Izuku Midoryia wasn’t expecting a road trip with a stranger while on the run from the law to be so… Pleasant! The weather was wonderful, very few obstacles on the road, and good company? Why was this the most relaxed Midoryia had felt all year?!
Midoryia and his Partner in Falsely Accused Crime Rody Soul had turned down the music as they engaged in an American game called “20 questions”. They had gotten through 19 of them each, and Rody asked Midoryia his 20th question:
“Have you ever had your first kiss?” Rody smirked.
Midoryia’s face went totally red, and he began to stutter. “What?! A-ah I-I…I…!”
“So? Have you?”
“N-No! I-Havent…” Midoryia looked down.
Pino, Rody’s bird(and quirk), was suddenly very excited upon Rody’s shoulder. Rody chuckled and shoved it off for a second. Pino hopped back on, chirping.
“Well, wanna have it?” Rody asked.
“WHAT?!” Midoryia cried out.
“Wanna have your first kiss?”
“H-Huh?!” Midoryia began to ramble. “I-I mean of course I wanna have my first K-Kiss! But I-I don’t even know who I l-like-er, have a crush on! And e-even if I did we’re on the run! And I’ve never kissed anyone I don’t even know how—“
Midoryia was cut off my Rody’s softly capturing his lips. Midoryia’s eyes widened and his face went even redder than before. Rody’s lips were…very soft. He didn’t move or push the kiss any further. So why did Midoryia’s lips push instead? Why did his eyes flutter closed and his body lean forward into Rody?
Why was Pino suddenly chirping urgently? Midoryia peaked an eye open—
“RODY! THE WHEEL!” Midoryia cried out.
Rody also screamed, and quickly swirved the truck away from a sudden car that had passed on the long country road.
…
It was silent in the car. Even Pino had shut up. Midoryia’s face was flushed while Rody’s slightly pink face was focused on the road.
Midoryia had had his first kiss. Rody had kissed him! And Midoryia…really liked it! He tried to think it through: did he like Rody, or just the feeling if being kissed? He tried to imagine it if it had been Uraraka, or Todoroki, or even Bakugou! And yet his heart would only beat faster for Rody.
The truck stopped when Rody parked at a gas station. Rody was about to get out to refil the tank and Midoryia stopped him.
“Do it again,” he said.
“Huh?” Rody turned his head to Midoryia. “Do what again?”
“K-Kiss me.” Midoryia blushed. “Kiss me…again.”
Rody smirked, while Pino became a blushing mess.
Rody leaned in and once again his soft lips connected with Midoryia’s plump ones. Midoryia pushed into the kiss once again, and even dared to touch Rody’s face. Rody accepted the touch, and he himself pulled Midoryia closer by he shoulders. The two just sat there, kissing in the truck at angas station. When they finally broke away, they leaned on eachother’s foreheads. Rody stared into Midoryia’s green eyes, and Midoryia into Rody’s grey ones. Both of their faces were flushed.
“R-Rody…” Midoryia breathed.
He was about to go in for another kiss, when Pino popped back up.
Pino chirped at Rody urging him to get the gas. Rody chuckled at the birdy.
“Alright! Alright!” Rody chuckled. “I’m going!”
Midoryia giggled a bit at the bird too.
“I’ll just be a second,” Rody said to Midoryia, as he hopped out of the car and went to the side to fill it up.
Midoryia say quietly in the car, blushing to himself.
