearly.
But to Shiro and Keith, Lance was just the Prince. They were just doing their jobs as his Knights. They loved each other so much, and Lance would never be able to fit into that. They didn't need him in their relationship. It broke Lance's heart to be around them so much, those soft smiles brought him pain when they once brought joy. Lance would dismiss his Knights any chance he got. He would send them on adventures and quests, in hopes they would realize that they had so much better thing to do and resign. But nothing worked. They would always return to him, no matter what.
Finally it all became too much, and Lance decided if he couldn't send his Knights away then he would run away. His sister Alurra was next in line for the throne anyway, and no one would care if he left. So he garnered supplies and ran away into the enchanted mountains. He wasn't planning to lose his map and get lost. He wasn't planning to lose some of his food to a wild animal and run out sooner. And he certainly wasn't planning to get captured by a dragon!
But what happened happened. Nothing he could do now--
There was a commotion outside the cave, and the Dragon perked up from its rest. He snorted some smoke angrily, and stomped outside. It was clearly threatened, was someone trying to Slay the Dragon rescue Lance?! Lance hoped so! Lance tried to look out past the mouth of the cave--he was right across from the top of it. He was really high up, Lance looked down and oh god he was really really high up. His fear of heights kicked in again and he curled into a ball, crying.
The Knights Takashi Shirogane and Keith Kogane were on what was the most important quest in thier entire lives: Finding and Saving Prince Lance of Altea.
The two knights had entered his bedroom one morning, to find the Prince was gone! His room was a mess, which was strange because Lance normally kept his room decently clean. And when it wasn't, a servant cleaned it. But the drawers of his dresser were on the ground, and clothes were flown around everywhere. And the window was wide open. There was clearly a struggle, Lance would have never left his room in such a condition. He must have been taken! The two Knights alerted the king immediately, and declared they would find the Prince.
Keith and Shiro cared for Prince Lance a lot more than they probably should have. The Prince was known far and wide to be very beautiful, and Shiro and Keith would admire him from afar just as the rest of the kingdom did. However they were approached by King Alfor himself and asked to guard the precious Prince as personal guards. Shiro and Keith of course accepted. They would do anything to be close to the handsome Prince, even if that meant fetching the Prince a glass of water instead of out in the world fighting monsters. Soon they began to do more than just admire the Prince for his grace and beauty. He was so kind to everyone, and made sure his sister didn't stress to much about her future as Queen. He would tell Shiro and Keith jokes, and even managed to make Keith laugh a few times! They fell deeply in love with the Prince. But to Prince Lance, they were just Knights. It was very inappropriate to be feeling such things for him, so they tired their hardest to hide such emotions. They didn't want King Alfor to execute them anytime soon, thank you!
But things suddenly changed with Lance. He would no longer tell them jokes, or smile at them. He would send them off to do the simplest of things, and even sent them away from the kingdom on quests! Of course they did what he asked, desperate to earn his praise and respect that they had somehow lost. But Prince Lance was taken before they could. The two Knights had to to rescue him, and maybe then he would smile at the two again.
...
Shiro and Keith tracked through the Enchanted Mountins, until they discovered the cave in which Lance was being held captive.
"Keith, that's a dragon's cave." Shiro said.
"The Dragon must of taken Lance for its hoard," Keith growled. "Like some sort of prize."
"We can't just sneak in and grab Lance," Shiro said. "The Dragon is probably gaurding him. We're gonna have to slay the Dragon first."
Keith nodded.
Shiro pulled out his shield while Keith his sword. Keith smacked Shiro's sheild with his weapon, making noise to lure out the Dragon. It worked, and the Dragon came stomping out of the cave. It was big, with bright orange scales and sharp claws.
The Dragon stared down at them, and reared its head back with a big breath. Keith ran around the left while Shiro raised is sheild. Fire spilled from the Dragon's mouth. Shiro pushed against it, to make an advance on the Dragon. Keith lept at the Dragon with his sword, and stabbed in in the side. Using the momentum, he swung him self up onto the drgaon's back, pushing the sword deeper in before yanking it out. The Dragon screeched, and tried to throw Keith off of it. But Keith stabbed his sword into its back, and held onto it to keep stable. Shiro attacked from below, hitting the Dragon's chest with his sheild. The dragon stumbled back a bit, giving Keith the chance to rush farther up its back and to its neck. The dragon lifted its neck again to blow more fire, but Keith reached down and used his sword to slit its neck. Oozing green dragon blood poured out, and the Dragon roared. Shiro and Keith jumped out of the way as it collasped to the ground, slayed.
Keith and Shiro had no time to catch their breath, before running into the cave to find Lance.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

The Dragon's cave was very big, with a hilltop of gold and treasure. And even higher above it, was a gold cage dangling from the ceiling of the cave. Inside was Prince Lance, curled in on himself. The Prince did not like heights.
"Your Highness!" Keith called up to him.
Lance gasped and lifted his head. He wiped his tears and held onto the bars of the cage. "What are you doing here?" he asked.
"We're here to rescue you, your highness." Shiro said. "We've defeated the Dragon that kidnapped you!"
"I wasn't kidnapped, I ran away." Lance grumbled a bit, but it was hard for him to sound annoyed when he was so high up.
"You ran to a Dragon?" Keith asked.
"N-No, this is just a...uh, Setback!" Lance said.

"My Prince, why did you run away?" Shiro asked.
Lance looked sad, and scared. He wasn't looking at them.
"Did someone hurt you?" Keith asked. "Tell me who, I'll kill them I swear--"
"N-No one hurt me." Lance said quietly.
"My Prince, please look at us." Shiro pleaded.
Lance shook his head. "I can't. You're down there, and I'm...I'm u-up..."

Shiro and Keith remembered Lance's fear of heights. Keith shot an arrow at the cage's lock, breaking it. The door to the cage swung open, and the cage rocked. Lance tumbled out of it, screaming from the freefall. Shiro caught him in his arms. The Prince stopped screaming, but was crying into his chest griping it tightly. Keith and Shiro calmed him down after a bit, and set him down.
"My Prince, why did you run away?" Keith asked.
Lance still wouldn't look at them.
"Is...Is it us?" Shiro asked.
Lance looked up at them, shocked. "What?"
"Is it us? Did you run away from us?"
"You seem upset whenever we're around you now," Keith added. "Did we....do something?"
"What? No! I just..." Lance groaned, and sat down. He put his head in his hands.

"You guys are the bravest and strongest knights, ever!" the Prince said. "And yet, you're stuck with me. You should be out in the world. Fighting monsters and saving beautiful princess! I tried to send you on a bunch of quests so you'd realize that, and resign. You guys deserve so much better than serving a Prince who is hopelessly in Love with you..."
"But we did just fight a monster." Keith said.
Lance looked up at them.
"And we saved the most beautiful Prince in the world." Shiro said.
Lance blushed.
"I think all thats left is a true love's kiss, and the fairytale is complete." Keith smirked.
The two knights kissed the Prince on the cheeks.
"W-Wait!" The Prince gasped You-You guys...?"

Shiro lifted his Prince into his arms, and Keith saddled up the horses.
"We should get you back to the Kingdom now, your majesty." Shiro smiled.
Lance blushed and held on tightly.

VLD SHANCE / LANGST Oneshot -- "Sir~"

Listen, I'll always be a Klance(Keith/Lance)shipper, OTP through and Through. And Lancelot(Lance/Lotor)? AH! So good, second best! And Shklance(Shiro/Keith/Lance) will always be my fav OT3.

But gosh darn it, I'm a SUCKER for Shance(Shiro/Lance)!! So when I saw this:

I was hooked like a fish.

Note: Probably takes place somewhere in the first season(WOW FLASHBACKS LMAOOOO)

OK LETS GOOOO!!!!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Shiro had a crush on Lance. Lance was sure of it.
"I think you're reading too much into it," Hunk would say.
"Your delusional...and desperate." Pidge would scoff.
"Don't fuck my brother." Keith would hiss.
And Lance had considered it of course. Maybe he was just really desperate? Maybe he was seeing things that weren't there? Lance would never want to jump to conclusions on something like this. Shiro was his friend, his hero! But most importantly Shiro was his leader. And he was a good one too, would never compromise Voltron by dating someone he was supposed to order around. Plus, there's no way someone like Shiro would ever fall in love with someone like Lance.
Yet, Lance could see things that made him think otherwise. The way Shiro would scold him for flirting didn't feel like it was motivated by professionalism. Lance would throw a line at Alurra, of course she would just roll her eyes. Shiro wouldn't say "Lance, focus on the mission. ". Instead Shiro would say "Lance, eyes on me...I'm explaining the mission right now." That small pause in between tipped Lance off that he didn't scold Lance for professionalism. The language used, the small blush, the pause? He scolded Lance out of jealousy. And it happened a lot, so it couldn't just be a coincidence!
That wasn't all. Shiro would come up to Lance each time after training, and ask him for help with his aim. Shiro did not use a gun of any-kind. But he would claim Lance had good aim as their sharpshooter, and that he wanted to learn how to use a gun. In case something happened to his Galra arm while the Black Paladin Bayard was still lost. Lance was happy to oblige. He would spend at least an extra hour each day in the training room with Shiro, and he would slowly improve. But one day, he spotted Shiro gun training on his own. He was hitting every target perfectly, better than Lance had ever seen him. Lance facepalmed to himself. Of course Shiro would know how to use a gun, he worked for the Garrison for god's sake! Lance felt like an idiot, Shiro was probably playing a joke on him with all this...But Shiro wasn't the kind of person to do something like that. So why else would he lie about his skills unless....he wanted to spend more time with Lance!
Lance just knew Shiro had to have a crush on him. And boy, was Lance all for it! Someone as handsome and strong as Shiro? How could he refuse?
__________________________________
It was around the end of a debriefing meeting when things went a bit wrong. Everything was normal! Pidge was being a smartass, Keith was brooding, Hunk was actually Listening, and Lance was fliritng a bit with Alurra; all while Shiro explained the mission details.
"Does everyone understand?" Shiro asked.
The team voiced their agreement, except for Keith who grumbled a bit.
"I still don't see why I can't just go in a take them out." Keith said.
"Because its not safe." Shiro insisted. "Keith you will not engage any enemies, do you understand?"
"Yes sir."
"Good. Does everyone else understand?"
"Yup," Pidge said.
Hunk hummed and nodded.
Lance chuckled and smirked. "In the words of Keith over there, Yes Sir~"
It had come out so smooth a seductive, Lance's eyes lidded and lips wet from his lounge. And directed exactly at Shiro. Lance didn't realize what he had done! Crap it just slipped out! Well, no going back now, he had to run with it!
Shiro's face lit up completely red. He stood still blushing heavily for a movement, before hiding his face in his hands. Pidge was laughing wildly and Hunk shook his head in second-hand embarrassment.
Keith stood up sputtering.
"Lance!" Keith scolded. "What the hell?!"
"Oh, when Keith calls Shiro sir its professional. But when I do it--"
"You know exactly what you just did!"
"What are you talking about?" Lance scoffed.
Keith just pointed at Shiro, who was flustered and bluhsing in the corner. How had he ended up there? No matter, Lance was stuck with that point. Lance began to blush a bit too, but didn't let it show too much
"Heh, Sorry Shiro." Lance spoke up, approaching Shiro's flustered frame. "It just kinda slipped out!" he tried to laugh it off.
Shiro didn't show his face from his hands. He was still bluhsing, but now he looked....distressed.
Lance's stomach sank. He thought Shiro liked him, and that he was just flustered a normal amount! But it seemed he had made Shiro...uncomfortable. Lance would never want to do that! He really did read into it all wrong. Shiro didn't have a crush on him! God why would he? Lance was Lance--Playboy goofball who apparently can't take a hint.
"Uhm..I-I'm sorry." Lance said. "Won't happen again." He gave Shiro an awkward pat on the back and left the room.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Lance only saw Shiro and the rest of the team again when it was time for the mission. He was having trouble keeping his lighthearted goofball act up right now, but he was managing. It was a quick infiltration method, with Shiro, Pidge, and Lance inside the ship while Hunk and Keith stayed in their lions as backup if needed. Shiro ha switched himself out for Keith, not trusting Keith to keep his temper in check. So great, now Lance had to be in the ship with Shiro. Could this get any worse?

Apparently it could because they were caught and now under heavy fire. Pidge had done what she needed to do with her hacking and tech skills, and they were now covering her as they ran back to the Lions. Shiro used his shield to cover Pidge while Lance was on the offensive shooting at the enemy. Shiro got Pidge to her Lion, and Lance and Shiro were about to split up their own when Lance was hit.

Lance stumbled to the ground, leg bleeding. Lance kept his gun raised, but he was about to be killed i seconds flat.
"Lance!" Shiro cried out. He dove in just in time to activated his shield in front of Lance. "Lance. are you ok?!"
Lance weakly nodded. He held out his bayward to Shiro. "Trade! Use the gun and take them out! I'll activate my sheild now."
"What? No!" Shiro gasped. "Lance I can't shoot--"
"Drop the act Shiro! I see you in the training room, I know you can shoot!"
Shiro blanked.
"Take the gun, and go!"
Shiro nodded, and they switched out.

Lance braced himself as the sheild was peppered with bullets and lasers. Shiro ran ahead into the fray with the gun. He rapid fire took out the enemies and used his hand to slice any that came too close. Lance thought he looked aboslutly beautiful. Gosh, how could he have every thought someone like Shiro would find interest in him. Maybe it was better if his leg bled out here, he wouldn't burden Shiro was his feelings that way.

Lance was so out of it he didn't notice when Shiro had gotten rid of all the bad guys rushed over to him.
"Lance! Lance are you ok?!" Shiro's voice sounded kinda far away. "Oh my god your leg!"
"Oh, that. Heh," Lance chuckled. "Its cool."
"What?! Lance no, we need to get you to a healing pod!"
"Nah, just leave me here. I'll be good."
"Lance no, you're going to die--"
"Woo!"
"What?!--Nevermind, just stay still." Shiro tried to lift Lance into his arms.
Lance squirmed and pushed against Shiro. "Stop, just leave me here! You won't have to deal with me that way!"
"Lance what are you talking about?" Shiro ignored Lance's protests and held Lance in his arms.

Shiro rushed to the Black Lion, they'd grab the Blue Lion behind them. He made it into his cockpit with Lance still in his arms.
"You're such an idiot to take me with you," Lance said.
"Lance thats not true," Shiro said. "What made you think--"
"And to think I thought you liked me."
"Of course I like you--"
"No, like me. I'm such an idiot."
Shiro stayed silent.
"And then I...oh god I made you so upset. I'm so sorry."
"Lance no! You..."
"It was so stupid to think someone as amazing as you could like me too..." Lance passed out.

_________________________

Lance awoke to the feeling of falling. It was becoming a familer feeling, with how many time he's been stuck in the healing pods. He vaguely feels arms catch him, they're strong and warm. He looked up at Shiro, who caught him. Everything comes back to him, getting hurt, feeling horrible and just wanting to die, and...confessing to Shiro.
He pushes Shiro away quickly. "I'm so sorry." he says, eyes glued to the floor.
"Lance."
"I can't beleive I said all the shit!"
"Lance--"
"Oh god I really do wish you just left me there!"
"LANCE!" Shiro yelled.
Lance stopped talking, and finally looked up at Shiro.

Shiro looked scared, past tears dried upon his cheeks. He rushed to Lance and gave him a tight hug.
"Never, Never say that again." Shiro said sternly.
"B-But Shiro," Lance gasped. "I...I said all those things--"
"You were right."
"What?"
"You were right, I do like you. A lot more than I should." The hug got tighter.
"You...you really like me?"
"Yes. I couldn't live with myself if you died, let alone if I left you to."
Lance finally wrapped his arms around Shiro too.

It seemed everything had worked out in the end. And even as he recovered from so many emotions and a near-death injury, one thought came to his mind...

I knew it!

VLD LANGST oneshot — Pull an “Iroh”

 Ok I never technically watched ATLA(you dont wanna know), but this prompt was too much fun NOT to do!

Ok lets GOOOOOOOO!!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Lance would never want to invalidate Shiro. The man had been captured by the Galra, aleins he didn’t know even existed! He was tortured by them, forced to kill for his life.
He lost his arm, and had it replaced by a robotic weapon. And all over the cource of a year! Shiro had been through hell, and Lance would never invalidate that.
But as Lance stood in the center of the Galran Arena with his fists dripping blood and bruises, looking down at his dead opponent with not a single sweat upon his own skin, he had one thought in relation to Shiro: Pussy.
Lance shook his head, trying to rid himself of the thought. That was so insensitive what the hell?!
Galra Gaurds finally entered the Arena to pull the slaughtered alein away, and Lance looked away. He instead looked up at the Arena, which was filled with cheering crowds. Galra or not, Lance was a sucker for attention. He smiled and waved at the crowd. He winked at a few girls, who swooned at the sight of him. The announcer hyped up the crowd even more, declaring the next round. Lance took his position and another fight began.
There was probably a time where Lance felt bad about what he was doing. He thinks it was when he was first captured, how long ago was that anyway? A Deca-Phoeb for sure, maybe two. Lance felt really horrible about competing in the arena, as much as anyone would! Being kidnapped by the genocidal Galra and forced to kill or be killed for their entertainment?! Talk about messed up. He remembered being terrified for his life. And even when he did survive and kill his opponent, he felt a whole new kind of terrified at the fact he had killed an innocent prisoner just like himself. But as the Phoebs(at least he assumed it was months, sure felt like it)passed, Lance grew used to it. He assumed that is was probably what Shiro felt like. Just get it over with, Lance would tell himself. But then even more months past, and Lance was beginning to think he had long past whatever Shiro felt during his time in the ring.
A Long time had passed since Lance's initial capture. He had been fighting in the ring for a very long time, and had become a crowd favorite. When the Galra realized this, they decided they didn't want him to turn out like Shiro had. They could have made Shiro great, an unstoppable force. But he didn't realize his own potential and ran away. They were committed to not make the same mistake twice. So one day after his rounds in the Arena they took him aside.
Lance was led through the ship by two Galran guards. They didn't place him in cuffs, or even grab his arms roughly. They simply stood close to him on either side. Lance was suspicious, and considered using this as a chance to escape. But if just two lowly guards were acting different towards him, a paladin of Voltron, there had to be something going on he didn't know about. He decided to play it safe and just let them take him where ever. They passed the entrance to the prisons and cells, and Lance was led down a much different one. He often saw the guards go down this hall, and even commanders! Lance stayed silent though.
They finally approached a door, and they shoved Lance inside. The room wasn't as dark as the rest of the ship. It was made of a lighter purple (almost pink) tile, and it seemed the florescent purple lights had been brightened. It was quiet and empty. Lance had been tortured a bit at the beginning of his imprisonment, and chills went down his back as he worried it was about to happen again.  But then two female Galran servants came in, and started to clean him. They undressed him and he received his first shower since he arrived. He could see months worth of dirt and blood flow down the drain. Lance tried to enjoy the warm water and soft soap, but he couldn't help but wonder why he was receiving it.
Lance was dressed in clean clothes(Still the normal Prison Wear, but it clean)and shoved back out to the original two guards.
They kept leading him down the halls further into ship, until they arrived in the largest dining room Lance had ever seen in his life. The Castle Ship's Dining room was big, but not this big! The table was filled with different dishes, all of which Lance had never seen before let alone tasted. But just looking at his made him drool. But only for a second because he was more interested in the High Ranking Galra who feasted among the table. They looked at him for a moment before continuing their meal. What was going on? Was Lance gonna be killed and served as the main cource or something? Why was he in the Galra's dining room?!
The situation went from confusing to horrifyingly baffling as Zarkon himself entered and took his seat at the head of the table. The others stood and sauluted him with a 'Verpid Sa', before resuming their meals. Zarkon stared Lance down and Lance wondered if he was looking into his soul for a moment. But then Lance was shoved into a chair right next to Zarkon! Lance sent a quick prayer to his family and friends as he was sure this was the end for him.
"So, you are the Blue Paladin of Voltron." Zarkon spoke to him. "I must say, you have impressed the Galra Empire. Much more than the Champion ever did."
Lance just looked up at the Evil Emperor, confused but still openly terrified.
"I'm sure you're wondering why a valuable prisoner such as yourself is sitting at my side. At dinner." Zarkon turned to him and narrowed his eyes. It wasn't out of sudden anger, his mood hadn't actually changed at all.
Lance managed to calm his face, and give a nod.
"The Champion was quite the fighter in the Arena, and entertainment for the ages. But despite all we could have offered him, he still ran away. Escaped us, and all he could have been. We will not make the same mistake twice."
"You tortured him," Lance said. "Took his arm, his friends and family! That would make anyone want to run away no matter what you offered him!" Lance expected Zarkon to kill him right then and there.
Zarkon didn't kill him, but he did take a large swig of whatever was in his goblet. "That was what we did wrong, yes." he nodded. "But as I said we will not make the same mistake twice."
"What is that supposed to mean?" Lance glared.
"We were cruel to the Champion. And with his lack of knowledge its no wonder he didn't believe us when we said we would make him great. But surely you Blue Paladin are smarter. You know everything that lies in the universe. You know that we will make you great. Greater than you could ever be with Voltron."
"Your vile, I would never join you!" Lance spat.
Zarkon let out a large roar of laughter, which prompted the others at the table to laugh as well.
"Do you truly think you could join our ranks?" Zarkon laughed. "You might have once been a paladin of Voltron, but even then you were the weakest among them!"
Lance was getting angry. That wasn't true! He was a good pilot and paladin, and he earned his place on that team! And yet...it had been so long since he was captured. He had almost forgotten there was a chance he would be rescued from here.
"So what?" Lance sneered. "If I'm so weak, what do you want with me?"
"I want entertainment." Zarkon said, simply.
"Excuse me?!"
"You have become a crowd favorite among the Galra. You could never be great among the empire, but among the Arena you will shine."
"I'm already being forced to fight in the Arena." Lance said. "Why am I here, What are you trying to offer me?"
"The Champion ran away, because we did not treat him correctly. He was valuable for the Arena, but we did not treat him as such. He could have been great, and he never even knew it because we never bothered to tell him." Zarkon shook his head sadly. "You will be different."
"How so?" Lance raised an eyebrow.
"You will be given luxuries. You will be given a room, to rest and bathe in. You will have access to a training room, to hone your craft and skills. You will be given food, water, and proper medical attention. In return, you will continue to fight in the Arena. You will entertain us, give us a show like none other. You will be great."
Lance had to make a decision, and he had to make it quick. He could continue where he was now, fighting in the arena with little resources. He could continue to fight and return to his cell with no food or medical attention. And if he did Zarkon would surely throw in some torture for denying his request. OR he could take Zarkon's deal. Fight in the Arena with Training and Food to ensure his vicotry and life. Be given a room and not a cell. Zarkon didn't want Lance as a solider, something to use against Voltron. No, he wanted him for entertainment; it felt degrading. But Lance would rather degrade than die.
Lance looked back up at Zarkon. "I accept your offer."
"Good." Zarkon said. He gestured to the table. "Eat, rest. For tomorrow you will be the new Champion."
"No."
"Excuse me?"
"You will not call me the Champion. You will call me the Victor."
And so thats what happened. Lance willingly continued to fight in the Arena, as 'The Victor". He trained harder than he ever did with Voltron, and became very strong. He had as much muscles as he body type would allow, and still managed to look as handsome and graceful as ever. The people in the front rows could hear his quips and jokes that he would call to his opponent. Eventually they became so popular that Lance was given a Mic during his fights. He did indeed entertain, the crowd loved him.
And overtime, he loved the crowd. The men would scream his name when he entered the ring. The women would swoon as he plunged his sword into his enemy. Every once in a while, Zarkon himself would attend a match. He would give him a smirk and clap as Lance won as usual. Lance loved the Arena. The cheering fans and the rush of the action. It made him feel worth something. Lance did not like killing. No sane person would! He was not a monster, and never would be. But you can't be a Gladiator Star without doing so. So Lance had developed a special type of fighting style: fast as fuck. Lance would kill his opponent in under a minute, a swift and painless death for the innocent prisoner.
Zarkon had said he wanted entertainment, so at first he had been displeased. But it turned out that the crowd loved it. They loved to see Lance go rapid-fire on tens-twenties of prisoners in record time. Zarkon watched a few matches, and learned to enjoy it too.
In the end, it seemed everything was working out! Lance killed his enemy swift and painlessly, the Galra got their entertainment, and Lance got stay out of the cells.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

It had been a year since Lance was captured and killed by the Galra. Team Voltron mourned him deeply, as he was the first casualty among them. But they vowed he would be the last. They trained harder, and protected each other more than ever. Voltron improved, gained more allies, and was winning the war. Alurra and the coalition finally decided it was time to attack Zarkon head on, and end the war once and for all!
Alurra had become the Blue Paladin after Lance died. At first she felt a deep self hatred, because the only reason she was a paladin was because Lance was gone. Lance, a fun and happy teenager, was dead because he was forced into a war he had nothing to do with. Over time however, she finally accepted her place as a Paladin of Voltron. And that she had to work with her team to save the universe. Make it a better place, for Lance.
Overtime, everyone had to come to terms with Lance's death. They all found new motivation for ending the war on his behalf. And no one had more motivation than Keith. All Keith had ever done was fight with Lance, over the silliest of things! Keith wondered if Lance knew that he really did care for him, that he really was Keith's friend. That Keith really didn't hate Lance. But Keith was stupid, and never told Lance any of that. And Lance died, thinking Keith didn't care about him at all. Keith spent longer than anyone recovering from that guilt. Keith never wanted anyone else to go through that: Your friend dying and the misery that resulted.

So when Alurra announced the attack on Zarkon, the Final Battle...Keith was ready. He was ready to do whatever it took to defeat him.
Alurra explained that even if Voltron defeated Zarkon's mothership, Zarkon could still easily escape in an escpae pod. They had to kill him, blood on blood. Not to mention all the prisoners that would be killed if they simply blew up the ship! The plan was to have Hunk, Shiro, and Alurra fight Zarkon's ship in their Lions with the help of the Coilition. Meanwhile Pidge and Keith would infiltrate Zarkon's ship with the Blade of Mamora. The Pidge would go with Half the Blade and free the prisoners, while Keith would go with the other half and try to take out Zarkon.

____________________________________

Keith, Pidge, and the BOM made it into Zarkon's ship undetected. The outer attack would start in ten Doboshes.
"Alright," Anok, one of the Blades, said. "We're arriving at a perfect time. Currently a long awaited Galdiator Event is taking place in the Arena right now. According to our Insider Spy, Zarkon himself is attending. Once the frontal attack begins, Zarkon will exit the Arena from this exit, right behind the 'Royal Booth'. And We'll be waiting."
They all nodded, and split up. Pidge to begin freeing the prisoners and Keith to get in position.

As Keith and the other Blades got closer and closer, the roars of the crowd could be heard. They cheered and chanted, loving whatever was happening in there. "Vic-Tor! Vic-Tor! Vic-Tor!" they chanted passionately. Keith pitied whoever this 'Victor' was. Sounds simalar to the nickname they gave Shiro. The announcer was crying out commentary as 'The Victor' was getting closer to defeating his enemy.
"This is quite the fight!" the announcer said. "The longest The Victor has ever had! While we all love his rapid fire shows this is surely the event of a lifetime!"
The crowd cheered.
"Surely The Victor has many things to say about this battle! How about it, lets turn on his mic! Hear some of his classic 'burns' as he calls them!"
The crowd cheered even louder.
There was a sudden bunch of garble over the speakers until 'The Victor' began to speak.

"Well damn! I knew I would be giving a longer show today but you're just making it boring!"

Keith froze mid run. Keith knew that voice. It rang in his head every night for the past year. It couldn't be, could it? Keith told the others to go up ahead, that he would meet them there in time.
He rushed to the doorways of the Arena, and climbed his way to a little nook in the ceiling where he wouldn't be spotted. He looked down into the Ring. Shiro had described the ring as a huge circle of blood-stained sand, only filled with dead bodies. The ring looked very different now however. There were large concrete blocks and obstacles now. There was a huge jumbo screen which showed the fight.

Down below in the ring, was Lance. He was alive?! He was ALIVE! Keith was so shocked and happy all at the same time! But oh crap, Lance was in the rings! He had to save him--

Lance walked leisurely to his opponent, whom was cowering behind one of the large walls of concrete. It was obvious they had been spotted, but they looked too exhausted to move.
He made it to the poor alien, and knelt down in front of it. His sword rested against his shoulders, and he smirked.
"P-Please!" The Alein could be heard begging through Lance's mic. "Just kill me already!"
On the Jumbo Screen, Keith could see just the slightest bit of sadness on Lance's face before his normal facade returned.
"No can do buddy!" Lance said. "We gotta give these folks a show! Don't you wanna give them a show?"
"No! I don't!"
"Well! Too bad!" Lance stood back up. "Get up! C'mon." he nudged them with his foot.
The Alein didnt move but continued to cower and cry.
Lance grabbed the Alien by the shirt. "Or did you want the Galra to come and convince you to give them a show? I assure you I'm a lot more gentle~"
Lance winked at the cameras and Keith could hear many galra girls swoon.
The Galra began to chant. "Longer Show! Longer Show!".
Lance finally let the Alein down on its feet. "Ten second head start. Go!"
The Alein ran away, and the minute that ten seconds were up Lance attacked. He drove his sword straight through its chest, and the crowd went wild.

Keith couldn't believe what he was seeing. Keith remembered what Shiro had said about the Arena. That neither he or his opponent could hold back their tears as Shiro killed them. That Shiro would forever regret the lives he took. But Lance didn't look distraught at all, hell he called this a 'show'! He had a name just like Shiro, and he grinned when the crowd cheered it. He taunted his innocent opponent with no mercy. Who had Lance become? No, this wasn't right. There had to be more to this! He had to find out--
"Red Paladin, it is almost time." a BOM member said through his coms. "Get into position."
Keith reluctently joined the other blades. But not before alerting Pidge that Lance was one of the prisoners.

...

Pidge told the other Blades to continue freeing the Prisoners while she ran off. Keith said he saw Lance, fighting in the Arena, but had to get into position. It was up to her to find him. A minute or two into running, the alarms rang signaling that the attack had begun. The ship fell into total chaos. Galras rushing to the escape pods like cowards, and robotic sentries mindlessly attacking. Pidge rushed to fight off anything and everything in her way, desperate to find Lance. She didn't expect Lance to find her.

An enemy was about to strike her suddenly, when Lance bashed its head off with his bare fist. She looked up at him in shock, it was really him! He looked really different: His hair had grown a significant amount, and his body was covered in scars. However he had really buffed up, his muscles looking very strong and handsome. He was also oddly clean, any dirt and blood clearly fresh. However he looked down at her with familer blue eyes and a large grin as he realized whom he had just saved.

"PIDGE!" he cheered. Lance swept her up into his now stronger arms happily.
"Lance!" Pidge couldnt help but let her tears fall. "Oh god we thought you were dead!"
"Heh," Lance wiped stray tears of his own. "Its gonna take a lot more than that to take me out!"
"Follow me," Pidge said, and they began to run. "We're freeing the Prisoners right now. I seperated from the Blade to come find you."
"How did you know I was here? You said you thought I was dead?"
"Keith said he saw you the the Arena or something."
"He...he did?" Lance seemed very concerned suddenly. "Oh Crap, thats so embarrassing!"

Pidge pulled Lance into the Green Lion as the Blade/Priosners and them made their escape.
"Why? Were you getting your ass kicked?" Pidge chuckled.
"No, thats not it..." Lance had lost his familer cheer and was very sad now.
Before Pidge could question, they had made it out into the battlefeild.

The Green Lion had to guide the Blade's ship through the chaos. Take hits before they could hit the BOM and shoot down threats.
"Is that Blue?!" Lance gasped. "Who's flying her?!"
"Oh, uhm, Alurra..." Pidge said nervously. They all feared how Lance would react to learning he had been replaced before they had accepted his death.
"Thats so cool!" Lance cheered genuinely.
"What?"
"Look at her! She's doing great! GO PRINCESS GO!"
Pidge smiled.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The battle was a success. Keith and his team had managed to take down Zarkon head on. Of course there had been casualties just in that small squad alone. The battle outside many lives had been lost. But for a noble cause, because Voltron had formed and ended the Galra Empire once and for all. They say in space, no one can hear your scream. But in that moment everyone in the Universe could be heard cheering.
Lance stood in the Castle of Lion's hanger, waiting for the Lions to return and see his team again. He couldn't believe he was really here! He thought he would be with the Galra forever. Forced to Kill for Entertainment for the rest of his life. But here he was: Home, with Corran by his side, waiting for the rest of his family.
The Lions eventually returned and landed in the Hangers. The Paladins rushed out of them and straight to Lance.
"LANCE!" Hunk screamed, tackling him to the ground.
Well, at least he could have. Lance had learned to keep a steady stance, and even though he knew it was just Hunk instincts made sure he did not fall. He wrapped his arms around his best friend, letting Hunk's tears soak his prisoner clothes. Pidge joined in, hugging around his legs and waist.
When they finally let go Shiro got his turn, embracing Lance carefully. But Lance could feel his hands grip him hard, as if he would vanish at any moment.
Lance looked at Alurra, who stood aside awkwardly. She wore the Blue Paladin armor, and hung her head in shame.
"Alurra!" Lance ran up to her and gave her a big hug. "I saw you out there! You were amazing!"
"R-Really?" she gasped.
"Yeah! Princess, you kicked ass!"
Alurra began to cry.
"Crap, Princess No! What's wrong?"
"N-Nothing," she wiped her tears and hugged Lance back. "You just...You have no idea how much it means to hear that."
Lance finally turned to Keith. Keith looked even more ashamed than Alurra if possible.
Lance chuckled and shook his head. "After all this time, your still so emo."
Keith looked up at Lance, shocked.
"Get over here already!" Lance opened his arms.
Keith ran into them, and hugged Lance like a Koala. He openly sobbed into Lance's shoulder.
"I don't hate you!" Keith cried out. "I don't hate you at all! Your my best friend! And I thought I lost you forever! And I--"
"Keith, Keith! Calm down!" Lance said, letting Keith down. "I know you don't hate me. You're one of my best friends too!" he smiled.
Keith cried again, this time into Lance's chest.
Shiro placed his hand on Lance's shoulder.
"We all thought you were dead and....and he..." Shiro sighed, letting out a sad chuckle. "Keith missed you the most."
Lance looked up at Shiro, and nodded. He continued to pat Keith's back.
...
"OK I gotta ask," Pidge spoke up at dinner that evening. "How did you get so ripped?!"
Lance laughed.
"Ok yeah I was wondering that too." Hunk chuckled.
"I saw you in the Ring," Keith said. "They were treating you like...like a..."
"Like a monster..." Shiro finished for Keith.
"No!" Keith corrected. "Like a...like a sports star!"
"I never thought those words would leave your mouth--"
"Its uh, Its a long story." Lance said nervously.
"I woukd like to hear it," Alurra said.
"Yeah! I wanna hear about Lance becoming The Rock!" Pidge laughed.
"Ok! Ok!"
"Well, I started out like Shiro." Lance said. "They would just throw me in there, and I'd fight to survive. Then I'd be thrown back into my cell until next time."
"Thats horrible," Shiro said. "I'm so sorry you had to--"
"But it got better!" Lance smiled.
"....What?"
"Around the time I was first captured, they didn't take me back to my cell one day."
"Did Haggar...?"
"Thats what I thought was gonna happen too. But no, they took me to this big room where they cleaned me and gave me clothes. And then they took me to a dinner table."
"You had dinner with the Galra?" Alurra asked.
"Next to Zarkon himself."
"WHAT?!" The entire team screamed.
"He basically offered me a deal, going on and on about 'We won't make the same mistake we made with the Chamion with you'" Lance imitating Zarkon's low voice.
"What was the deal?" Hunk asked.
"They said that I was really entertaining them in the ring. So they offered me a room and proper medical attention in return for a good show every time."
"So you...willingly went to the rings?" Keith asked.
Lance saddened. "I guess, yeah. But killing people always sucks, no matter what. So I trained so I could get really strong and really fast. Give my opponents and quick a swift death."
"Oh my god..." Pidge gasped.
"Look I did what I had to do--"
"No No, sorry." Pidge said quickly. "K-Keep going."
"Well, turns out the Galra liked these 'rapid rounds'. So that kinda just became the routine. Admittedly I...I began to like the crowd."
"Are you serious?!" Keith yelled.
"Look, I took the best deal for me at the time!" Lance said. "And they wanted entertainment, they wanted a star. So I became who I had to!"
"When I saw you, they said this was your 'longest fight' yet. That doesn't sound like a quick and painless death." Keith glared.
"I was still a prisoner Keith. I didn't get to chose. I was lucky that they enjoyed me getting things over with quickly. But in the end, I had to give them what they wanted. And they wanted a longer fight today."
"Everyone Calm Down!" Alurra declared.
Alurra placed a hand on Lance's shoulder.
"Lance," she said. "You did what you had to do. No one is going to judge you for that, ever. You may have hurt people, but you stayed true to yourself. And I am proud of you."
Lance looked shocked for a moment, before he smiled softly. "Thanks Alurra."
MHA Self Insert Drabble — Tenya Iida // WogWoman — Autism Acceptence Month
 Happy April! Its Autism Acceptance Month, YAY!
I think you all saw something like this coming lol
(WHAT A PERFECT PIC THO!)
— PRE-ESTABLISHED RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN ME AND TENYA IIDA
> PRE UA: WE KNEW EACHOTHER BEFORE THEN
— The R-Slur
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Tenya Iida was usually very punctual. Even for something as laid back as lunch, he always made a point to arrive at the exact same time and join the exact same table with his friends. However today he was running a bit late, due to needing to discuss and assignment with his teachers after class. So he made his way into the lunch room when it was already crowded and in full swing. He had never actually entered the lunch room at this time, so many of the seats that were usually empty were filled with what he assumed were their usual patrons.
Among them he spotted his girlfriend Molly wandering the tables. She trying to find someplace to sit. She was wearing her large earphones today, so she must be a bit overwhelmed. She would walk up to a table smiling, but would be shooed away with laughter or glares. It seemed to be upsetting her a lot, until she tossed her lunch in the trash and made her way to the exit.
Tenya Iida stopped her before she could leave though.
“Molly, what’s wrong?” Tenya asked calmly, placing a hand on her shoulder.
“Oh! Tenya!” Molly looked up at him. “It’s nothing…”
“You normally sit alone watching cartoons on your phone,” Tenya Iida said. “Did something happen?”
“Yeah, someone took my normal spot.” Molly sighed. “And no other tables were empty. So I thought ‘Hey! Maybe I should try and finally make some friends!’ But no one wanted me to sit with them.”
“I thought you said everyone’s in your general studies class was friendly?”
“I thought they were!” Molly exclaimed. “They also act really nice and cool around eachother! But every time I asked to sit with anyone they would cringe, and say they didn’t want a…a…” Molly was beginning to get worked up.
“Calm Down Molly,” Tenya Iida said carefully. “Lets go to HoundDog Sensei. And you can tell me more on the way.”
Molly nodded, and let Tenya Iida take her to the UA School Councler

Tenya Iida led Molly through the halls at a safe pace, allowing her time to tell Tenya Iida what happened before they got to Mr. Hound Dog.

“I always see them having fun and relaxing with each other,” Molly said. “And I’m not an idiot, I can tell when people are pointing and laughing at me! At least, I thought I could…”
“Have they ever treated you this way before?” Tenya Iida asked.
“I actually haven’t really talked to any of them before!” Molly admitted. “I mean, sometimes I have to ask for a pencil or something. And they don’t really say anything or look annoyed ever! I just see them interacting all nicely with eachother!”
“So is today the first time you attempt to speak with any of your classmates?”
Molly nodded, beginning to cry again.
It made Tenya Iida sad.

As social and friendly as he knew Molly to be, it took her a lot of time top get to that place. And when she had first transferred to UA’s support course, she had been terrified. UA didn’t have any teachers with experience with neurodivergents, and had to rely on her IEP and the requirements the teachers had to follow. She told him that she didn’t think she was smart enough to be at UA. Tenya Iida assured her that UA was very professional, and she wouldnt be here if she didn’t deserve it. He promised her that UA was not the type of school to let people enroll on a ‘charity case’ clause.
Its taken her a lot of time to work through her doubts and finally believe she belonged at UA. Molly had set aside all her socail and friendly nature to focus on building her confidence through studying and learning the ropes of UA. It was really hard for her, but she finally felt like she had earned her place at UA.
Tenya Iida often heard about Molly’s quick observations of her fellow students. After isolating for so long, it must have taken a lot of bravery to finally try and make friends with them! It was something Tenya Iida knew Molly was looking forward to a lot. And after working so hard to be able to, she had been shut down on her first try! It made Tenya feel very sad, but probably hurt Molly even more.

“What did they say to you when you asked to sit with them?” Tenya Iida asked.
Molly tensed up, and Tenya Iida could feel that this was going to be the worst part.
Molly wiped her tears as they began to fall. “Th-They would cringe, Visably too! They wouldn’t even hide it! They’d look me up and down and say that they didn’t want a…they didn’t want a {Redacted} to sit with them!” She burst into tears.
Tenya pulled her into his chest, and rubbed her back as she cried. They referred to her as a slur?! What kind of horrible person does that?! Hero Course or not, UA students should not do such things. No one should.
“They said that it was embarrassing enough that a {Redacted} like me was already in their class. That just being in the same class as me was gross!”
“Thats horrible.” Tenya Iida’s held her tighter. “Don’t worry, once we tell HoundDog he will do something.”
Molly sniffled, as they began to walk again.

“Even if HoundDog does do something,” Molly said. “It can’t fix the big problem. They think less of me.”
Tenya Iida sadly nodded.
“Even if he scolds them, or makes therm apologize, or even punishes them! They still think I’m…I’m a {Redacted}. There’s no way I can make friends now…”
“Thats not true!” Tenya Iida said.
“But—“
“Its true, that those other students do not deserve your friendship. However I have very nice and kind friends in my class.”
“But I don’t wanna be a charity case—“
“You won’t be. I won’t even tell them about your autism, and you don’t have to tell them either.”
“Really?”
“Really.”
“Thank you Iida!” Molly gave Tenya a hug.

VLD oneshot — Lance // Lotor’s Galra Generals — "LilanGran"

Welcome to CRACKSHIPS TAKEN SERIOUSLY With WogWoman :)))

 I saw this:

(Credit to the artist, if you know who that is lmk)

I think there were more parts to it but idk. Anyway, I loved it! I wasn't sure what to do at first, but I know what to do now lol!

I've also changed the meaning of 'Vrepid Sa' lol.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Lance had no idea how he got away with this so many times. Team Voltron had been on edge for a long time lately, the Galra attacks getting more frequent. Plus the new Prince Lotor and his Team stirring trouble for them. They were all on edge and high alert.
So the fact that Lance had been sneaking out to party on every single planet they'd stopped on lately, and was getting away with it! Was unexpected. Lance had his suspicions that the team did know about his little night out, but simply didn't care enough to stop him. And hey, Lance had no problem with that! After all they each had their ways of coping in this war. Lance going out and grinding on the dance floor(and occasionally getting shit-faced drunk)just happened to be his.
So yeah, Lance had his explanations as to how he had gotten away with sneaking out to clubs. But there was one thing he was surprised hadn't been found out yet: His poly-relationship with Lotor's Generals.
It all had happened so fast! It was on one of Lance's clubbing trips when he saw the poly-group(?) out clubbing themselves. They had stared at eachother for a few minutes, waiting to see who would attack first. But when no one did, there was a silent truce. This was neutral territory, and they were just here to unwind. No battle needed to be started.
Lance actually ended up having a few drinks with the galra girls. Zethrid was a loud and roudy drunk, and  Narti--despite her muteness--was actually quite chatty telepathicly. She always had an interesting story to tell it seemed. Ezor was a great dancer, and Lance found himself joining her on the dancefloor. Acxa was often the one who stayed sober to handle them all. However she explained that feeling proud and responsible for something not relating to the war was what made her happy and relaxed.
Both Lotor and Lance's teams landed on the same planets after every battle, wether they knew it or not. So Lance ended up meeting the girls at lot at the clubs. He began to fit into their clubbing routine, and eventually their relationship as well. Lance was shocked to hear that Lotor had given him his blessing, along with a Galra-style 'shovel talk'(relayed to him by the others). Lance hated to admit to his girlfriends that he hadn't told his team yet, that he was afraid to. But they were very understanding. After all they were supposed to be enemies. Lance had every right to fear Lotor's reaction, and they had the same right to fear Voltron's.
So for now, they simply enjoyed their clubbing dates all together. Nothing bad had happened yet, right?
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Team Voltron had been working on a group training challenge for the last few days. It had taken them a long time to get the hang of, but for the first time they actually passed the level! Keith had blocked a hot from Shiro with his sword bu cutting off the robots head. It flew to Hunk, who caught it and flung it at the last three robots. Two conked to the ground, and Lance shot the last one down.
The team cheered at their success.
"Good job team!" Shiro grinned.
Keith gave a small smirk, he was happy they passed.
"FUCK YEAH!" Pidge cheered.
"Language!"
"Finally! We did it!" Hunk cheered.
"GropTrill! YEAH!" Lance cheered the Galran term.

"Wait, what?" Pidge turned to Lance.
"Huh?" Lance lowered his cheering hands.
"What did you say?"
"I said yeah? I was cheering--"
"No,  before that." Hunk asked. "What was that weird word."
"Oh, GrogTrill?" Lance clarifying.
"Yeah that." Keith spoke up. "That doesn't sound like Spanish, or Altean."
"Oh, yeah! Its, uh, Galran!" Lance answered truthfully. "Its a celebration word. Means something like 'We did it'!"
"When did you have time to learn Galran?" Pidge asked. "Even I can't understand the language."
"Hey, I'm already Bilingual! Its always been easy for me to learn other languages since I learned English." Lance raised his head high. "You may be tech smart, but I'm word smart!"
Pidge rolled her eyes. "Thats not a thing."

Before Lance could counter, Shiro spoke up.
"Answer the Question though, Lance." he said. "When did you learn Galran?"
"And what can you say?" Hunk asked, happily curious now.
"I can't say much," Lance admitted. "I know words like GrogTrill, Lilangran, and the classic 'verpid sa'."
"What do they mean?" Keith asked.
"Well I learned that Vrepid Sa is a declaration of devotion. Most of the Galra we fight claim it in the name of the empire, and that they're loyal to Zarkon. But its also used to tell your Lilangran. Lilangran means lover."
"Huh, you sure learned a lot of romantic words Lance." Pidge raised an eyebrow.
"What can I say, I'm a hopeless romantic!" Lance pretended to swoon.

The team laughed, or rolled their eyes with a chuckle. They seemed to forget about the question of where and when he learned these words. Lance was grateful for that, he didn't like lying to his team. Before they could even have the chance to remember the question either, the castle's alarms went off. Corran and Alurra cried out through the intercoms that Lotor and his Generals had just landed on a desolate planet. She was sure they were up to no good, and they had to get down there and stop them! The Team suited up and quickly flew their lions to the planet.

Team Voltron tracked through the desert planet to where Lotor and his team had landed. There seemed to be a small Galran base. But it looked different than any other they had seen. There were gaurds and such, but when Pidge scanned it, they learned: There was no Prison, Database, or control room. They had no idea what this base could be for! But they knew it had to be for evil. So they decided to infiltrate it. Once they did--almost too easily--they split up to look for clues.
Lance, did not look for clues. He looked for his girlfriends instead. He had rested his bayard at his side, and was simply leisurely wandering through the halls of said 'base'. Lance had realized a few minutes before they split up what this place was: It was a house. It had a large kitchen and dining room, many bedrooms and activity rooms, and three different lounges!

Four actually, because Lance finally found his lovers in the fourth one. They sat in a circle cuddling, when they looked up and saw him.
"Babe!" Ezor cheered. She rushed up to him and lifted him into her arms.
"Lance!" Zethrid thundered up to him, and gave him a big hug too.
Narti came from behind and wrapped her arms(and tail)around Lance from behind. She didn't say anything(out loud or in his mind), but sent good vibes.
"Darling," Acxa greeted, giving him a kiss on the cheek.
"Hey girls!" Lance grinned. He gave them each a peck on the cheek.

"What are you doing here?" Acxa asked.
"Misson with Voltron." Lance shrugged. "They think you and Lotor are up to no good. Investigating this 'base' split up right now."
"How long do you think it will take for them to realize this is our vacation house?" Ezor giggled.
"I'd say...15 minutes!" Zethrid roared with laughter.
Lance faked gasped. "You truley think that little of my team?"
"Yes." Narti said telepathically.
"Narti!" Lance fake gasped again. "Such betrayl!"
Acxa pulled Lance into her lap. "get over here, Lance."
Lance squeaked at Acxa's sudden affection. She held him tightly and hid her face into Lance's neck.

"Acxa, whats up?" Lance asked, concerned. "You're not normally this cuddly."
Acxa grumbled to herself.
"Some guy tried to hit on her at our last diplomatic mission." Ezor said.
"WHAT?!" Lance gasped.
"Oh don't worry," Zethrid said. "Acxa totally sucker punched the pathetic Galra Soilder."
"But those kind of things do take a tole on her" Narti said.
"Thats why we're here. Lotor's giving us two days off, to calm down."
"I'm glad your here with us right now," Acxa spoke up. "They'll be better with you here."
Lance sighed sadly. "I wish I could stay, but--"

They could hear shouting from down the halls, fast approaching.
"Lance, this place is empty!" it was Pidge. "Not a single computar, or anyone even here--"
Pidge made it to the open doorway, and saw Lance in Acxa lap while sitting in a circle with Lotor's generals. She was in frozen shock for a bit, before so many thoughts ran through her head, Did Lance flirt his way into not getting killed? Were the Generals drugged? Was Lance--
"Well, uh, you asked me how I knew Romantic Galran Words!" Lance said, blushing.
"Wait....no. Lance, no." Pidge groaned.
"Uh....yeah?"
"Lance..you're dating all four of Lotor's Generals." Pidge sighed.
"Yup," Lance said.

"B-But its not like I told them any Voltron Secrets!" Lance cried out.
"We didn't tell him any Galra Secrets either," Narti said to Pidge telepathicly.
"Yeah, we're just whole heartedly LilanGrans!" Ezor smiled happily.
"Thats not gonna be a problem, it it?" Zethrid rasied his fist.
"Zethrid!" Lance scolded.
"I can't belive this..." Pidge seemed more frustrated than betrayed. That was good? "Shiros gonna blow a casket!"
"W-Wait, you're not gonna tell him are you?!" Lance asked.
"What--YES! Of course I'm gonna tell him! Imma tell everyone!"
"No! You can't!"
"Unless," Pidge smirked.
Lance glared. "Ah, there it is."
"What?" Acxa asked.
"Pidge wants a bribe."
"Yup," Pidge giggled. "You Galra ladies give me all the information you have on Sam and Matthew Holt. And Lance, you give me you're space squishmellow. In return, my lips are seeled. Heck, this entire mission won't even matter."
"I think we can do that." Acxa and the others agreed.
"Pidge you monster!" Lance cried. "You dare take Blue Jr from me?!"
"Deal or No Deal?"
"Deal." Lance grumbled.

Lance performed the devastating funeral-like march as he handed Blue Jr off to Pidge. The things he did for his LilanGrans…Pidge smirked and hugged the squishmellow close to her.
“Pleasure doing business with you,” she smirked.
“I’ll get you for this Pidge,” Lance glared. “I’ll rescue Blue Jr just you wait!”
“Ah! Ah! Ah! I don’t think you will~”
Lance suddenly got an idea, and smirked back. “Well fine, if you wanna be smug about it. That just means you won’t get to hear anything about my LilanGrans.”
“Ew, why would I wanna hear about your girlfriends?” Pidge scoffed. But she was really curious deep down, and Lance knew it.
Lance stayed silent, and simply waited for her to cave. “UHG FINE.” She cried out and shoved Blue Jr back into Lance’s arms.
“BABY!” Lance cheered.
“But I at least wanna barrow her!”
“Fine Fine!” Lance waved her away. “Now, where were we…”
“You were gonna tell me about—“
“I was talking to Blue Jr.”
“YOU IDIOT—“ Pidge tackled Lance

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Everyone kept their end of the bargain. Lance would hand over Blue Jr every time Pidge asked to barrow her, no questions asked. Ezor, Narti, Acxa, and Zethrid sent over everything they had on Pidge’s missing family. It was quite a lot, and they promised to send over anything else that came up.
And in return, Pidge kept a tight lip. Well, as tight as you’d expect her to be able to. She never said where Lance went in the deep night, or why his tracking tech would suddenly cut out on missions to certain galra bases. BUT—Pidge was still a little teasing shit. She would make little picks at Lance about his relationship. In front of everyone!
They’d be relaxing in the lounge as a team, and Keith would tease Lance about fauning over every Alein girl they met. And Pidge would pipe up saying something about how “Lance only likes women who can kick his ass.” Everyone would laugh, but Lance would just blush and give Pidge a glare. One of these days she was gonna spill everything(wether on purpose or not), he just knew it.
In the end, it was not Pidge that revealed the secret: It was Lotor and his Generals! It was when Voltron had agreed to meet Prince Lotor for a meeting, in hopes of creating an alience and ending the war. Lance was obviously more excited than he let on. This could be it, the solution to everything! His sneaking out, his relationship, the war! It was finally all coming together.
Pidge giggled at Lance bouncing on his heels in excitement. They all stood in a Galran throne roommate, awaiting Lotor and his team. The doors were guarded, but also left completely wide open. It created a sense of safety and trust that none of this was a trap. However Lance and Pidge could see that everyone else was still very suspicious. Alurra and Shiro were successfully concealing it, but Keith wore a glare while Hunk a nervous frown.
“Chill out Hunk,” Lance said. “Sure they’ve been our enemies in the past. But imagine how cool it will be to have them on our side! To be our friends!”
Hunk’s shoulder’s relaxed, and he gave a slight smile. The promise of friendship always gave him hope.
And Lance really wanted Hunk’s approval in his relationship, as silly as it was.
Finally, Lotor and his Generals walked in. Lance had seen Lotor before when Alurra would show his picture in mission briefings. He was dressed professionally as always. Lance had made sure that his paladin armor was extra shiny and that he looked his best, because he wanted to make a good first ‘in person ‘ impression. Even if Lotor had already given his blessing. His Girlfriends however, had a different objective in this meeting apparently: to make Lance as red as a fire truck. They didn’t wear their armor, but instead the kind of clothes they would wear to the clubs. Except they decided to dress in their best-est outfits, the ones they knew Lance loved on them. Ezor wore her short bright orange dress. Narti wore her ‘alt’ outfit, but kept her cloak. Acxa wore her tank top to reveal her strong arms. Zethrid apparently had no chill, and wore her most skin tight clothing that stuck to her hot af mussels. Lance was already a sweating and blushing mess.
They all made their way to eachother, and met in the middle of the room. Alurra began to raise her hand to shake Lotor’s in greeting, but Lotor walked straight past her. He instead greeted Lance, and shook his hand. The others looked totally shocked at Lotor’s behavior, but also confused. Why was Lotor doing this? Didn’t he know that this was a secret—
Lance suddenly remembered last night…
Lance was on a call with his girlfriends, the night before the big allience meeting.
“C’mon Lance!” Zethrid cried.
“We’re gonna be allies!” Ezor cheered. “So we don’t have to hide anymore!”
“I know, but…” Lance hesitated.
“You’re not ashamed of us, are you?” Acxa raised an eyebrow.
“No! Of Course not!”
Narti poked her head into frame. She couldn’t talk to him telepathically over call, so she signed like Lance taught her instead. “Then tell them. Tonight.”
“Tonnight?!”
“Its the only way.”
Lance sighed. “Okay. I’ll tell them. But its getting late. So I have to do it now or never!”
“we believe in you!” They all cheered and then hung up.
Lance had made it to the lounge where everyone was. He was about to speak up, tell them everything, when the alarms went off. It wasn’t the galra, but a planet still needed help. It was a long fight that lasted well into the night. The team went to sleep right away after, and Lance didn’t get the chance to tell his tea, of his lovers.
Crap! Lance realized. They think that my team knows! But I didn’t get to tell them yet! And there was no way Lance could explain now, it was too late! Well, if it was gonna happen. It was gonna happen.
Lotor shook Lance’s hand, and placed another one on top in a tender way. “Lance, Blue Paladin,” he greeted. “Its an honor to finally meet you in person.”
Lance nodded, but didn’t say any words. He could see his team very confused, and Pidge’s look of dread.
“I must say I’ve heard so much about you—“
“UHM THIS IS PRINCESS ALURRA!” Lance quickly said, pulling Lotor over to her. “You know, our leader!”
“Of course,” Lotor said. He shook Alurra’s hand and bowed. “I meant no disrespect in shaking the Blue Paladin’s hand first.”
“Its alright,” Alurra said slowly.
“I’ve just been looking forward to meeting him—“
“Well hey wow, you guys sure took your time getting here!” Pidge spoke up this time.
“Pidge!” Shiro scolded her.
Pidge ignored it. “Lets get this meeting started, huh?”
Lance silently thanked Pidge with all his heart as a the others nodded and began to make their way to the meeting hall.
The generals however hung back near Lance. They all started down at him, dammit why was he the shortest?!
"You didn't tell them yet, did you?" Acxa stated.
Lance shook his head.
"Lance!" Ezor said sadly. "You said you would!"
"And I was just about to! But then the alarms rang and we had a late night mission, and it was so late when we got back we all just fell asleep!"
"Lance calm down," Narti placed a hand on his shoulder.
"This one isn't on you." Zethrid said.
"Thanks guys--"
"But we're done hiding." Acxa declared.
"What?" Lance asked.
Zethrid lifted Lance into his arms, princess carry. "They'll just have to find out now instead."
"WHAT?!"
"Yup! Through unfiltered LOVIN~!" Ezor nuzzled Lance's face.
"No! Wait! Narto Help!"
Narti leaned into Lance's face, and pecked him on the lips. Betrayl!
Team Voltron and Lotor all entered the meeting room, but it seemed Lance and Lotor's generals had lagged behind a bit.
"Prince Lotor, I am so sorry about Lance." Alurra began. "I must confess he is probably flirting with your femakle generals and delaying them."
"I would expect nothing less of him," Lotor said casually.
"Whats that supposed to mean?!" Keith shouted. Was this guy saying he expected Lance to be silly? How rude!
"Well, isnt that what one is expected to do with their LilanGran?" Lotor asked.
"Lance said that word before," Shiro said. "What did it mean again?"
Before Lotor could answer and Pidge could intervene, Lotor's generals arrived in the room, Zethrid holding Lance in her arms. Lance didn't look in danger, but he did have his arms crossed in a huffy manor while blushing a lot.
"Ah, there you all are!" Lotor smiled. "Lance dear, I didn't get the chance before but will you join us for dinner?"
"We taught the chef's how to make those garlic knots you like!" Ezor cheered.
"Aw really?" Lance smiled at the girls.
Zethrid finally put Lance down, and the other Generals stood around him. Acxa and Ezor casually held his hands.
"Thats a very kind offer Lotor," Alurra said. "And I'm sure we would all love to join you after the aillence and treaty are discussed."
"Oh, I'm so sorry Princess, but I meant just Lance." Lotor looked like he felt really bad. "However tomorrow night we would love to host you all!"
Alurra looked incredibly insulted. Why Lotor treating Lance like the leader of Voltron? That title belonged to her! Before she could express this, Hunk did instead. Albeit calmer.
"I don't mean to be rude, but why are you giving Lance special treatment?" Hunk asked. "This is your first time meeting him! Any of us--"
"Yes, I've been so excited!" Lotor clapped his hands. "As I tried to say earlier, the Generals talk about dear Lance all the time! I've only been able to relay messages to him through them though--"
"Excuse me?!" Shiro stood up, losing his cool a bit. "What do you mean, relay messages to him?"
"Lance!" Hunk gasped, shocked. "Are you...a traitor?"
"Guys no!" Pidge stood up. "Its not like that!"
"Yeah!" Lance finally spoke up. "I would never betray Voltron!"
"Then what are these 'messages' Lotor sent you? Why to the Generals 'talk about you all the time'?!" Keith growled.
"Lance, what are you hiding from us?" Alurra demanded to know.
Lotor looked worried, scared he had done something wrong. He went to speak up, but his generals stopped him.
"Sir," Acxa said, grabbing his attention. "He was unable to tell his team last night like we thought."
"Oh." Lotor gasped. "Oh dear, I've said too much--"
"Its okay," Ezor said. "He needed to fess up anyway!"
"Do not worry Lotor. Lance will not hate you for this." Narti said.
"Yeah! And don't worry, he'll still come for dinner!" Zethrid roared with laughter.
"Lance!" Shiro yelled. "Answer the question!"
Lance stood in silent shock. He wanted to tell them everything, right there! But their angry glares and asumptions, it made him so scared. He couldn't even move.
Thank god for Pidge getting the ball rolling. "For goodness sakes!" she yelled. "Lance and Lotor's Generals are LilanGrans!" she yelled.
"What is a LilanGran?!" the team screamed.
"It means Lover in Galran." Lance finally spoke up. "Remember?"
The room had gone silent, and everyone stared in shock at Lance. Not for long, because questions began to fly everywhere. What? How? Where did you meet? When did this happen? Your dating all of them? You didn't tell them anything about Voltron have you? Is this why you know Galran?
Lance happily answered all of them, his Galra Girlfriends by his side, until his teammates were calm and satisfied.
"I can't say I'm happy with you for keeping secrets Lance," Shiro sighed.
"However given our reactions to your hints, I can see why you did." Alurra admitted.
"I can't beleive I thought you were a traitor, I'm so sorry." Hunk said.
"I forgive you." Lance smiled. "I'm just glad we can all be happy now."
Everyone happily agreed and the meeting finally began--
"WAIT A SECOND." Keith stood up and shouted. "HOW DID PIDGE ALREADY KNOW?!"
THE END
This totally dragged on lol but was fun to do.
