AU where Izuku has a healing quirk and is RecoveryGirl’s assistant.

Izuku Midoryia walked calmly and professionally into UA. But inside, he was incredibly excited. He had been approached by his all time favorite hero, RecoveryGirl, to become her assistant! At UA high school! He always dreamed of being a doctor to help the heroes, and now his dream was coming true!
As he walked a bit faster, he got distracted by the incredible campus. The cherry blossoms were in bloom. Suddenly a gust of wind started to blow, and some papers flew from Izuku’s Arms.
As he quickly tried to grab them from the air, the wind stopped and he ran right into someone.
Izuku and the someone fell to the ground.
“Oh gee I’m so sorry!” Izuku quickly grabbed his papers. From what he could see, the person was wearing the UA school uniform.
Oh no that meant he might’ve made this student late!
“Its alright,” the person said.
They had a voice that’s was orderly, but alluring. He looked up into the shining eyes of the person. Sure, they were somewhat blurred by his glasses. However his striking blue eyes that matched his beautiful navy blue hair-
“Sir, SIR!” The student was trying to get his attention.
“Huh? What? OH!” Izuku got off the student. “I’m so so so sorry!”
“Are you ok? You’re really red, are you sick?” The student said. “If you’re sick, you shouldn’t attend class.”
Oh goodness he’s so caring! Izuku quickly shook the thought from his head.
“Oh! I, uh, I’m ok!” Izuku said. “And uh, I’m not a student.”
“Oh!” The boy blushed. “I’m sorry for assuming.”
“Oh no, you’re fine!”
Suddenly the first bell rang.
“Oh my! I’m going to be late!” The student gasped. He respectful nodded to the boy. Then, he zoomed away with incredible speed.
“Wow, thats some quirk!” Izuku breathed as he started to rush to RecoverGirl’s office.

Izuku ran burst into RecoveryGirl’s office.
“I’m so sorry I’m late!” Izuku panted.
“Oh its quite alright,” RecoveryGirl waved him off. “Welcome to UA, Midoryia.”
“Thank you!” Izuku smiled, with breath finally caught up. “Um, what would you like me to do?”
“Well the student of class 1-A are going to be training outside today,” RecoveryGirl pointed outside the window to the training fields. “Some are bound to get mildly injured.”
Izuku saddened at the thought.
“But thats why we’re here!” RecoveryGirl smiled. “Today I want to know what skills you already have in the medical field along with what your quirk can do. If you come across anything you don’t understand or know how to do, just call me. I’ll do it and remember to teach you later.”
Izuku nodded. Suddenly, there was a large blast from outside and a shout.
“Yup, out first patient of the day.” RecoveryGirl chuckled.
...
RecoveryGirl led the patient onto the cot. It was the boy from earlier! The one with the blue hair and-
“Midoryia, help the patient,” RecoveryGirl said, walking into her office.
Izuku walked up to the student from earlier.
“Oh hello again,” the boy said once again in an orderly tone.
“Hi!” Izuku smiled. “Sorry again for-“
“Oh never mind that,” the boy said. “You’re fine.”
“Well, I’m Izuku Midoryia, and I’ll be healing you today!” Izuku held out his hand.
“Nice to meet you Midoryia, I’m Tenya Iida!” The boy shook his hand.
Oh god his skin was so soft-
Izuku quickly started to heal Iida. It wasn’t a large injury, so it was healed pretty quick.
“Alright, you’re all healed up!” Izuku smiled.
Tenya Iida started to stand up quickly.
“No wait be careful-!”
Tenya lost his balance easily and fell into Izuku’s arms. The two stayed there for a few minutes, just staring into each other’s eyes. Then they both turned as red as a fire truck and separated.
“B-Be careful,” Izuku stuttered. “M-My quirk easily disorients people!”
“I’ll keep that in mind,” Tenya chuckled.
Oh god that chuckle-
“Well I better get back to training,” Tenya began to slowly walk away as to not fall again. “Thank you Midoryia.” He smiled and walked out the door.
Izuku sighed in content.
“Good job!” RecoveryGirl said. “You did wonderful!”
Izuku nodded. “Thank you. This really is an honor to work along side you!”

Izuku watched outside the hut at the training fields. RecoveryGirl decided class 1-A was just too troublesome, so they created a medical hut outside for when they trained.
Izuku could see Bakugo fighting the boy with red and white hair. The boy with the red and white hair froze the ground, knocking Bakugo off his feet and to the ground.
His childhood friend lay motionless, knocked out from the fall and hit to the head.
“Alright, lets go.” RecoveryGirl said.
Izuku and RecoveryGirl laid Bakugo on the cot.
“Alright, heal him up.” RecoveryGirl said.
“Wait! I can’t!” Izuku cried.
“What do you mean?”
“Well, Kachan never liked me-“
“Kachaan?”
“We’re, uh...childhood friends. He never liked me healing him when hurt.”
“Well he’s gonna get a concussion if you don’t,” RecoveryGirl said.
Izuku took a deep breath and placed his fingers on Bakugo’s head. Slowly, Bakugo began to heal. he suddenly sat up when fully healed.
“What the-“ Bakugo looked around and his eyes landed on Izuku. “DEKU?!”
He was thrown into a rage, and slapped Izuku across the face. Izuku fell to the ground.
“I told you to never use your powers on me!” He screamed.
Izuku cowered beneath him. “But I-“
“Midoryia!” RecoveryGirl ran to his side. “Young Bakugo leave imedetely!”
Bakugo scoffed and stomped away.
“Are you alright?” RecoveryGirl asked.
Iszuku nodded.
“I’ll make sure Young Bakugo is rightfully scolded-“
“No, No!” Izuku said. “It will only make it worse.”

By noon, Izuku’s stomach was rumbling like thunder.
“Why don’t you head to the dining hall?” RecoveryGirl said. “You’ve done great so far, go take a break.”
“But isn’t that place only for students and staff?” Izuku asked.
RecoverGirl tossed him a lanyard. It was her badge.
“Go grab some lunch, just be back at the bell.”
“Th-Thank you!” Izuku nodded.
...
Izuku held his tray as he walked around the lunchroom looking for an empty table. He didn’t want to disrupt the students, let alone run into Kachaan again!
Suddenly, he could hear someone calling his name. He turned to the noise, and saw Tenya Iida! he was waving him over, so he quickly made his way to the table.
“Hello Midoryia!” Tenya smiled respectfully.
“Hello Iida!” Izuku smiled back. “How’s you knee?”
“Much better, thank you.”
Tenya turned to the others at the table. “Everyone, this is the new nurse, Izuku Midoryia. Midoryia, this is Uraraka, Kirihima, and Todoroki.
Everyone waved and said hello.
“Do you want to sit with us Midoryia?” Uraraka asked.
“I’d love to,” Izuku sat down.
“So, why did you become a nurse here?” Toderoki asked.
“Oh! I’m just an apprentice of RecoveryGirl,” Izuku blushed. “I’m not a nurse yet. But RevoveryGirl has always been my hero! And its my dream to heal Heroes!”
“Thats so sweet!” Uraraka smiled.
Suddenly, a hand slammed down on the table. Everyone looked up to see a pissed Bakugo. Izuku started to shake in fear.
“What do you think you’re doing shitty Deku?” Bakugo sneered.
“J-Just eating L-unch?” Izuku stuttered.
“Why are you eating here? Where the STUDENTS eat. Not where shitty Deku’s eat. Not like you deserve to eat anyway!”
“Bakugo! What the hell!” Kirishima scolded.
“Yeah chill,” Toderoki said.
“I-Its fine!” Izuku stood up, tears threatening to fall. “Sorry Kachaan...” he left his food, afraid to eat, as he walked back to RecoveryGirl’s office.

“Bakugo!” Tenya scolded. “What made you think that was ok to do?!”
“Yeah!” Uraraka stood up. “he din’t do anything to you!”
Bakugo huffed and walked away.
“I’ll go make sure Midoryia is ok,” Tenya said,. Zooming away.
...
Tenya knocked on the door of the Nurse’s office.
RecoveryGirl opened it.
“Hello again Tenya,” she said softly. “Is everything alright?”
“Yes, I am fine,” Tenya explained. “I wanted to make sure Midoryia was alright. Bakugo was not being very kind to him, and he left his food without a bite!” Tenya held izuku’s lunch tray in his hand.
“Oh dear, so thats why he’s so distraught!” RecoveryGirl whispered, letting him inside.
Izuku sat on a stool, head down, almost crying but trying to stay calm. When he looked up and saw Tenya, he quickly stoop up.
“Iida, are you alright? Does you’re knee still hurt?” izuku asked.
“I’m fine,” Tenya said. “I, uh...”
Tenya couldn’t seem to find words suddenly. He was lost in Izuku’s emerald eyes, shimmering in the re-election of his tears which were now drying. he never want to see tears come from those eyes again.
“I, brought you you’re lunch!” Tenya held out the tray to izuku.
“Th-thank you,” izuku looked down, sad. “But I’m not hungry anymore...”
“Yes you are,” Tenya handed izuku the tray. “Don’t let Bakugo get to you. He’s-“
“-he’s always been like that.” Izuku finished.
“We know each other. He bullied me in middle school,” Izuku explained
“Oh I’m so sorry I had no idea-“ Tenya stuttered
“Its fine,” izuku smiled. “I should’ve said something.”
Izuku looked down at his food. Tenya could tell he was starving, but was reluctant after what Bakugo said.
“Go on, Eat.” Tenya said. “Everyone deserves to eat.” He smiled. “I won’t leave til I see you take a bite.”
Izuku sighed playfully and took a bite. “Thank you,” Izuku blushed.
Tenya nodded and smiled brightly. Then he left respectfully.
...
As Tenya walked back to the lunchroom, Uraraka ran up to him.
“YOU LIKE HIM!” She screamed.
“Quite down!” Tenya hissed. “We are in the hall! People are in class-“ Suddenly what she had said registered. “NO I DON’T!” He blushed.
“Tenya you have such a dedication to your schedule,” Uraraka crossed her arms. “You always eat and finish at a certain time so you can get back to class. And yet you completely ignored that got bring Midoryia his lunch!”
Tenya blushed. “Ok, maybe I like him a
little bit!”
“I KNEW IT!”
“Shush won’t you?!” He said. “Don’t shout it from the rooftops!”

All for one sat in a chair as he watched UA. The league of Villains had hacked into the security cameras and were keeping tabs on class 1-A. But they had recently been observing something completely different.
Izuku Midoryia.
He had an incredible quirk! Able to heal anyone and anything instantly with almost no side effects! The league wanted him. And they would get that boy, wether he was willing or not.
“Shigaraki,” he held his phone to his ear.
“Whats up boss?” Shigirkaki hissed. “I have a mission for you.”

TIME SKIP
Izuku and RecoveryGirl stood in their small medical hut outside. They were told to set one up, as class 1-A had a tendency to get injured in training.
“Boy its hot out today!” Izuku chuckled, taking off his lab coat for a minute and wiping his brow.
“Do you need water?” RecoverGirl asked.
“No I’ll be fine.” Izuku said.
Tenya hobbled into their tent.
“Heh, I really need to work on my balance!” He chuckled.
“You sure do!” Izuku laughed. “This is the third time this month you’ve injured one of you’re legs!”
Tenya blushed. “I do need to improve keeping my balance when in fights. How to do that well I am unsure.”
Izuku shrugged. “I’m no hero, so I can’t help you there.” He sighed.
“Of course you're a hero!” Tenya suddenly cried, making izuku face him. “You’ve worked so hard for your dreams and helping others! Whats more heroic than that?!”
Izuku blushed heavily, “Th-Thank you Iida...”
“Call me Tenya,” he smiled.
“C-Call me Izuku!” Izuku grinned.
Suddenly the sky darkened, and a strong cold wind struck the feild.
“Looks like its, going to rain?,” RecoveryGirl said. “We better pack up shop,” she said.
Izuku nodded as he finished bandaging Tenya’s leg.
“Izuku, I have something I want to tell you,” Tenya said. “Its important,”
“What-“
“Midoryia! help me with the cots will you?” RecoverGirl called Izuku over.
Izuku turned to Tenya.
“Later, ok?” He said.
Tenya nodded.
“Thanks Tenya!” Izuku ran off to help RecoveryGirl push the cots back into the building.
...
“These things are heavier than last time!” Izuku laughed.
“Thank god they have wheels!” RecoveryGirl laughed.
Suddenly, a shadow fell over the sky. The two looked up-
AND SAW A GIANT NOMU WIH WINGS! It was like the one that had attacked the training center!
“Run Midoryia!” RecoveryGirl yelled.
The two went in to a sprint to get inside, but the Nomu was fast! It swooped down and grabbed Izuku in its tallons.
Izuku screamed and thrashed, trying to get away.
“AAAH! HELP ME!!” He screamed.
He looked down, and could see Tenya Iida, trying to catch up with them. Toderoki released an acid ramp, and Tenya zoomed up it, flown into the sky.
“GRAB MY HAND!” He cried.
Izuku reached out for it, but their fingers just brushed eachother right before Tenya fell back to the ground.
And so Izuku was taken by the Nomu, screaming all the way!

Tenya stared up at the sky along with the reset of class 1-A.
Their school nurse, was just taken! By one of the league of Villains’ Nomu-s!
“Tenya this isn’t your fault-“
“YES IT IS!” Tenya slapped Kirishima’s hand away. “I was so close! So close to saving him! But I missed! I god damn missed!”
Tenya had never been this worked up.
“We have to save him!” Toderoki said.
“Agreed,” Aizawa walked up the class. “We will save him. But we’ll need you’re help.”
Bakugo scoffed. “Why?”
“Because you students have skills that can help us rescue-“
“I mean why are we saving that useless deku?” Bakugo sneered. “He’s stupid, probably dead already!”
Uraraka slapped him upside the head. “Stop that!” She said. “You may not care about nurse Midoryia but we do! Now C’mon! Lets go save him!”

The Nomu flew to the ground and dropped Izuku onto cold concrete. Izuku was breathing hard, terrified out of his mind.
he looked up to see the infamous Shigaraki staring down at him.
“well, if it isn’t the little nurse from UA. Just who we wanted!” Shigaraki smirked from underneath the hand.
“Wh-What do you want with me?” Izuku stuttered.
“We want
you.”
“M-Me?”
“Yes, we need a healing quirk for our injured villains after that failure of an ambush.”
Two other villains grabbed Izuku and pulled him into the building.
“Lets me go! I won’t heal you monsters!” Izuku squirmed.
“Yes you will!” One of the villains holding him said, tightening his grip. “Unless you
want to get hurt?”
Izuku gulped and shook his head.
...
The league had Izuku healing villains after villains, with no break in between. This was bad, because izuku’s quirk may not affect those he healed, but it affected him! He would get very sick without being able to heal himself. Dizzy and nauseous.
The villain, Dabi, walked right in and sat on the cot. He held out his arm which had a gash on it.
“Fix it.” He demanded.
“Ok...” Izuku mumbled. “Just gimme a sec...” he was getting woozy.
“I SAID FIX IT!” Dabi slapped him across the face.
“Ok!” Izuku cried.
Izuku used all his might to heal Dabi as quickly as possible. When he was done he was breathing hard and seeing spots.
“That wasn't so hard was it?” Dabi smirked, his voice miles away.
Izuku tried to stand but was too weak. Suddenly the door slammed opened, and the two turned to see who it was.
All Izuku saw was a figure with navy Blue hair.
“T-Tenya...!” Was all izuku could muster out before fainting.

Izuku hit the cold hard ground.
Tenya looked at the villain Dabi and growled.
“What did you do?!”
“How should I know?” Dabi shrugged, activating his fire. He threw himslef at Tenya but Tenya sidestepped and closed the door. Dabi rammed right into it and knocked himself out.
Tenya ran to izuku and held his weak form in his arms.
“Izuku? Izuku wake up!” He cried.
Izuku was sweating and burning up.
“Lets get you home!
...
Tenya looked as izuku lay on the cot.
“is he ok?” He asked RecoveryGirl.
“He’ll be fine,” RecoveryGirl said. “When he uses his quirk too much he becomes very ill, unable to heal himself.”
“Those bastards must’ve pushed him to heal their own!” Tenya growled.
“
T-Tenya...?”
Tenya looked down and saw Izuku’s bright green eyes.
“I’ll give you two some time,” RecoveryGirl walked away.
“Oh Tenya I was so scared!” Izuku cried.
“I’m so sorry I couldn’t get to you sooner-“ Tenya took Izuku’s hand. “But I promise, it won’t happen again.” Tenya kissed izuku;s hand.
Izuku pulled Tenya into an actual kiss.
“I like you too dummy,” he giggled.
