Voltron LANGST oneshot—A simple text

Once again, a friend gave me this and I'm making it worse than it need to be.

WOOO!

Lance missed Keith. Keith had been on a business trip for at least a week. He said his plane had been cancelled and had to stay out of town longer.

But seriously, the trip was only supposed to last a day! Why was he taking so long?

Lance felt his phone buzz. It was a text from Pidge.

Pidge-Hey Lance, how are you holding up?

Lance-What do you mean?

Pidge-You haven't heard???!

Lance-What is it?

Pidge sent him a link to an article. And Lance couldn't believe his eyes:

Famous model Keith Kogane in love???

There was a photo of Keith kissing a hot blonde chic.

No. This was NOT happening!!

Lance- It must be fake.

Pidge- I hope so. 

Just then, Lance got a text from Keith:

Keith- Lance, there's no easy way to say this, but I don't love you anymore. I've fallen in love with someone else, I'm sure you've heard. I'm staying here in LA. Goodbye.

Lance dropped his phone, the screen shattering.

Lance was sure this had to be a cruel prank, and that Keith would walk right through his front door and give him a big kiss!

Lance waited for years.

Keith never came home.
