Voltron LANCELOT oneshot—Who do you trust?—@MythQueenofDarkness request—PART 2

Oki doki lets do this!

The team hadn’t seen Lance in a while. he wouldn’t show up to meals or training. Not that they minded at first, it was nice ti have to personal time. But pretty soon it got scary. Where was he?! Was he really guarding Lotor’s cell for this long?

________

“Guys! We gotta problem!” Pidge screamed as she ran into the room.
“Pidge! What is it?” Keith asked.
“Its Lotor! He’s not in his cell!” Pidge said. “And one of the escape pods are missing!”
“He’s escaped?!” Alurra cried. “This is bad this is very bad!”
“How did he escape?! Lance was guarding his cell day and night!” Shiro stood up. “He’s in so much trouble for letting this happen!”

...

“Lance open this door right now!” Shiro pounded on the door.
Nothing.
“Lance you let Lotor escape, you need to own up to it!”
Still nothing.

Shiro broke the door down and gasped.

Everything was gone, or wrecked. Lance’s jacket and clothing was gone except for his paladin armor, and every photo of him and the team had been torn to spreads.

“Guys!” Shiro called into the coms. “lance is gone!”

____________

Lotor showed Lance around his ship.
“I’m so glad you agreed to join me lance,” Lotor said, slipping an arm around Lance’s shoulders.
Lance tensed, but didn’t move away.
“Its just hard to process,” Lance said.
“How so?”
“I suppose I always knew my team didn’t care about me. I guess doing something about it finally is hard to stomach.”
“Not to worry Lance,” Lotor said. “You will have me and my team! We will respect you and care about you. We shall make you a member of our team!”
“R-Really?”
“Of course! You’re so talented and beautiful-“

“What?”
“BRAVE.” Lotor stuttered. “And Brave. We would be honored to have you on our team!”

...

Team Voltron searched everywhere for Lotor’s ship, in hopes it was connected to Lance’s disappearance.
“Where could they be?!” Pidge groaned
“Hey guys, I had a thought about all this.” Hunk said.
“What is it?” Shiro asked.

“Well, we weren’t the nicest to Lance while he was on Lotor duty. Is it possible he let Lotor out and left with him?” Hunk asked.
“Hunk how could you say something like that!” Alurra gasped.
“Yeah isn’t Lance your best friend?” Keith asked.
“He is!” Hunk cried. “Its was just a thought!!”
“Exactly,” Shiro said. “Don’t ever think it again.”

“Guys! I found him!” Pidge cried.
Everyone gasped.
“Lotor though. I found Lotor, not Lance.”
Everyone sighed.
“Alright then, lets suit up and take him out this time.”

___________

The ship shook as Voltron approached, attacking.
“Lotor what do we do?!” Lance cried.
“We show them who you truly are Lance,” Lotor said. “We show them the smart, talented, and incredible person they mistreated and lost.”
Lance nodded, newly confident.

...

The lions burst into the hanger, but the hanger doors closed behind the them, trapping them inside.
Lotor and Lance(Lance whom wore a helmet to hide himself)strode into the room.
“Ah Paladins!” Lotor smirked. “You captured me, I guess its my turn now!” He smiled dropped. “Guards, take them to the cells.”
The paladins revealed their bayards. However Lance being a past paladin, knew the secret signal codes(???)to disable them all.

“What happened?!” Pidge gasped as her boomerang turned off.
Even Shiro’s hand started to flicker.
“This is impossible!”

The guards were able to easily seize the paladins.

__________

The paladins sat in glass cells in as long hallway.
“Let us out Lotor!”
“Why should I? After all, I had to escape myself so its only fair-“
Lance coughed behind him angrily.
“Ah yes,” Lotor sighed. “Getting impatient. I suppose I didn’t escape all on my own...”

Lance removed his headgear.

“LANCE?!” The team gasped.

“Lance what are you doing?!” Shiro yelled.
“Help us!” Pidge cried.
“Is this a joke?!” Keith snapped.

“Silly paladins,” Lance strode up to them and struck a sassy pose. “Always thinking of yourselves,”
“Lance what are you talking about?” Hunk asked.
“You heard me!” Lance screamed suddenly. “You all ignored me! Just tossed me aside!”

Lance moved to stand beside Lotor. “I was wrong to ever trust any of you.”
“Lance he’s lied to you!” keith said. “He doesn’t care, he’s just using you!”
Lance’s face turned to rage. he burst into the cell and shoved keith into the wall.
“You have no room to talk,” He growled.

Lance left the cell again and stood with Lotor once more. “I’m through with you.”
lance left the hall and Lotor smirked at the paladins.

“You asshole!” Pidge yelled
“What do you mean?” Lotor asked. “He was trusting the wrong people. Now he’s on the right side of this war.”

Lotor revealed a remote and pressed a button. The back walls of the cells started to rise, revealing the cold vacuum of space.
The paladins screamed as they were sucked into space, never to return alive.

“Bye Bye paladins!” Lotor smiled.

Voltron Langst oneshot--Quieter

Art By: https://lietuus.tumblr.com/post/175154797439/youre-so-quiet-now

I liked the caption: "You're quieter now"

What changed? He used to be so lively, so why did he go radio silent? Did they do something wrong? Did Keith do something wrong?
He wondered if he did.
He must've!
There's no way it wasn't his fault. He was lance's rival! It had to be him.

...

Lance didn't really talk about anything anymore, nor did he talk at all. Every once in a while he'd smile slightly, but that was it.

They were getting back from a battle that day. Alurra ran into the hangers with her mice behind her.
"Well done paladins!" she said. "Another battle well done!"

It was then that Keith noticed that Lance wasn't with them! Keith panicked for a moment before he saw Lance sitting with the mice.
Keith sighed in relief, but also sadness.

"Whats wrong Keith?" Pidge asked.
"Its lance," Keith said. "he's gotten quieter."
Pidge looked over at Lance then back at keith. "Yeah, you're right. He has."
"Its all my fault,"
"What? How?"
"Well, it has to be! I'm his 'rival'. I must of done something."

Shiro walked up to them. "C'mon team, dinner's ready!"
"Shiro, did you notice Lance has gotten quieter?" Pidge asked.
"No not really,"  Shiro shrugged. "He seems fine."
"But-"
"Lets go, I wanna eat something."

And so everyone left Lance alone in the room.

However keith stayed behind, and heard something very interesting....

____________

Lance sat with the mice waiting for the team to leave. After all, they always left him behind.
The mice squeaked at Lance to go eat something.
"I don't think so," Lance sighed. "Shiro might hit me again if I join."
Lance lifted up his shirt to reveal a red mark. The mice gasped.
"He said if I keep 'distracting the eam', he'll hit me with his galra arm next time." Lance sighed and stood up.
"Imma head to bed,"

But as Lance left, he saw Keith was standing behind the door the whole time.
"K-Keith! H-Hi!" he stuttered.
Keith looked horrified.
"Lance..."
"How much did you hear?"
"All of it...Lance-"

"Please you can't tell anyone!!" Lance cried.
"Lance no! Shiro is abusing you! We have to-"
"Please he might hurt you to and I wouldn't be able to live with myself if that happened!" Lance sobbed.
"Lance...Is this why you went quiet?"

Lance relized he had said to much-

Shiro's hand smacked down on Lance's arm.
"OW! Shiro stop-"
"I don't wanna hear another trod from annoying mouth again!" Shrio roared. "Understand?!"
"Shiro-"
Another smack that pushed Lance to the ground.
"UNDERTSAND?!"
"Y-Yes sir...!

- Lance started to shake. "I've said too much..." he whispered. "I have to go!"
Lance ran away as fast as he could back to his room.

And Lance sstayed there. Shushed, Slient.

Quiet.

Voltron oneshot--Omegaverse AU--KolivanxLancexLotor--Request by: ???

I forgot who requested this it was so long ago...

Au where Lotor is not Prince

Lance sat in the dining room with his sister Alurra and his father Alfor.
“The war against the galra is not going swimmingly,” King Alfor sighed.
“What do you suggest we do?” Alurra asked.
Alfor was silent, giving a look.
“I know that look,” Lance said. “What haven’t you told us father?”

Alfor sighed. “A while back, I was contacted by the Blade of Mamora.”
“That’s wonderful! Are they finally going to join the coalition?” Alurra asked.
“They will for a Price,”
“Well what is it?” Lance asked.

“You.”

“Me?” Lance asked.
“The blade of Mamora have requested a royal alliance between the
Royal prime omega of Altea and their leaders Lotor and Kolivan.”
Alfor explained.
“A-A threesome?”
“Yes Lance, a threesome. You would have to marry the two.
And it will be the only way they will agree to help us win the war.”

“Absolutely not!” Alurra screeched.
“I will not allow my baby brother to do such a thing! He’s not just an omega!
He’s-”
“-Old enough to make his own decisions!” Lance stood up.
“I’m not a baby anymore.” Lance sighed.

“If this is a way to get closer to ending this way, it’s worth it!” Lance said.
“I’ll do it father.”
“Are you sure son? We won’t be able to visit you unless for emergencies.”
Alfor explained.
“Yes! You’d be all alone!” Alurra said.
“That doesn’t matter,” Lance said. “I’ll do it.

______________

Lance wore Royal Omegan robes as he entered the BOM base.
Alurra stood by his side. They arrived in their large throneish type of room.
Lance looked up to see two alphas.
One had long white hair and Altean ears,
while the others was a large handsome galran.

“Leaders Lotor and Kolivan,
I present to you my Brother Prince Lance,
the Prime Omega you seek in return for our alliance.” Alurra bowed, as well as Lance.
“You have pleased us,” Kolivan said.
“Follow us into the meeting room and we shall discuss the alliance.”

Lance watched out the large window as Alurra’s ship left.
He might not see her for a long time. He would miss her-

“Prince Lance?”

Lanc spun around to see Kolivan and Lotor. He bowed.
“Alphas,” he greeted.

Lance had learned long ago,
Omegas were to be obedient and serve their Alphas.

“Please Lance, there is no need for that.”
Kolivan said, blushing a tiny bit.

What?

“We didn’t get to really introduce ourselves to all the formalities,”
Lotor smiled. “I am Prince Lotor of the Blade of Mamora,” he took Lance’s hand.
“And I am Kolivan, Leader of the Blade of Mamora,”
Kolivan took Lance;s other hand.
“It’s an honor to meet you,” the two and kissed his hands in unison.

Lance blushed. “The honor is mine Alphas,” Labce said quietly.
“Come!” Lotor smiled excitedly. “We’ll show you around!”

After a long tour, they stopped at a single door.
The two Alphas opened it and led Lance inside.
“This is your room,” Kolivan said, smiling softly.

Did they not want him to stay with them?

“We know you need to get to know us before we go
so far as to share a room.” Lotor said.
“If that is your wish Alphas,” Lance nodded.
“We’ll leave you to get settled,” Kolivan nodded and left.

_____________

“Kolivan he’s perfect!” Lotor gushed. “He’s the perfect Omega for us!”
“But does he even like us?” Koivan asked.
“He just met us Koli!” Lotor said.
“And he’s probably been raised as an obedient Omega or something!
He’ll warm up to us!”

“I hope so,” Kolivan said.
“He seems scared to be here, do you think it was really his choice to come?”
Lotor thought about that.
“We shouldn’t think about that.” he said. “Lets focus on the positive!

_____________

Lance awoke in his new bed at the BOM headquarters.
It felt cold. He missed his stuffed animals.
But due to security, the BOM would not allow
Lance to have any of his personal belongings except his clothing.
He had no stuffies, scrapbooks, his crown was all he had left.
Lance heard a knock on his door.
“Come in,” Lance said.
A guard walked in. “Leaders Kolivan and Lotor
request your presence for breakfast,”
Lance nodded.

This was all so weird! His new Alphas were kind,
and didn’t demand anything of him so far.
What was he supposed to be doing?

Lance walked into the dining room and sat on the far end of the table.
“Hello Lance,” Kolivan said.
Lotor smiled and waved with food in his mouth.
“Good morning!” Lotor said when he swallowed.
“Good morning Alphas,” Lance bowed his head.
A plate was placed in front of him. Lance didn’t dare
eat without permission.
“You may eat,” a guard whispered to him.
Lance nodded and began to pick at his food.

“Lance,” Kolivan said.
Lance looked up.
“Is there anything we can do to make your stay more
comfortable before the wedding?” Lotor asked.

Right. The wedding. The big sealed deal.

“Lance?” Kolivan repeated.
“Oh! Sorry Alphas,” Lance said.
“Is there anything we can do Lance?” Lotor asked.

They’ve placed him in such a sticky spot!
On one hand, Lance could say so many things!
On the other hand, this would insult them!
Time to go with the classic Omega solution:

“I am well as long as I am pleasing my Alphas,” Lance said.

Lotor and Kolivan looked at each other with worried eyes.
“If you so sure,” Lotor said softly.

______________

“It’s as if he has no free will!” Lotor said.
“And its strange, as Alteans would call him lively…” Kolivan said.
“He’s probably just very homesick. I got it!” Lotor gasped.

“What is it?” Kolivan asked.
“The holoroom! We can program it to look like Altea!
I’m sure doing something like that will let him warm up to us!”
“Great Idea!” Kolivan kissed Lotor on the cheek. “Your brilliant.”

Kolivan and Lotor knocked on Lance’s door.
“How may I be of service my Alphas?” Lance bowed his head.
“Actually, it’s how we may be of service!” Lotor smiled.

Lance’s eyes swirled with confusion, but his face stayed calm.
“C’mon!” Lotor grabbed his hand,.

They led him to a dark room.
“We know you’ve been homesick, so we’ve created this program for you.”
Kolivan flipped a switch, and the room spurred to life.

Revealing a field of Altean flowers.

Lance’s eyes lit up.
“You may come here whenever you wish.” Kolivan said.
“Th-Thank you Alphas!” Lance gasped.

And for the first time, Kolivan and Lotor saw lance smile.

I may continue this another time.

Voltron LANCELOT oneshot—Who do you trust?—@MythQueenofDarkness request

Manipulative! Lotor and Oblivious! Lance. Requested by @MythQueenofDarkness on Wattpad

Lance was trusting. He knew this. He knew trusted too easily especially for war. But mama had always said there were two sides to each story. And he was stupid enough to trust that the story they told was true.

So he couldn’t listen to Lotor. He would just have to ignore everything he said. Not believe a word.

“Are you alright? Your seem nervous,” Lotor smirked from inside his cell.
“I’m fine,” Lance lied.
“Alright then, if you’re so sure...” Lotor sighed.

...

“Why do I have to be on Lotor duty?” Lance whines as he walked into the room.
No one even looked up at him.
“Lance stop whining,” Shiro said.
“Sorry,” Lance said. “But why do I have to be the one to take care of him?”
“Because everyone else has better stuff to do?” Keith said.
“Whats that supposed to mean?” Lance asked.

“We’re just saying, there’s nothing you really do thats important.” Pidge said.

Lance was heartbroken. They were basically saying he wasn’t important! That he didn’t contribute!

“Lance? Whats wrong?” Hunk asked.
“Nothing,” Lance looked down. “Sorry for bothering you all,” he said.

____________

Lotor knew this was going to be easy. The boy Lance was weak, and cared very much about how he was seen. Fitting, as he was so handsome!
So Lotor now had a knew plan to not only escape, but take lance with him. And with so much material to work with, he would be out of the cell in a week.

...

“Why hello blue paladin!” Lotor gave a charming smile.
Lance said nothing back.
“Oh come on! Don’t make this bring for both of us!” Lotor laughter. “I mean, at least let me beg for freedom?”
“Do you honestly think you deserve freedom?!” Lance sneered. “You’re the prince of the galra. Second worst to Zarkon!”
“Aren’t there two sides to each story?” Lotor said.

Lance stopped for a second. No, he couldn’t give in.

“I can’t believe a a word from your lips!”
“Maybe you should get to know my lips,” Lotor whispered to himself.
“What?”
“Nothing!”

“But honestly, I have a side of this story you haven’t heard. After all, you paladins just threw me a cell without a second thought.”
“And why should I trust you’re side of the story.”
“Its obvious you trust easily,” Lotor said. “But do ever think you’re trusting the wrong people right now?”

_______

Those last words stuck with lance for a while. Recently the team hadn’t been including him in any meetings training or just straight up fun things! And it’s true, they themselves weren’t making an effort to interrogate Lotor and get his side. he knew this, because he sprang hours with Lotor with no other visitors.

Maybe he was trusting the wrong people. Maybe...he needed to see the other side?

...

“Alright Lotor start talking.” Lance said.
“What do you mean?” Lotor asked.
“I’m ready to hear what your side of this war is.”
“Oh! Of course!” Lotor cleared his throat.

“I wish for peace in this empire. An empire where they are free, but United under galra rule. Peaceful, galra rule. Not this cruel universe my father has created. I will admit, sacrifices must be made in effort for peace and order. However my wish is for freedom to continue my mission to achieve peace through alience.” Lotor sighed when finished. “You don’t believe a word do you?”
Lance said nothing at first. “I need to discuss this with the team. Thank you for your cooperation.”

________

“hey guys!” Lance ran into the the room, ready to tell them what’s he learned.

But then he stopped after seeing what they were doing.

“L-lance!” The team paused the screen., which was playing a movie from Earth.
“You...you guys are watching a movie?” lance asked. “Why didn’t you tell me?”
“We... thought you were guarding Lotor?” Hunk said.
“Which you should be doing right now.” Shirt pressed play.

...

Lance walked right up to Lotor’s cell and opened it.
“Blue paladin?” Lotor gasped.
“Call me lance,” lance said. “The escape pods are down the hall. Go, get out of here.”
“I wouldn’t be free without you Lance,” Lotor grabbed his hand. “Come with me!”
Lance looked into Lotor’s beautiful eyes.

“O-Ok,” Lance said. “Why not? Not like the others would care.”
“Good to know you finally know who to trust,” Lotor smirked.

Trim Eneron—Part 2

CHAPTER 2– In which Trin is acquainted and reacquainted

Trin’s POV:

The capital was somewhat of a fairytale where i come from. We all know it exists, but no one knows what it’s like. Some say its a city where some are never hungry. Some say its a city where there are glorious sword fights and army folks. Some say its where the king and queen truly reside. Actually no one says that’s last one, that was mom one night when she was drunk.

The capital was much different than anything I had imagined.
There was a large wall surrounding it. We had to pay a hefty toll to enter, even though we were with the army. No wonder so many are in poverty, they couldn’t afford to even enter!
When we entered, everything smelt different. It smelled fresher, cleaner. Everything was brighter. There were millions upon millions of booths to bust food, not just fruit! Veggies, meant, bread! There were booths selling trinkets, weapons, and books!

“Why do you smell so bad?” The leader suddenly spoke up.
“Excuse me?” I asked.
“You smell horrible!”
“Living in poverty does that to ya!” I sneer. “If I smell so bad, direct me to the nearest bathhouse?”
“We kinda have to,” one of the others said. “No way are you entering the base smelling like this! You’ll need new clothes too.”
“I don’t even have any money!” I said.
“Quit whining, what’s your size?”

...

Bathhouses were a distant memory for me. I remember father and I would bath together because I was too young to do so on my own, and mother obviously wasn’t allowed into the men’s room. I can remember father’s gentle strokes of the wash rag on my skin as he scrubbed away the muck. I could still see his soft smile and his loving eyes. At least, I used to think they were loving. I can only remember them now as empty. An emptiness our family apparently couldn’t fill...

A pounding on the door snapped me from my thoughts.
“KID! Hurry up in there!” I could hear the leader of the men shout.
“Almost done!” I said, rinsing off and grabbing a towel.

_____

“You’re about to enter the base,” the leader told me. “Stay quiet and follow us.”
I nodded and followed them.

Inside the base was incredible. There were multiple stories and platforms where soldiers  walked around. Some were sparring, some were discussing battle plans, and others were just walking as if awaiting and order.

“I said keep your head down!” The man said.
“I can’t help it,” I mumbled. “Look at this place-“

I stumbled as I ran into someone.
“Sorry,” I said.
“Whatever,” said the person I bumped into.
I looked up at her for a split second before she had walked away from me.

No. There’s no way! It couldn’t of been her!
Opi had left for the capital a year before the war even started! She had always been one for peace! There’s no way...

Opi and I sat on the stone wall, looking out onto the feild of autumn trees.
“Are you excited to move to the capital?” I asked.
“Not really,” Opi said.
“Why?”
“Its very busy there. Crowded, political, full of soilders. You know I’ve never been one for that kind of thing.”
“But it’s safe,” I said. “There’s been a lot of mysterious activity near the edge of our town.”

It was true, our town had been right at the edge of the kingdom. And there had been rumors of monster recently.

“Yes, but I won’t have any friends there!” Opi said.
“But you’re such a nice person! I know you’ll make lots of friends fast!”
“Heh,” Opi smiled. “Thanks Trim!”

That day was the last I saw or heard from Opi.
“Kid! Keep up!” The men pushed me forward.
“R-Righty! Sorry.”

It wasn’t her. It couldn’t have been.

___________

I had been put into my new attire and was given my office and bedroom. I sat in my office going over general Ervin notes. So many battles, so many lost....

“Permission to enter sir?”

I looked up to see a young man my age(at this point everyone was my age)in the doorway.
He had long blond hair in a pony tale and tan skin a little lighter than my own. He was incredibly handsome and I found myself blushing.

“Permission granted,” I said.
“NN,” the young man said. “Lead swordsman.”
“Pleasure,” I said.
“I came to introduce myself. I am ready to follow you’re order.” He saluted me.
“At ease,”
“I will take my leave,”

“Wait!” I said.
He turned back, confused.
“You may be able to help me with something,” I said.
“What do you need sir.”

“There is a girl in this Army, Opi. Do you know her?” I asked.
“Yes sir.”
“Could you describe here please? How does she act?”
“She is a good fighter with a spear, but incredibly reserved. Follows orders and doesn’t speak much.”

That doesn’t sound like Opi at all...

“Bring her in please.”
“Yes sir,”

...

Opi walked into the room.
“You requested to see me commander?” She stood tall with a serious face.
“Opi is that really you?” I asked.
“I am Opi commander.” She said.
“Opi its me, Trin!”
“I know who you are commander,”
“Opi, what happened to you? People have told me you’re reserved, don’t speak! The Opi I knew was friendly! And would never even think of fighting a war! What happened-“
“WAR HAPPENED!’ Opi screamed. “WAR HAPPENED TRIN!”
The storm was over as soon as it began.
“We are at war commander. There is no room for error, nor friends.”

Opi left the room.

Trin Eneron--Part 1(Prologue and chapter 1)

Ok, so this was originally a joke but it kinda became a real thing in my head 🤣

Enjoy!

PROLOGUE:

Trin Eneron's troubles started when everyone's troubles started.
When the war started.

Brie Trom was once a royal advisory for the king and queen. But when she became unappreciated and replaced by someone younger with so called "Bright ideas", she turned to dark practices.
She built herself an army of corpses who too had been forgotten, and attacked the kingdom.
Thousands of homes, lives, lost forvever. Too many bodies to dig graves for, so they were thrown to the oceans. merciless waters for a merciless enemy

Many had been slaughtered that day, but some took it as a chance.
A chance to leave their trouble's, they're problems.
According to Trin's father, that meant, leave them.

Why? Was all Trim had asked for years. Why leave them?
To starve?
To fend for themselves?

Years passed. Nearly everyone lived in a hut and starved. No one in the kingdom was living. They were only just getting by.

Thousands of people, men, women, and children alike, were called to the capital to fight in the war. There were no letters home, not even if one had died. The only news you would receve would be a single messanger, shaking their head.

Trin's mother had learned the ways of persuasion.
Or should one say, prostitution.
Meanwhile Trin learned the ways of warriors. Learned to fight, protect, and lead.

It all came to head one day, when a small group of Brie's corpses came into the town. Trin rallyied the town and fought them off.

This caught the attention of the king...

CHAPTER 1: In which Trin is given an opportunity

(TRIN'S POV)

As I sat looking around the town-

Well, its not really a town. Its more of a...well, dry swamp? Its not wet at all, but it gives off the "I live in a dumb" like a swamp does.
Huts made of mud and straw fill the streets. There is only one fruit stand and one fire place.
Mother and I would normally get first pick of everything, as mom knew every man in the town by that point.

As I sat looking around the town I took a bight of my crisp apple. It tasted sour, but I don't wanna waste anything.
Suddenly, two large boys my age came up to me. They glared at me.
"Mox, Mon," I nodded to greet them. "May I help you?"
"Give us the apple," Mox, the elder of the brothers, said.
"Why?" I asked.
"You don't deserve it!" Mon said. "The town is starving and your family gets the best of everything we have!"
"We still have just as little as you," I said. "Just, better quality?"
"The only reason you have anything is because you're bother is a ox yelled.

I stand up quickly and throw a punch. Mox doges it and Mon kicks my stomach. I stumble back but quickly charge again and push Mox into Mon. Mon and Mox fall to the ground and I sat on top of them. I use both my hadns to punch them both in the face at the same time.

"Never, call my mother a whore." I said.

"Why not, after all, we've heard its true."

We all looked up to see three men on horses. They worse royal army uniforms.
I lets them go and we all stood up.
"Tell me young man, what is your mother's profession?" the man smirked.
"...a prostitute." I admit.
"Then they have every right to call your mother what she is!" the men laughed.
"Did you come here to tarnish my family name or are you here for a reason?" I yelled at the men.

"Oh yes, go fetch your mother in fact. We need to talk to you." the leader of the men said.

....

Mother poured the men some tea. It was really hot water with a leaf in it but-

"How may we help you  men?" Mother asked. She leaned forward, her shirt slipping off her shoulder and smiling.
"We are not here for that ma'am." One of the men said.

The leader of them started to speak. "The great general Ervin, of the army has been taken from us. he died in battle just yesterday."
"Oh goodness!" Mother gasped.
"Yes, but we need to end this chaos before the enemy can take advantage. The King has Ordered Trin Eneron to become general and lead our army."
"Me?"
"Yes you."

"You will be paid obviously, and you will live at thew capital. Your mother will receive daily income as well." the man said.
"Son, are you sure about this? You could-"
I nodded. "I'll go with you. However, my mother will not be the only one paid, You will give a reasonable amount to the people of my town."
"Fine."

...

Trin Eneron was given one of the horses while the leader rode on his own and the two other men shared one.
As Trin rode off away from his town millions of thoughts ran through his head.
So many people he once knew where called to the capital. Would he see any of them?
Did he have what it takes to be a general.

Wait a minute. Didn't general Ervin have a daughter?
Shouldn't she be general?
