LOL I’ve definitely written stuff like this before hahaha. But I was having a craving for it! So a total “Write what you wanna read” bit here lol. Special Thamks to my gurl Rua/Dorothy for her support on this one(aka letting me ramble and spitball ideas with her haha)!
For clarification: The Lion switch DID Happen. BUT! Shiro DID go missing, but not for a long time at all. Keith didn’t join the BOM right away(or at all you’ll see) is still able to fly red if he needs to.
So basically:
- Lance can Fly Blue and Red
- Alurra can Fly Blue
- Keith can Fly Red and Black
- Shiro can Fly Black
We good? We good :)
Yee! Arranged marrige AU. Kolivan // Lance, sorta slow burn-ish,
(There was Orginally Omegaverse Omega Lance, but I decided against it. Now only the Galra(really just the BOM) have ABO stuff lol)
Trying something super new, I hope this turns out as well as my hopes for it lol.
LETS GOOOO!!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Lance wasn’t the smartest person. Well, he was the dumbest of the smartest. He’d take that as a win! Better than being the smartest of the dumbest, right? But as he said, he was not the smartest member of Team Voltron. Everyone else seems to have understood the Lion Switch and its reasoning by now. But Lance? He was still so confused. Why would Blue shove him to Red and vise versa? The Lion bond was supposed to be special, so why did Lance get to pilot two lions?
Sure, Keith could pilot Red and Black. This was totally golden Rivalry material! And yet Lance found himself constantly stuck in his own head, never able to understand the Lions’ reasoning. However every time he felt like he was on to something, Red and Blue would reach out to him and tell him that ‘Voltron has a plan’; and it would break his focus. He wanted to trust Voltron, his teammates, the Quintecense bla bla bla—he just couldn’t help but worry! But once again, Lance wasn’t the smartest person. If his much smarter team wasn’t worried, why should he be?
Lance laid down on the couch of the command room. It was just after breakfast, and there was a little while before training. He was all alone in silence, his mind once again running while.
The team isn’t worried, I shouldn’t be either. Lance repeated to himself. The team isn’t worried, I shouldn’t be either. The team Isn’t—Wait, are their Lions saying the same thing to them? Maybe its just Red and Blue. Maybe I should talk to Keith? What if Red is telling him the whole “Voltron Has a Plan” thing too? Hm, maybe not. He was Leader for a bit during the Switch, surely he would have told us. But if not, why are Blue and Red just bothering me? No No, I have to stop thinking like that. The team isn’t worried, I shouldn’t be either. The team isn’t worried, I shouldn’t be either—
“Hey, you OK?” Hunk tapped Lance’s shoulder, snapping him out of his recently reoccurring daze.
“Huh? Oh! Yeah!” Lance smiled. “Sorry, lost in thought.”
“Thats been happening a lot lately,” Hunk said. “Are you surer you’re ok? You can always talk to me!”
“Oh Of course!” Lance reassured his best friend. “I’m totally fine, I promise! I’ve just had a question on my mind lately.”
“What is it?”
“It’s just the Lion Switch,” Lance sighed.
Hunk sighed, knowing Lance was having trouble with the change. But still? After this long? He was kinda concerned.
“I know that if you guys’d aren’t worried or anything, there’s no reason I should be!” Lance said quickly.
Hunk sat down next to Lance. “But…?”
“But I can’t help but feel like there’s something more to all this! Every time I feel like I’m about to figure it out, Red and Blue break my concentration. It’s suspicious.”
“Hm, that is strange.” Hunk agreed.
“B-But I’m sure its nothing!” Lance said quickly, not wanting his friend too begin worrying too. “After all, they keep saying ‘Voltron has a Plan’. And they’re VOLTRON LIONS! Thousands of years old! I’m sure I’m just freaking out aver nothing.”
“Lance your their Paladin!” Hunk gasped. “You have a right to know what this ‘plan’ is—“
Just before he could continue, Shiro came into the room. He told them to follow him to the training room, and that they were doing a group exercise today. Lance and Hunk followed him, but not before Hunk insisted they talk about Lance’s worries later. Lance nodded.
________________________________
The group training exercise was pretty simple and routine. The group stood with their backs to eachother in a circle was Corran send battle drone after battle drone. The goal was to watch eachtother’s back and to learn how to handle a surrounded situation. However the Princess was no where to be seen. She didn’t always attend training, but she always attended group training. She needed to train if she was needed to pilot Blue again. Corran said she was on an important call, but left it at that. He didn’t explain who it was, or why it was so important. He seemed worried, which was new.
But to be fair, they were all worried lately. The Lion Switch had proved an issue fir the coalition. Many of their allies worried about the stability of Voltron: Shiro had gone missing, and the paladin bond with the lions became unstable due to the Lion Switch. Many believed that Voltron was losing their touch due to the Lion switch, and not that the lions were simply bonding closer with even more Paladins in case of an emergency. Alurra had been very busy and stressed reassuring Allies and making more treaties.
The way Corran spoke of this meeting added a suspense unlike any other. He made this one seem very urgent, but why weren’t the other paladins involved then?
Their questions were answered when Alurra quickly walked into the training room. She had a very nervous face and held her hands close to her. She called for Corran to end the Training Sequence as she had something urgent to discuss. The Paladins looked at eachother nervously. No matter how urgent, Alurra usually called them to the meeting room. She never simply jumped them during training. This must be serious if it couldn’t wait the quick walk to the HQ.
“Alurra, whats up?” Pidge asked.
“Princess, is everything okay?” Shiro asked.
“We have an issue,” Alurra said. “The Blade of Mamorra is threatening to leave the Coilition.”
“WHAT?!” Keith screamed.
“Why?!” Lance also yelled.
“They are concerned about Voltrons stability due to the Lion switch but also questioning the lengths of our loyalty to them.” Alurra said.
“Well what do we do to fix it?” Hunk asked.
“They are asking for some adjustments to the treaty…” Alurra was very scared.
“And…?” Shiro edged her on.
“And an Arranged Marrige.”
“WHAT?!” The entire team screamed along with Corran.
“You cannot Marry, Princess!” Corran gasped.
“No, I cannot.” Alurra explained. “After all, they have not asked for me.”
“What?!” Lance yelled. “Then who the hell did they ask for?!”
“You.”
It went silent.
“I’m sorry, I must have some weird Altean pool water in my ear still.” Lance slapped the side of his head. “I thought you said they were asking for me!”
“She did…” Hunk said.
“WHAT?!” Lance screamed. “HOW?! WHY?! WHY ME?!” Lance began to wave his hands in the air in panic.
“Yeah, why him?” Keith asked. “He’s not Galra. And he has no experience with a blade! He’s of no use to them.”
Lance stoped flaring around to glare at Keith. “Hey!”
“Its true!” Keith said. “They have to reason to have request you specifically!”
“Technically they did not,” Alurra explained. “However you are the only option.”
“What’s that supposed to mean?!” Lance yelled. “What? That I’m expendable!”
“No! Of course not!” Alurra gasped.
“Forget it! I’m not even gonna talk about this. Because there’s no way I’m going to be in an arranged Marrige!”
“But Lance—!”
Lance threw his bayard to the ground and ran from the training room.
…
Lance sat in his room, holding his knees to his chest. He rocked back and forth on his bed. He knew the reason for the Lion Switch. But that just brought up so many more questions!
“Voltron has a Plan,” Lance said to himself in a mocking tone. “What kind of a plan is this?!”
Was the only reason Blue accepted Alurra was so that he could be thrown out to the Blade Later? If so wasn’t that a paradox? The Blade wouldn’t be wanting him if the Lion Switch didn’t even happen! And even ignoring the Paradox, why him?! Why couldn’t Keith do it? He was Galra like them, hell he’s a member of the BOM himself! Why did Alurra Insist they send Lance? Was he just that expendable?! Did all his playful flirting and teasing make it seem like he’d be totally on board with this? And even if he was, who the fuck is he supposed to be marrying?! Why does the Blade even want a marrige alliance when they didn’t before?!
There was a soft knock on the door. Lance didn’t even have to look up to know it was Hunk. Hunk walked into his room, even though Lance never said he could. Hunk didn’t say a word as he sat down next to Lance on the bed. They sat in silence for a moment, before Hunk spoke just a few words in a soft voice.
“Alurra spoke to us,” he said. “There’s a bit more to this, but you are not expendable.”
Lance sniffled.
“When you’re ready, I can tell you the rest of what Alurra said.”
Lance sighed. “Why would I want to? I don’t wanna do this stupid marrige. And I don’t wanna be convinced either!”
“I’m not saying I’m not gonna try to convince you.” Hunk said. “But you’re not expendable, none of us think that. And I can explain why if your willing to listen.”
Lance grumbled. “Well now I’m insecure and curious.”
Hunk chuckled.
“The Blade of Mamora is asking for an Arranged Marrige between a Paladin of Voltron and their Leader Kolivan.” Hunk explained calmly. “Kolivan barely even spoke before he began to blush a bit! Another Blade had to explain for him.” Hunk giggled.
“So what, this wasn’t his idea?” Lance asked.
“Seemed like it was a majority vote among the Blades.”
“But why was there even a vote? Why do they want this?”
“They want to ensure that Voltron will be able to defend the universe even if all Paladins aren’t available to us. Alurra tried to explain that the Lion Switch itself proved that, but they wouldn’t agree. They did bring up a good point though that if we did this, it would help secure the other unstable alience too!”
“I guess…but why does it have to be me?!” Lance cried out. “Why not Keith? He pilots two lions!”
“Because Keith is Already part of the the Blade of Mamora, it wouldn’t technically be an alience with Voltron.”
“Ah…good point.” Lance sighed
“And Alurra can pilot Blue, but no one else can pilot Red but You and Keith.”
“God dammit! I really am the only one that can do this, Aren’t I?!”
Hunk nodded.
It was silent once again. But this time, Lance silently accepted his fate. That he was the only one they would send, that he didn’t have a choice. He was going to have to leave Voltron, leave the fight. Once again, Hunk spoke again first.
“But do you see now that we’re not sending you because we think your expendable?” Hunk said.
“What do you mean?” Lance said. “I am expendable! Thats why your sending me!”
“Thats not what I meant!” Hunk said. “When you say expendable, you mean that we want to get rid of you. That if given the choice to get rid of any of us, we’d chose you. But thats not what this is! We don’t have a choice Lance.”
Lance slowly nodded. “I guess I get it.”
Hunk leaned on Lance and wrapped his arm around Lance. “I wish it didn’t have to be this way. I didn’t want to lose you.”
Lance nodded. “I’m gonna miss you.”
…
The night before Lance was going to be sent to the Blade Of Mamora base, Lance was wide awake. He should have been sleeping in his room for such a big day, but instead he paced the comman room alone. he had accepted his fate of the arranged marrige with someone he barley knew, but it didn’t help that Lance didn’t get any say in the wedding! The BOM was gonna decide when the wedding was, who was gonna come, what it was gonna look like, what everyone was gonna wear. Lance didn’t get a say at all! That just sucked.
Lance hated leaving Voltron even more. He felt like a total coward, a loser! Everyone else was going to keep fighting the galra with the mighty Voltron. And what was Lance going to do? Sit around a BOM base as a trophy wife? He felt like he was letting everyone down. Everyone else were going to be praised as heroes, but Lance was going to be ridiculed. Leaving the war for a marrige. Maybe it was self centered, but Lance had flown Blue and Red! He was a part of Voltron! He wanted some of the glory and fame too! He felt like he was abandoning the war, quitting, running away. And her hated it.
“Lance?” Alurra waked in wearing her nightgown. “What are you doing awake?”
Lance turned to her. “Ah! I, uh…what are you doing awake?”
Alurra raised an eyebrow, and sat down on the couch behind him. “I couldn’t sleep.”
“What’s wrong?” Lance asked, concerned.
“Lance, you’re leaving!” Alurra said. “And there’s nothing I can do to stop it.”
Lance was surprised, but then chuckled. “Heh, I would have thought you would miss me the least.”
“What? Why?”
“Well, I mean I always flirted with you and messed around! You always seemed so annoyed by me.”
“Lance, while I have no interest in you romantically I do find you flirtatious remarks rather flattering and amusing.” Alurra giggled. “And I will quite miss the way you lighten the mood.”
“Really?”
“Yes. I will miss you quite a lot. After all, the Blade of Mamora is quite tight on security. I may not see you for a long time after the wedding. That is, if you plan to invite us?”
“I hope I can.” Lance said. “From what I’ve heard I have no say in the wedding.”
Alurra gasped. “Ok THAT will be changed in the alience tomorrow!”
“Really?” Lance smiled.
“Its the least I can do for you.” She smiled as well. “Quiznack, I’m going to demand it.”
The two laughed. Lance leaned over and gave Alurra a hug. “Thanks Princess.”
“Of course Lance.”
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The Blade of Mamora members made quick work of rushing the final Alilence signing and Lance’s goodbyes. Kolivan wasn’t even there for half of it! Some future husband. However Alurra was able to demand Lance have full say in the wedding planning, and the BOM reluctantly agreed. Lance stayed in the BOM hanger until he could no longer see Voltron or the Lions in the sky. His aching heart became numb, and a Blade member quickly led him away.
…
The Hallways of the base all looked the same, and there was no way Lance was going to figure them out any time soon. He was able to spot a cafeteria and a few training rooms before they arrived in the dormitory wing of the ship. For a second, Lance wondered if he was going to be staying in a tiny room like all the other Blade Members. However the galran led him farther along to a much larger door.
“This is Kolivan’s Quarters,” the blade explained, as he opened the door however did not go in. “You are to stay in this room. Kolivan will join you shortly.”
“O-Okay,” Lance said. He took a few steps in the room and put down his single duffle bag.
“And here is your Blade of Mamora,” The galra gave him a dagger just like Keith’s.
Before Lance could question, the galran left closing the huge door behind him.
Lance gazed down at the dagger in his hand. It looked just like Keith’s, at least he thinks. He could never get close enough to Keith to get a good look at his blade. Keith was reasonably protective of it. The blade Lance held was heavy in his hands, and well sharped. It’s handle was a deep purple, which progressively lightened until the tip of the blade was a bright silver. The iconic BOM logo glowed on a oval stone imbedded in the handle. He was fascinated by the glow that traveled throughout the blade. Why was he given this though? He wasn’t Galra, he had no way to activate it?
Lance shook his head, quickly dispelling those thoughts. He couldn’t keep asking so many questions. He no longer had Blue or Red to stop him from Spiraling.
Lance decided to shift his focus to observing the room, which was entirely purple and black. In the center against the back wall was a huge bed. Kolivan was already a large man, this could fit at least three of him! The linens were a light periwinkle and looked shiny, above was a thin canopy. A few paces to the bed’s left was a working desk. It was covered in papers and other documents. Some were even taped to the wall above it for more room. If his bedroom desk was this messy what was the state of his office? To the Right of the bed where Lance stood, there was a door. It was most likely a closest or bathroom. But before Lance could open the door to find out, the bedroom door opened and Kolivan stomped in.
Kolivan stomped straight to his desk, barley sparing Lance a glance. Lance however did catch a split second of eye contact, and could see a slight pink of Kolivan’s cheeks. But Kolivan looked away and began scuffling through his many papers. Not a word was spoken between the two. Well, that simply wouldn’t do. If Lance was going to married to this man surely he deserved some respect!
Lance cleared his throat loudly to catch his attention, and put his hands on his hips.
Kolivan looked to him, and raised an eyebrow.
Lance raised one back.
“What do you want?” Kolivan asked.
“Excuse me?” Lance scoffed. “I want my future spouse to acknowledge me!”
Kolivan glared at Lance, but approached the former Blue Paladin. He towered over him, looking him up and down. “Quite bold to speak to your leader that way.”
“HA!” Lance exclaimed fake laughter. “I’m gonna be married to you, I can speak to you anyway I want!”
“Excuse me?”
“You heard me. And your not my leader. We are equals, got that?” He waved a finger.
Kolivan began to growl, but in the end just huffed in frustration. “Fine.”
“Good.” Lance said. “Now, lets talk about this wedding—“
“Another time, I have important work to complete and must go train.” Kolivan tried to leave but Lance stopped him.
“Excuse me?!” Lance cried out. “Nuh Uh! We’re gonna be married! AKA: a Couple! In love! Bla Bla Bla! We gotta bond!”
“It will have to wait.”
Kolivan took his hand back and left the room.
“Well, that was one hell of an introduction.” Lance crossed his arms.
______________________
Kolivan wasn’t angry at this arrangement per say. Majority vote ruled that this was the best option to ensure Voltron’s stability and Loyalty. And the Blue Paladin was a fine young man! However he felt overly frustrated and flustered more than usual. He wasn’t used to getting close to people, let alone on a mating level. And now he was going to mate and marry someone he didn’t know at all! The Blue Paladin wasn’t even Galra! He wasn’t looking forward to the discomfort he would be feeling for the foreseeable future until he was able to mate with the paladin, along with the marrige ceremony.
So far the Blue Paladin seemed just as frustrated as he was. At least he wasn’t trying to an absolute pain, and was trying to work things out. Albeit being a little shit in the process. It bothered him that the Blue Paladin was already quite alluring. He was very beautiful just to look at, and he was quite the quick witted young man. He could faintly smell his scent, and it felt like it was calling the Galran. Kolivan felt he deserved a better life than the isolated one he has been forced into.
Kolivan shook his head and stammed his fists down on his desk. No, he wasn’t going to think about this! He had training to do.
Kolivan entered the training rooms, a few other blades running drills. He could feel the eyes on him despite the masks. Kolivan gave them all a glare and they quickly continued to train. Kolivan began to train himself, harder and longer than needed. He could feel so many eyes, and hear so many whispers.
“Finally! He’s settling down!”
“Do you think this will soften him up? Maybe he’ll give us less chores!”
“Why did the council agree to this? Its gonna make him weak!”
“I bet he’ll be better than ever with a mate motivating him!”
“Do you think the Paladin even likes him?”
“He’s so lucky to be mating the Blue Paladin! He’s cute!”
Kolivan couldn’t take it anymore, and stormed out of the training room. He made his way to the public locker rooms. The other blades were shocked to see him there, as he normally used his private bathing room. Which was quite the luxery! Why avoid it? Obviously Kolivan was avoiding Lance.
All the whispers among him had him so conflicted! Would this make him weak or stronger? Would he even be a good mate? Or would he be a horrible one? Was there even a chance the Blue Paladin would learn to love him? Was there even a chance for Kolivan to love Lance?
…
Kolivan slaved over paperwork for Hours, completing work for the next few movements long ahead of time. Anything to distract himself from the mate waiting for him in his quarters. But of course he fellow Blades refused to let him. Constantly teasing him or making quick comments. Kolivan tried to ignore them, but—
“Geez Kolivan, you’ve been here for Vargas!” Thace said, a smirk growing on his face. “Did your mate kick you out of the room?”
“No, of course not.” Kolivan growled.
“Really? Because you could have left Vargas ago, normally you would! Did the lock you out?”
“No he did not. I could go back to my room at any time I wanted.”
“Mhm.” Thace said, doubting his words.
“I just have a lot of work to do.”
“Yeah, sure.”
“Its true!”
“Ha, yeah.”
“I can go back to my quarters whenever I wish!”
“Prove it!”
“FINE!” Kolivan yelled.
Kolivan slammed his fists down on the desk, a few papers flying. He couldn’t be bothered to pick them up though, as he stomped out of the room and away down the halls.
Thace chuckled as he began to pick up the papers. Ha, Thace thought to himself. That sucker.
_____________________________
Lance looked around the room for probably the 50th time that days. He had no idea how to open the door, so he had been stuck in there all day. He was getting Hungry!
Lance had unpacked his duffle bag. It didn’t have much, just his clothes and trinkets. He had discovered the the door to his right was a bathroom. It had a large sink and shower, reasonable for Kolivan’s size. He tucked his toiletries and skincare products in a small corner of the sink. He had hung up the night wear he had from the Castle of Lions in the closet he had found just next to the sink. It seemed its wear Kolivan’s hung as well, along with his bathrobe. He felt the material which it was very soft, and was kinda jealous! Back in the room, Lance was unsure where to put his other things. After all he and Kolivan were going to be sleeping in the same bed now, what side was his? Lance took a risk and set up on the right side. After all Kolivan’s desk was on the left. He’s placed his favorite photo of Team Voltron and a photo of his Family back on Earth on the bedside table. In the drawer he placed the BOM knife and his space phone from Pidge. Sure, it wouldn’t be able to communicate due to the BOM base security. But it still had pictures and music on it! However there was no room for any of Lance’s trinkets from all the planets he’s visited. So he kept those in his duffle bag next to the bedside table on the floor.
Lance currently sat on the floor in front of it, looking through the memories. He was holding a balmaran crystal when Kolivan suddenly stormed into the room.
The door was swung with great force, and Kolivan seemed angry. Unlike last time, were he was simply serious and in a rush. He made it into the room, breathing hard in anger. Lance was going to try and talk to him about leaving him alone and starving all day but then he noticed the Galran’s mood. Lance was unsure what to do. One one hand, he wanted to leave the large scary Alein trained with a sword be. On the other hand, he naturally wanted to comfort the large scary Alein trained with a sword. He went with the second option. Live and Learn right? Well, he hope he lived.
Lance slowly stood up and went to the Galran. The Galran didn’t move from his stance.
“Hey Kolivan,” Lance said softly, and carefully placed a hand on his bicep. “Are you ok?”
Kolivan’s head snapped to look at Lance, and Lance flinched for a second. Before Lance could applogize, Kolivan leaned down and flew his face into the crook of Lance’s neck.
Lance cried out for a second in surprise. But he didn’t feel any fangs or claws. OK so Kolivan wasn’t killing Lance, good! So, what was he doing?
“Wh-Whatcha doin there?” Lance said, standing still.
“You smell nice…” Kolivan breathed.
Lance could feel Kolivan’s hot breath and he shivered. “Th-Thanks…The Altean body wash is good…”
“No…Not that…” Kolivan continued to breath in Lance’s ‘scent’.
“Then what do I smell like?”
“It smells like salt water…and…tropical plants.” Kolivan had visibly relaxed.
Lance thought that was weird. He hadn’t been to any tropical planet recently. In fact the last one they went to was a desert! And the Altean Body Wash was minty scented. Why did Kolivan claim he smelled like…Cuba?
Kolivan finally stood back up, and blushed. “I apologize for my forward actions,”
“Uh, it’s fine. I guess?” Lance shrugged, also blushing a bit. “Wh-What was that?”
“Galrans have a strong sense of smell. Everyone has a unique scent, and some are more…calming, than others.”
“THATS WHY KEITH ALWAYS COMPLAINED ABOUT DOING THE DIRTY LAUNDRY!” Lance shouted out his realization. “Wait, I have a calming scent?”
Kolivan nodded. “I think so.”
“You think?”
“I find it calming.”
“Oh.” Lance blushed, realizing Kolivan was complimenting him. “Uhm, thanks.”
Kolivan nodded.
“What had you so upset?” Lance asked.
“Some fellow Blades were causing me issues.” Kolivan grumbled. “It’s nothing you need to worry about.”
“Okay.” Lance decided to leave it be for now.
“I see you have unpacked,” Kolivan gestured to Lance’s trinkets.
“Yeah,” Lance said. “Didn’t really have anything to do all day.”
“Did you not receive a tour?”
“Yeah, NO.” Lance began to get a bit sassy. “Nor did I receive any FOOD! I’m hungry!”
“Oh, I see.”
“Yeah! So feed me!”
“Excuse me?”
“Feed me! I’m hungry!”
“What are you? A kit?”
“Kolivan. I have not eaten, for 8 Vargas.” Lance placed his hands together. “So either shut up and feed me, or I’ll eat YOU.”
Kolivan rolled his eyes, but led Lance out of the room.
…
Kolivan and Lance walked back into the room Vargas later, after a large meal and tour. Lance had to admit, the BOM had good food! He would miss Hunk’s cooking, however he was looking forward to eating more than just Green Goo.
Kolivan went into the bathroom to undress, and came out in a pair of alein boxers. Other than that he worse nothing. Lance couldn’t help but but stare, he wasn’t even ashamed. The Galran was ripped. He had muscles huger than the Rock guy back on Earth. And 13 back of abs, Lance counted! He wondered was other giant mussels was being covered.
“Its not polite to stare.” Kolivan told him.
Lance looked back up at him. “I’m gonna be marrying you. I’m gonna stare.”
Kolivan rolled his eyes, ignoring his blush.
Lance hopped up off of the bed and made his way into the bathroom. He took a shower, brushed his teeth, performed his skin care and a face mask, and then came out of the bathroom in his nightwear. Unlike Kolivan, he wore a tank top and PANTS!
“What took you so long?” Kolivan crossed his arms.
“Hey, I care about my skin care!” Lance ran the back of his hand along his cheek. “I have the softest skin in the univirse!”
Kolivan suddenly reached over the bed and felt Lance’s cheek. Lance couldn’t stop them from turning red and his eyes widening.
Kolivan removed his hand. “They are soft.”
“I know right—“
“I have felt softer though”
Lance squeaked in shock and offense. “How Dare you—!”
Kolivan smirked, and made a deep chuckle. That made Lance’s skin gain goosebumps.
“It is time for bed, go to sleep.” Kolivan said, laying down.
“W-Wait!” Lance cried.
“What?”
“T-Tomorrow. We should talk. About the…the wedding.”
“Fine.”
The lights turned off.
Lance laid down on his side of the bed, the pillow soft. Things certainly weren’t perfect right now, but they were going better than he expected. Kolivan certainly had to work on his bluntness and telling Lance about these Galran customs and biology. And sure, Lance could work on being less demanding. But at least they didn’t hate eachother. At least there seemed to be a chance this would all work out. Lance turned his head to look at Kolivan sleeping.
Yeah…it might work out.
THE END
This was getting too long for my taste lol. But yeah! This was a ton of fun to try and I turned outs just as well as I hooped it would! YAY!
