MHA Drabble -- Method Acting

And while I’m sure I’ve done it before i wanna write a oneshot about it!

Class 2-A was gathered in the dorm's common-room brainstorming ideas for this year's U.A Cultural Festival. And Uraraka had just come up with her idea:

“A Movie?” 

"Yeah!" Uraraka smiled. "C'mon guys, this could be so fun!"

"Doesn't the School Festival require live entertainment?" Kirishima asked from the couch.

"Just hear me out," Uraraka continued. "Not only could we make the movie, but we could do a movie theater set up! Sell Popcorn, set up a big curtain in front of the screen, and omg! We could do a live soundtrack for the movie! Play music like we did last year!"

The class all looked at one another, liking the idea.

"But what kind of movie would we make?" Sero asked.

"A SuperHero Movie, duh!" Bakugou rolled his eyes.

"We could split up our class," Tenya stood up. "One team creates the movie, while the other creates the theater and orchestra."

Everyone cheered, a movie it was!

Midoryia ended up with the team making the movie, due to randomized systems. Himself along with Todoroki, Mina, Tenya, Aoyama, and Uraraka were together planning out their movie. While Momo would have been a great asset to have in making their movie set, she would be with Bakugou, Jiro, Kaminari and Tokoyami in the live orchestra. So they decided to use one of the school's many City Repleca Training grounds as their set. And with Todoroki's quirk, they could surely make some really amazing special affects.

They decided their movie would be about a SuperHero, trying to rescue their love interest from the Villian who captured them. Then the Villain would use the Love Interest against the hero, to take over the city! And in an epic battle the SuperHero would have to defeat the Villian to save their love interest. It was a simple idea, but they were sure they could make it amazing!

Creating the characters was simple enough...

"As for the characters," Uraraka held up the notebook they were using to create their movie ideas. "What are they going to be like?"

"Good characters have set expectations to them along with deeper developments being made thorough the movie." Tenya said. "However creating and writing those characters take a long time, and we only have so much time before the fesitval."

"Iida's right," Midoryia spoke up. "We have to keep the characters simple and easy to understand."

"I say we make the Hero a Girl!" Mina grinned.

"Oui!" exclaimed Aoyama. "Girl Power is Tres Magnifique!"

"I like that idea!" Uraraka smiled. "She can be all strong and sassy!"

"What about the Villian?" Tenya asked. "What should they be like?"

"Maybe he can be like, super confident and smooth?" Mina said. "Like, Oh, you're going to defeat me? Don't make me laugh! Ha! Ha! Ha! You know?" Mina imitated. 

"Yeah, that shouldn't be too hard." 

"But what about the Love Interest?" Todoroki asked.

"Damsel in distresses are so overrated." Aoyama said. 

"Oh! Oh!" Uraraka rose her hand. "Maybe we can have a scene at the end, after the villian is defeated, and its the love interested escaping on their own and running to the hero! And we can make a funny one-liner joke about it."

Mina laughed. "Omg yes! That will be so funny!"

...However Casting them was harder. In the end they decided to pick names from the hat. Uraraka ended up with the role of the Hero, Todoroki ended up as the love interest, and the Villain was Midoryia

Mina doubled over in laughter. "Oh my gosh! This is gonna be so great!"

"Is Midoryia even capable of making that cute little face become one of a stone cold monster?" Aoyama shook his his head.

"Even so, the roles have been chosen hair and square." Tenya said. So lets get to work everyone!"

The UA Festival came and went, and everyone loved their movie. However, everyone from the other team was too busy working the theater to watch it! So they decided for a movie night that evening to watch what their classmates had created.

The Movie started, and the other classmates watched with bated breath....

SuperHero Uravity stood in the Deku's Evil Lair, calling out for him.

"Deku!" she yelled. "What have you done with my beloved Todoroki!"

"BELOVED?!" Denki and Sero laughed.

"He was picked to be the love interest!" Uraraka blushed.

Deku emerged from the shadows, his heels clicking against the overhang balcony in which he stood.

"Well, Well, Well! If it isn't Uravity!" Deku smirked. "Here for you boyfriend, are you?"

"Where is he?!" Uravity shouted/

"Why, he's right here!"

A spotlight appeared a few feet away, where Todoroki stood alone in a cage above the ground.

"Help me, Uravity." he said in a bland voice.

"I'll save you!" Uravity declared.

Uravity and Deku preformed a basic choreagraphed battle, where Deku ended up in the cage himself. Uravity saved Todoroki, and the credits rolled.

The class turned to Midoryia.

"Who decided to make Midoryia the villian?" they asked, laughing.

"It was randomized!" Midoryia groaned.
