One would be surprised how easy it is for a Victorian Vampire to feed. Then again, the assumption is that they are viscous demons whom lurk in the forests and woods for foolish victims. Tenya Iida was no such vampire. His family were powerful statesmen of the country, and were never suspected to be creatures of the night. Wealthy beyond reason, the Iidas lived in a large mansion estate in the capital. Tenya Iida, the youngest of the Iida family, was definitely the town bachelor. A women could only dream of being courted by such a man. Of course, those whom achieved the dream never came back to tell the tale…

It was late one winter night in the Iida Mansion. Tenya Iida roamed the estate alone, the others at an important political gala. Tenya Iida could hear his footsteps echo in the large corridors of the lonely living space. Tenya Iida wasn’t normally one to take lovers. Sure, he would every once in a while to feed. However actual relationships were beyond his understanding. Other Vampires were hard to come by, especially when they were the most powerful in the area. Who would dare to approach their territory? Sometimes Tenya wish he were mortal. At least he wouldn’t be so lonely that way.
There was a loud chime that echoed across the mansion, the rare sound of the doorbell. Who could possibly be at the door? An unannounced guest, at this hour? Tenya made his way to the front hall, a servant no doubt has already answered the door. They would tell Tenya if it was anyone important, however he wanted to see for himself whom dared ask entrance to the estate.
A servant stood at the door, talking to the unknown visitor.
“Ah, Master Iida,” the servant sidestepped to reveal the stranger. “This women asks for refuge.”
The young women wore a long coat, pink fabric soaked from the snow storm outside. She had dirty blonde hair and dark brown eyes. She was rather plump, and yet shivered weakly.
“I am so sorry to bother you!” She cried. “But the storm picked up faster than I thought it would, and I came into the storm unprepared!”
Tenya stayed silent.
The women kept talking. “I was on my way to my sister past the capital. I won’t be able to make it any farther in this storm though! Please, do you think you have spare room for the night? I am so so sorry again!”
Tenya was very taken with the young women. She was quite beautiful for a mortal. If she wasn’t a human he would have taken quite the interest in her. However he would compromise to just drink her blood instead.
“Of course ma’am,” he said. “Follow me, I will personally escort you to a room for the night.”
“Thank you so much! I’m so sorry—“ The women smiled and sighed in relief. She stepped inside the women, and the servant took her wet coat.
The servant nodded to Tenya, knowing his true intentions. Tenya nodded back, and stepped closer to the lady. He wrapped his arm around his shoulder. She tensed, but didn’t shake him off.

Tenya Iida led the still unnamed women into a luxurious bedroom. Everything was blood red, except the sheets of the bed. Though it wouldn’t be long until they too were dyed red. The women sighed once they entered the room. She was obviously very relieved for what she assumed was a safe and warm night. Tenya politely took her things and began to set them aside.
“I can’t thank you enough,” she said. “Oh my gosh! I don’t even know your name!”
“It matters not,” Tenya said.
“Of course it does, I have to thank you properly!”
“It’s not as I know your name either.” Tenya smirked.
The women blushed. “Aaaaaah! I’m sorry!” She cried. “I’m Molly!”
“Hm, pleasent name.” Tenya noted. “I would have loved to hear more of it before I eat you.”
“Wait what?”
Tenya turned to Molly and dropped his fangs. Molly tensed up, but froze completely. Her eyes went dull, and she her breathing was calm. It was as if she was asleep! Odd, Tenya had not thralled her. Was she simply accepting her death? Tenya didn’t think about it much. He approached the women and placed his hands on her shoulders to steady her. Then he bit into her neck.
Tenya had never tasted blood like this before. Most blood tasted like a simple meal, nutritionus and tasty. However her blood was different. Her blood was sweet, like a fruit. It was sugary, like a candy. It was intoxicating. Tenya wanted to taste this every day. he wouldn’t be able to do that of he drained her. But he just needed one more sip-
The women gasped, suddenly coming to. She began to struggle, and even wack his back a bit. Tenya released her, seeing it was as good a sign was any to stop. She stumbled back, holding her neck in shock. She couldn’t even form words for a bit. Tenya Iida decided to put her to sleep before she would be able to. The women was in such shock she didn’t protest when Tenya removed her winter layers and laid her in the bed. She was beginning to form a classic “Who are you?” Sentence, when he looked deep into her eyes.
“Sleep now~” he cooed.
She easily fell into his thrall, and he eyes fluttered shut.
…
Tenya left the room, wiping the blood from his chin. A servant stood outside waiting for him.
“Should I dispose of the body?” They asked.
“No,” he said to the servant. “She is to be left alive. Guard her however, so she doesn’t try to escape.”
“Of course master Tenya.” They bowed. “What are your intentions for this mortal?”
“She tasted unlike anything I’ve ever had before. Keep her well fed, healthy, and alive. I will not live without this blood.”
The servant nodded and bowed once again.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Oh god, I hope that was a dream. Molly felt her neck, and it hurt. Ok so it wasn’t a dream. She really did get attacked by a vampire. And….and she just stood there! And let it happen! What was wrong with her?! She looked around the room from last night. It was the same, so that meant she was still alive. She wasn’t dead, why didn’t the vampire kill her?
As she tried to process her confusion, a servant entered the room. They held a pile of clothing and other toiletries. They noticed Molly was awake, and nodded at her.
“Who are you?” Molly asked.
“I am a servant of the Iida Estate.” They said as they put the pile down on a table.
“Is…is that where I am?”
“Yes.”
“Oh, ok.”
“These are your clothes for the day. Please bathe and adorn them with haste. Afterwords you are to meet master Iida for an important discussion.”
“Master Iida….is that the vampire?”
“He is one of the estates Vampires, yes.”
“There’s more?!”
The servant began to exit. “Please prepare with haste.”
“Wait! Come back! There are more vampires?!”
The servant left, leaving Molly alone.
Normally one would be so panicked the idea of getting dressed would be forgotten. Replaced with pacing and overthinking. Molly however was different, she would never pass up a good pamper time. Maybe it would calm her, help her think through things? Molly entered the bathroom, and had to resist using the luxurious bathtub and thousands of different products. She opted for as quick shower, but did fall victim to the lavender shower scrub. She quickly showered and dried off. She looked at the clothes laid out for her. A simple pink gown, warm for the weather. It was a soft fabric, thank goodness!
Once ready, she went to the door. It was locked.
“Uhm, hello?” She called out. “I, uh, I’m ready?”
The door opened to reveal the same servant from earlier. “Let us leave.” They began to lead her down the long halls of the mansion.
…
The servant led Molly down a long hallway. Portraits lined the tall walls. The vampire was in a few of them, along with what Molly assumed was his family. Judging by the photos, the vampire from last night might be the youngest of this family of vampires. She wondered where the others were last night—
“We have arrived,” the servant opened a door for Molly.
Molly was pushed into a large dining room. The table was long enough for an army, yet there were only two chairs. On one end, The Vampire sat with a glass of wine-no that was blood. Had to be! The other end was an empty chair for Molly, with a hot meal. Molly slowly and carefully sat down across from her almost murderer. God dammit, why was he hot though?!
“I’m glad you could make it,” the vampire said.
Molly had so many things to say. Who are you?! What do you want from me?! How dare you suck my blood! But all she managed to say was:
“What is your name?” She asked.
The vampire chuckled. “Of all the questions, that is what you ask?”
Molly was a little embarrassed, but continued. “I want to know your name.”
“Why is it so important for you to know who I am?”
“I could care less who you are! But I can’t keep referring to you as ‘the vampire from last night’! There are apparently more than one vampire here after all.”
“Hm, fair point.” The vampire raised his glass. “Eat your meal. I can’t have my mortals starving now can I?”
“Your Mortal?” Molly rose an eyebrow, but picked up her fork nonetheless. She took a bite of the meal. It was a delicious pancake.
“Yes, my mortal.”
“So what, I belong to you?”
“Yes. I did intend on killing you. However I enjoy the taste of your blood. So you will now live here with me. Don’t worry. You will be fed and cared for.”
“Like a fucking pet, great.”
“And please don’t think of escaping. If you do, I will have you hunted down and drained dry.” The vampire took a sip of his glass.
Molly went numb again. She had noticed even before last night in potentially deadly situations her body involuntarily accepts it, and she goes numb. Luckily this time she snapped back quickly.
If Molly was going got be a pet, she had a few demands.
“Fine, I’ll be your pet. But I have a few conditions!” Molly stood up.
“Conditions? I regret inform you your not in the place to demand any such thing.” The vampire stood up too.
“I was on my way to my sister. You know that! Allow me to contact her and tell her I won’t be coming.”
“And why should I? You could easily have her send help, to rescue you.”
“And thats where my other conditions come in.” Molly said.
“Hm, go on.” The vampire smirked, curious.
“If imma be your pet, treat me like a god damn good one! You are obviously rich and powerful, look at this place! So your gonna have to give your pet some attention.”
“Attention?”
“Yes.” Molly smirked. She faked some puppy dog eyes. “You don’t just leave your poor pet alone all day! You feed her, pamper her, and play with her.”
The Vampire made his way around and over to Molly’s end of the table. He grabbed her chin and made her face him. Molly tensed, crap did she fuck up?! She thought she could outsmart him this way, be a spoiled brat! And that he would kick her out, because she was so annoying! Was he just gonna eat her now-
“Well then pet,” he said. “I agree to your conditions. You’ll get what you want.”
Molly cowered a bit, her tough act was gone. “I want your name….” She breathed.
“Why would you need that? I’m simply your master, pet. Feel free to call me as such.”
Molly whined and ripped her chin out of his grip.
“Thought you could outsmart me, didn’t you?”
Molly blushed, but cried out in frustration and defeat.
…
Molly was quite upset as she wrote her final letter to her sister. A servant stood beside her, watching her every pen-stroke. There would be no chance to ask for help, or a secret message of any kind! Molly sighed. She set herself up, and now she would be a pet forever! How degrading. She tried to make things better for her by acting spoiled, now she just regrets it. What was she thinking, demanding ‘attention’?! Now Master would be with her non-stop! No chance of escape, or a break from humiliation. She slammed her head on the desk(the servant didn’t even blink), and began her letter.
Dearest Sister,
I fucked up and
The servant crumpled her letter. She growled, and started again.
Dearest Sister,
I regret to inform you
The servant took the letter.
“HEY!” She yelled. “I have to be in character! And I apologize for everything! Especially missing anc event!”
The servant said nothing but did nod., and gave her another peice of paper
Dearest Sister,
I regret to inform you I must cancel my visit last minute. Due to complications I can not disclose I will not be in contact for sometime. Please forgive me. I love you and hope to talk to you again as soon as possible!
Love your sister,
Molly.
The servant nodded and accepted the letter. Molly sighed and put her head in her hands. It hurt to lie to her sister. “Hope to talk to you again as soon as possible”. She knew she’d never talk to her again as long as Master had something to do about it. The servant had left, to seal and address the letter. She was alone in the blood red room, now her bedroom. What was she supposed to do all day?!
“How is my little pet?” Master came in, and pat her head.
“Fine…” Molly mumbled.
“Aw, where’s that bite?” Master asked.
“I may as well behave, right?” Molly raised an eyebrow. “I set myself up, now I have to live with it…”
Master’s eyes softened. However He took her by the arm, and led her from the room quietly.
_______________________________________
Tenya Iida led Molly by the arm around the mansion. She wanted to be a pet, she’ll be a pet! However he did feel some regret deep down…
“You are free to roam anywhere in the teritory of the estate,” Tenya said. “However if you dare to go farther, you know what will happen.”
The women sighed. “I know.”
“Now, what does my pet want to do?” He crouched down, as if he was talking to a dog.
“Slap you, but for now I’ll settle for a tour of what there is to do around here.”
Tenya chuckled. “Follow me pet.”
“God dammit I told you my name! Please use it.”
Tenya shrugged. He could give her that.
Tenya showed Molly the gardens, the ballroom, the library, and many more places where she could do things. Molly, try as she might to hide it, was amazed. She would rush around the rooms, shocked by everything. She would ramble for a few seconds, before she remembered her situation and would get sad again. But those small glimpses of the young women really got to Tenya Iida. Perhaps she would make good company, not just a pet to tease. Perhaps…Tenya should tone it down a bit.
“So pet—I mean Molly. Molly, what would you like to do?”
Molly blushed a bit at the mention of her name. “Uhm…the library? I saw some paper, I’d like to doodle.”
“Ah, are you an artist?”
“It’s just a hobbie.”
…
Tenya sat close next to Molly on the soft rugs of the library. The fireplace was nice and warm, the winter storm still raging from last night. He was trying to read, however Molly was quite distracting. She would hum and mumble things as she created art. The sound of her pencil making its strokes and violent scrubbing of the eraser. Her eyes were focused, and yet far away. As if she was focused on what she was drawing but another part of her was getting ahead of itself. Tenya was mezmerized by the fire burning in her brown eyes. However, her blonde hair kept falling and covering them. Tenya slowly tucked her hair behind her ear. Molly didn’t notice right away, but as soon as she did she looked up at Tenya with a blush.
He was so close to her face. He could smell her, smell her blood. That sweet, candy tasting blood. He wanted more, right now. He tilted his head and leaned into her neck.
Molly didn’t go still this time, and tried to lean away. Tenya grabbed her shoulders, and held her still. “Don’t struggle,” he demanded. “Or it will just hurt more.”
Molly whined, and Tenya bit down. He was careful not to drink too much, she was so sweet and he couldn’t bare to be without that taste ever again. He had to keep her alive. He removed his fangs after a bit, and wiped his chin with his sleeve. Molly’s eyes were drooping, clearly weaker from Tenya’s meal. She fell into his arms.
“S-Sorry…” she whispered.
“Come my pet, lets get you to rest.” He lifted her in his arms, and took her to her room.
Molly whimpered once she was laid in her bed. She grabbed Tenya’s wrist, before he could leave.
“What?” Tenya asked.
“P-Please,” she begged. “Tell me your name. I have to know your name…”
Tenya sighed. “My name is Tenya Iida.”
Tenya managed to blush when Molly gave a small smile just before she passed out.
THE END
IDK what the hell this was but I liked it. Happy Halloween!
